The wind blew a twig of a tree branch, dripping with dew that settled down, landing smoothly right on the windshield of a black car. Danu leaned back, stretched his legs slightly stiff, while staring at the dark streets. His eyes caught some silhouettes passing by. A tall figure who likes to jump.
Danu flinched, reassuring her sight. His eyes winked in disbelief, the figure grew increasingly crowded, crossing the road with great difficulty. Maybe the spirits are migrating too? Danu asked. Just then his heart was racing, his blood rippled. Danu held her breath, trying not to draw attention, occasionally glancing sideways, staring at the silhouette that was getting away.
He could only breathe a sigh of relief when the figure had vanished from his sight. What he saw made no sense.
Some time Danu was drowning in daydreams, he only realized the driver who previously sat next to him was not there. He ran outside checking around, then found the driver lying on the street. He was unconscious, his body warm, but his fingers were very cold. Danu took him inside, laid him in the back seat, and checked his pulse once more.
The wind again blew, touching the nape of Danu who was standing next to the black car. This time he felt a completely different air, something strange about this forest. Suddenly Danu remembered the story he had heard before while eating a break. One of the demons Alas Ruwah appeared in the western forest. Maybe this is the place I mean it.
Danu banished negative thoughts, he rubbed his neck several times. As his hand shifted to his shoulder, he found a finger attached to his shoulder. He flinched his head, glancing slowly until his eyes met the figure behind him.
Danu rubbed his chest once more, he sighed when he saw Alingga who touched his shoulder. Of course it is far from his delusion of ugly creatures that will make his appetite disappear.
"How, Ngga? Did we manage to find the rest?" asked Danu with her hands still holding her chest.
Alingga swallowed the saliva, she stared bitterly. After all they did not bring anything back, of course Danu already knows the answer.
"There is something strange about the house. We just left!" alingga said while patting Danu on the shoulder, he saw the disappointed look of his foster brother.
"I see, come in first we continue tomorrow morning!" danu replied to Alingga's story. He was a little relieved, the previous wast feeling disappeared along with their arrival.
The wind was still blowing, unceasingly raging. Striking the branches of the tree, breaking some of them. The rain started to fall, his specks dripping on the window glass, the air getting colder made them shiver a little.
The five of them huddled in the car, warming each other up as the bodies crammed together. Alingga who sat in the driver's seat awake last night, he could not close his eyes, staying up all night until dawn began to turn the dark sky to bluish white.
Before everyone woke up, Alingga was gone. He left those who were still struggling with dreams. Alingga headed to the place they had previously passed. When the morning of the place was not too creepy, the green scene was painted as far as his eyes could see. Tree trees lined up neatly pamper the eyes, watching birds coming out of the nest, until the rodents who began to run around on the branches of trees.
He began to see his goal, a classic-style house with a blackish brown color poking between the tight trees. Alingga saw the trail of her steps last night, she saw the courtyard of the house more clearly than she had seen before.
Sure enough he saw another trail that entered the house, the Snake's track trail up to several meters in length. The trail ends at the entrance of the house, with the rest of the land starting to dry on the wooden floor.
Alingga pushed slowly the wooden door, creaking for a moment, revealing a dark front room. Alingga hesitated a little, he hesitated, continued or returned without bringing an answer. His pity his soul felt called upon, he could not resist that temptation, a mystery that lay before his eyes.
His steps were full of caution, he could not let his guard down, in the enemy's nest every move towards the sword, ready to wield it at any time.
Alingga was back in the room with the door locked, she still could not finish the clue in front of her.
A woman stood behind Alingga, watching over Alingga's suspicious actions. Alingga also realized the presence of another figure besides himself, he was careful, pretending to not know and continued to translate the meaning written on the locked door.
"If it were you I would never open that door!" A hoarse voice suddenly sounded, Alingga turned to look at the figure of a woman wearing kemben and hair in a bun. Alingga was fascinated, the woman in front of her had an amazingly beautiful face, her face was smacking a smile, attracting Alingga to be even closer to the girl.
"Come on ." said the woman again with a widening smile.
Alingga said, getting closer and then wrapped in front of the woman. The woman looked satisfied, she gently stroked Alingga's head with her wiggly fingers. Alingga was getting lulled, drifting in the tender treatment of the girl. Whether bewitched or indeed Alingga has lost his mind, he is like a doll that obeys whatever the owner wants.
Suddenly, Alingga screamed. He pulled out a knife, swung at the woman.
"Damn Goddamn Devil!" The woman let her guard down, her chest slashed by the knife Alingga held. Black blood came out from a deep enough scar. The woman shouted, her voice shrill along with her body that retreated backwards. The woman changed shape, her skin was not as smooth as before, wrinkled and full of ulcers. His body gave off a foul fragrance with some already festering.
Alingga stood up, looking directly at the demon's original form. He chased her down a flight of stairs to the underground passageway, Alingga stopping right in front of the steps. He hesitates whether to follow the demon or find Lewung first. He brushed aside his ego, there were more important things he had to take care of, dealing with the demons would be endless, he did not want to get caught up in the game they created.
