Gondo Flower
Chapter 29: A trip to the village

A black car split the path in a dense forest area, dry leaves that piled into the breeze as long as the car passed. A forest that was still beautiful before the illegal loggers warmed the sawmills. The sound of a car engine messing with a rodent's nap. No one welcomes the coming of Sharif and the others as if the whole forest hates the presence of the Men.

Sharif stared blankly out the window, a tree that stood firmly hypnotizing him in daydreams. Laras sat in the back seat guarding Zainal who was still unconscious, while the sharif he had to sit in the front seat next to the driver.

"Emmm.." The driver's thumping voice broke the awkward atmosphere inside the car. Sharif looked at the driver.

"Mas there's a family in Laweh village? I often go back and forth there nganter people who go home. But yeah it's a pretty tough field." The driver opened the conversation.

"No, we need to go there. He said there's a pretty famous shaman taking care of that magical thing." Answer Sharif origin.

"Well shaman yes," The driver seemed to understand what Sharif meant. "You can know what the problem is mas kok sampe nyari nyari shaman." Further again.

Syarif was reluctant to answer the driver's question, but he also felt bored if he just stayed without a conversation.

"It's mas temen I have a use." Syarif said as he looked towards the back seat.

The driver seemed to understand him, he saw Zainal's body from the glass attached in front of him.

"How long is that?"

"Well, from last night we have not woken up, we have brought to smart people in the city still not healed. This we get info he said in the laweh village there are quite famous shamans, there is no harm in trying." Obviously Sharif was at length, even though everything he said was just a lie. Where might Sharif tell the real problem to a stranger.

"I haven't heard the news, but if it's true there are yes better at trying. Because medical also can not cure this kind of disease." The driver replied plain.

"O yes mas, until how many times kedesa laweh. The news was not long ago the village of laweh rather not safe."

"It's not safe how you are." Ask syarif. Laras who sat in the back seat only listened to their conversation while closing his eyes.

"It's less clear the news. Some say on the bridge near the border plas ruwah found many bodies floating in the river." The driver explained the conditions circulating among the public. The barrel who had not cared about their conversation began to be a little interested in what the driver said.

"What's the life? Sampean knows where this news comes from?" Tanya Sharif repeated.

" I'm a mas driver, my customers gossip a lot." Obviously the driver again.

Syarif looked at Laras in the back seat, the barrel did not speak in the slightest but was silent he analyzed his own inside his brain.

"That's the news when ya mas, it's like I missed the info again." Syarif tried to urge the driver to give more information to him.

"How is that possible?"

" It's less clear, too."

"This sample from earlier is less clear info is less clear but the story is smooth." The driver glanced at Sharif while chuckling.

"Yes not clear info, still rumors. Some say the corpse had the same wound . Pretty big puncture wound in the chest area."

Syarif looked confused by the driver's story, he glanced back towards the barrel. In contrast to Sharif, the barrel seemed to understand the driver's speech. If viewed from the beginning to the end there is the possibility of all this from Wijaya. But what makes the barrel confused, why the corpse was dumped near the base of the crater. Wasn't all this time Wijaya always hid her in a very secret place.

Not finished barrel thinks the driver is back to tell the story.

"Is it possible that the bodies were the victims of the slaughter hunters on Ruwah's pedestal? Alas ruwah is famous for such things."Sharif who heard the driver's remarks had suspicions against Wijaya.

"Sampean mas there is only. Yes, today there are still looking for pesugihan mas anyway?" Denying sharif pura does not understand, even though he himself is involved with such a family.

"His name is also a mas man, what age would be if his instincts like that yes still."

They had passed through the forest, the path had turned into a narrow and dusty village road. Several times the shaken car hit a hole big enough. Along the road is still very quiet, not seen a single house.

Their car drove through the fruiting corn field, the green landscape stretching along the right and left of the road. Syarif back down the window just to let the fresh air relieve his nausea.

"The oath of the dalan e nggae mumet." Grievous Sharif while holding something that is emerging up his throat. Face paled.

"Samplean mas's taboo?" Ask the driver while focusing on the road. Sharif shook his head in shame to admit it, but now his head is very heavy.

"In the meantime until the mas. indeed the road is a bit less pleasant to pass, this is still 2 kilos more damaged." Sharif was wide-eyed, he was not sure he was still able to hold for another 2 kilos, not to mention they had to go through several climbs and derivatives.

Syarif did not dare to say much more, he as much as possible sought a comfortable position so as not to aggravate his position.

The barrel sitting at the back was still silent, he stared flatly at the vast stretched cornfield. In the barrel view are many black shadows flying, the same scenery he had seen inside the Vijaya family residence.

Wijaya area is indeed quite broad, many people are so respectful. From the lower class to the mayor asked for help from Wijaya for his election success. Is it possible that his power reached this region, then is it possible that the wijaya would know if they were in this place?

No one knows for sure, they just hope the path they take is right. There was no other choice they could make. Laras looked at the black shadow out there, in his mind he remembered Alingga. Whether Alingga is able to complete his mission, or in the end they will all fail.
