Chapter 65. Post Operation

Two hours have passed since the beginning of the operation. All the families waited anxiously and worriedly. In a corner of the waiting room was Syifa who had fallen asleep in the lap of Ghibran. Aisha fell asleep with her head resting on the man's shoulder.

It seemed that Aisha became possessive after seeing Annisa who wanted to hug her husband. He was sticking with the Ghibran. Luckily the man responded well. She received Aisha's embrace by hugging her back. Only Ibu Nur seemed to be less fond of Aisha's attitude.

Nur's mother who was holding Aqila approached Ghibran. He stared at the two women who were in the man's arms.

"If you're tired, wake up Aisha. Ask the driver to take you home, let him and Syifa sleep at home. Poor you, must be tired of hugging two people at once," said Ibu Nur.

"It's okay, Mom. I'm happy to do it" replied Ghibran.

"Your wife is spoiled. See Annisa, her husband is betting his life is still strong and not spoiled" said Ibu Nur later.

"Marijuana with what husband is in a state of pregnancy, for me it is common, Mom. I'm glad he's spoiled. It means she needs me as her husband. I don't like women who are too independent" replied Ghibran.

Nur's mother was silent, no longer answering her son's words. He walked back towards Annisa sitting down. I don't know what the woman is talking about now. He seemed to be talking seriously with his voice.

Three hours of operation went on. The doctor came out of the room. Ghibran woke his wife gently.

"Darling, wakeup! I'd like to ask a doctor about Ikhbar's condition" Ghibran said. Mother Nur looked at it with a sour face. With the look in his eyes, Ghibran immediately asked the doctor.

Aisha opened her eyes and smiled looking at the face of her husband who was so close to her face. Ghibran kissed his wife's cheek gently.

"Mas, just put it in her Syifa chair," said Aisha saw Ghibran who wanted to approach the doctor.

After putting Syifa on the chair, she walked over to the doctor. Where Annisa is talking.

"How's the Brotherhood doing, Doc?" ask Ghibran.

"As I told Annisa's mother, if the operation goes well. Another half hour can be moved to the ward. The patient is still under observation" the doctor replied kindly.

After asking enough questions and the doctor explained everything, he said goodbye to everything because there are still patients.

Currently Ikhbar has been moved to the ward. The situation is still unconscious. Annisa sat beside her husband's bed holding his hand.

Nur's mother then approached Aisha and Ghibran who were sitting on the sofa. He sat next to the son. Her husband, Mr. Abdul, is out of town.

"Honey, what do you think, stay here or we stay at the hotel?" ghibran asked his wife.

"As for me" replied Aisha.

"According to mom, you just go home. Why stay," reply mom.

Aisha took a deep breath. It's not that she doesn't like going to her in-laws' house. But since their relationship is less harmonious, there is a sense of discomfort when staying there.

"Terserusah Mas only. Are we going home to Mom's, Mas?" ask Aisha with her husband.

Ghibran did not answer yet, Mother Nur answered. He said something that Aisha was not acceptable to him. So the woman was a little angry.

Aisha took a deep breath in hearing the answer from her mother-in-law. He stood up straight. Syifa also stood up and hugged her mother's hand.

'I will not allow Mas Ghibran to accompany Annisa" Aisha said.

"You can't be selfish Aisha. Ghibran is not alone with Annisa. There's Annisa's mom and mom. What should you be afraid of?" ask Mother Nur.

"I was just looking after my husband Marwah. He's not Annisa's mahram. There are other male cousins. It's not just Ghibran. After all, between Mas Ghibran and Annisa there is no blood relation" replied Aisha.

The surprised look on my face from Ibu Nur. The woman thought Aisha didn't know about herself that only mom connected with.
