THE PAST 3

The afternoon makes the sunlight dim. But they, Zahrana and Aridiansyah, still seem reluctant to move from there. All the two of them did, just sat and quietly stared at the waves that were almost hitting their feet.

The few moments from before between them were only silent. Aridiansyah is the most sad. The fear that if Zahrana does not continue, then the girl will marry another man, he thought.

Zahrana turned towards Ari, then laughed loudly while walking backwards still away from the position of Ari who was still chasing him.

"If I was betrothed by my parents, what? Or if my soul mate has come, there's no way I'm rejecting him, right?" Zahra chuckled and ran back as fast as she could.

"Can't.... Anyway can't... You can even turn it down, Zahra..." Ari started to snort in annoyance.

"You're weird... When I can't you get married? In fact, the woman should not stop for too long, loh..." Shouted Zahrana loudly. The roar of the waves made Zahrana's voice lose, so he had to shout say it to Ari.

"alright... I will wait for you until you graduate and become a scholar, so that we can be together for before our separation. Because someday, you'll marry someone who is your equal, just like your mother dreamed..." Zahrana.

Ari shook her head. "Surely, we will always be together..."
