Gondo Flower
Chapter 55: Gosib

Morning dew sticks to the window glass, cold air sweeps gently build workers who are still sleepy. They were milling around, doing their respective duties.

A worker carrying a bucket of water and a mop broom approached a sleeping man in one of the beds, gently asking him to leave, because the room will soon be occupied by new patients.

Danu gasped, hurriedly apologizing for sleeping there without permission. He left immediately, passing through the hallway until he arrived at the front yard of the hospital. As he remembered last night he was going straight to Laweh village. I don't know why it ended up there.

Danu leaves soon, he has an appointment with Alingga. However, before leaving he contacted his wife first. He explained why he couldn't go home last night. He also asked that his wife not have to worry about him.

The journey to Laweh village can be taken in half a day. The journey is indeed far, and the terrain is also not to be taken lightly.

Danu deliberately wanted to leave last night, but somehow everything went awry. Maybe he was exhausted, so he unconsciously slept in the room.

While on the road he stopped by for a while to buy breakfast at a small stall on the side of the road. He ordered a serving of rice with side dishes. The shop was small, but there were so many buyers. Most of them are transport truck drivers and travel drivers.

Danu sat in one corner, alone enjoying the dishes served by the stall owner. While in the middle of his meal, someone came to the stall. The burly man with the head of the plontos sat in a corner far enough away from where Danu was sitting. The man had a cut on his face that still looked red. He did not bandage it and immediately came to the stall.

After a while, the man ordered nothing. He just leaned back until someone from the direction of the door came to approach him.

The man who had just come was directly sitting next to the man with the head of plontos. They chatted, faintly Danu could hear what they were talking about. Their real talk was able to attract Danu's attention.

"I'm not going through that forest again!" said the burly man in an annoyed tone, he sipped a glass of water after finishing his speech. The man next to him with a thin stature still did not respond.

"The woman thought who she was" said the burly man again.

"It's definitely not a Human, a Demon or a demon, maybe!" replied The skinny man with a flat expression. He stared at the water in the glass.

"Did you remember the story of the Five Demons ruling Alas Ruwah?" asked the burly man, he spoke while leaning his body against the wall. The man's words made the friend next to him excited, he showed interest.

"Ratu Ranggas!"

"Well, there it is. If he is indeed one of the demon inhabitants of Alas Ruwah, why is he so far from his home?" ask the burly man again.

Danu who was at the very end of the table was still listening to their conversation, it was a coincidence that this kind of thing happened. He was involved with the users of black magic, then heard about the emergence of one of the demons in Alas Ruwah.

"It's strange, parents used to always tell this story to scare their naughty children. But, it turns out that the story is not just a myth."

" But I'm not sure yet. Just because he has great power, doesn't mean he's really the devil."

In between their conversations, Danu seemed to be unable to stand it anymore just by eavesdropping. He approached the two men to listen to their story more clearly.

"Mas, can I be here with you both?" Danu spoke as cordially as possible, he had to extract even more information from them. They looked confused, but quickly responded. The thin man invited Danu to join, while the burly man immediately fell silent without continuing the story again.

A few minutes went by in silence, and Danu tried to lure them back into telling stories.

"From the city next door, Mas. Coincidentally it has been subscribed here too, so all of you stop by to fill the energy." said the burly man. Danu is just a mangosteen, he still pulls the strings, fishing them with a bit of an approach.

"Well, it must be through Alas in the West. Not wedi, Mas?" (Well, you must have passed Alas in the West. Not afraid, Mom?) tanya Danu re-launched the question.

The two people looked at each other, they were still reluctant to tell her about it with a stranger. But Danu still hasn't given up. He tried to lure them again.

"A year ago, there was a truck driver passing through the Forest. Some say he met a snake demon. It's just a rumor, but who doesn't know that the forest is famous for its awesomeness." Danu started the story. Actually he just tells lies, maybe in this way they will be interested.

"Snake smile, Mommy?" ask the burly man.

Danu nodded, confirming the man's question. He managed to get them interested.

"Yes, Mom!"

"That means that the legend of the five demons of Alas Ruwah is really real."

Danu was speechless, why did they know about the legend. But, he did not want to look flashy by showing his knowledge. He pretended not to understand what the burly man said.

" The five demons?" ask Danu pretending not to know.

The two people looked at each other, after agreeing they finally told of their experiences while crossing the forest in the West.

"We were not at first sure. But, after hearing the story of Njenengan just now, I now become convinced that the one we met in the forest last night was the demon Alas Ruwah" said the man with a little whisper.

"Devil, Mas?"

"We met a woman in the forest. He walked from the North across the road where our truck was passing. At that time, I happened to drive, I just slammed the steering wheel to avoid the woman. " Danu heard the man's story carefully, he did not want to interrupt at all.

"Initially we thought only pigs were passing by. But, it turned out that we hit a woman. We panicked, the woman almost dying. But, when we turned around to lift her into the truck, the woman suddenly disappeared."

" Surprisingly, he appeared behind us. Dan—"

"And what?" ask Danu who is impatient.

"HE HAS A LIVING HAIR!"

"Hair can move, it can lengthen, it can do anything. Look at all the wounds on my face, these are all that this woman did. Her hair is like a knife!"

Danu was silent, he guessed wrong. He thought the demon that appeared in the forest was the snake demon. He's actually wrong. If what these two people told him was true, it meant that the demon sealed inside a mirror had been released. And right now, he was caressing someone's body, and swapping their souls. The owner of the body replaced him locked in the mirror seal.
