Gondo Flower
Chapter 50: The Little Girl

Dew drips, wet grass in a forced crossbar by a young man who was running among the thickets. The forest reluctantly welcomes her, hiding her vegetation from human watches. He continued to run, occasionally jumping over fallen trees that had been eaten by moss. Fungus small fungus grows on the stem of a rotting wood stem, some are striking, some are interesting, but behind it is hidden a poison that can kill anyone who dares to touch it.

The path that the young man took was not easy, it was not that he was not afraid of wild animals. He was afraid, just like humans in general. However, there was something he was more afraid of than just his savage wild beasts. It would take him into darkness, tie his feet in chains, nail his hands with hot copper, and drag him until his skin peels.

Doni was forced to leave Sumi at the cottage. As the most trusted servant of Wijaya, of course he could not freely move. It would be very risky to take him before he really did apart from that family.

The tree that protected her from the sun almost reached its final limit, at the end of her view a bright light shone on the leaves of the mustard plantation. Doni sped up his run, passing through the garden to the housing at the end of the plantation land.

Doni's goal is still not achieved, he must deliver the pieces of the finger. The road he took is still a few hours away, if not immediately afraid Lasmi will send Juhri to hunt Sumi.

Meanwhile, Sumi, who was left alone, was just sitting with her legs dangling above a hut, she was enjoying the drops of rain last night. The smell of mud and green grass burst into Sumi's nasal cavity, fresh air that he had not been able to enjoy for a long time while living within the walls of the Wijaya family was now extending his eyes.

In front of him there were only shrubs and rows of wild trees of large diameter. The pillar grew solidly on the ground from the bloodshed. Its leaves are green with large branches that are strong to support squirrels squirrels who like to run around, white flowers fall on the muddy ground, the aroma is fragrant as doused litre perfume.

His silence attracted someone from behind a large tree, a brownish black hairy figure watching him since he left Doni alone in the hut.

The place was very far from the settlement, the existence of a hut in the middle of the forest became a big question mark in Sumi's mind. But bad thinking must be immediately he tepis, in addition to strengthening himself, he is also afraid of it becoming real.

Still silent in the daydream, the bush before her swayed, the sound of footsteps coming closer together with the growling sound of a savage beast. Sumi pulled her legs up— standing up, being alert while her eyes looked around.

Sumi was used to going in and out of the forest, whether at night or during the day. Many distractions he encountered ranging from wild animals to dark creatures that offer a covenant. Of course in this situation he is ready with all possibilities.

...***...

Danu walked down the aisle of the hospital, towards the outer courtyard of this hospital. Just a moment ago his fight with the creature was quite draining his energy. He looks pale, his eyes glare with a slightly sluggish body. Occasionally he gripped the collar of his shirt, removing one button until a little visible skin of his chest.

Danu leaned against a wall, her breathing slightly tight. One long breath becomes his provision to continue the step. Until arriving in the front yard, the parking lot was filled with four-wheeled vehicles and two wheels that were crammed into each other. Danu stepped up, towards a garden chair under a Ketapang tree. He sat down, sipping mineral water from the bottle he was carrying.

His eyes caught the figure of the little girl wearing a tosca-colored dress, standing near the entrance, staring expressionlessly at Danu. At first Danu did not care about the presence of the figure. However, the longer his soul felt called to approach. Just ask him who he is, or offer him an ice cream cone for him to enjoy.

Unfortunately the little girl did not want her, she turned around and ran into the hospital building. Danu stared at the nanar, he returned to his previous position, fiddling with the contents of his old cell phone.

When Danu was busy playing with her mobile phone, the girl came back. However, this time he carried a piece of paper, standing before Danu, grasping the paper tightly. Danu put on a smile, trying to make the girl not freak out. Sometimes Danu does silly things to please some of the little kids she meets. Not without reason, he so wanted the presence of a child in his household. God is driving another. Until now he still has not got what he wants.

The girl gave a piece of paper that was in her grasp, the shabby paper Danu received with full question marks. Before the little girl left, she clasped Danu's hand tightly, stared with her teary eyes, and went to her mother who kept calling her from inside the hospital.

Danu stared at the little girl passing by, until she completely vanished from her sight. Danu slowly opened the given paper, there was only a picture and one word written there. The image full of scribbles formed a silhouette of a shadow with a sinister face. Danu was wide-eyed because in the picture he also saw someone who was in the middle of the shadow. While the written word cannot be read Danu.

The wind blew away the paper that Danu was holding, the fur of his crouching bristled.A uncomfortable feeling came his way, there was a concern that Danu himself did not know what. He stepped on his feet towards the hospital building. His footsteps were rhythmic, he walked in a hurry, sometimes a little run. Until the moment he arrived at the jasmine corridor, his heart seemed to stop beating. The scene before him could not be explained in words.

Along that corridor, stood dozens of pocongs of various shapes. Fulfill the Corridor like a Banana bump after being slashed. Danu smelled a foul odor that was very pungent, until the sound of gamelan and the song Gondo Kembang melodious sound. Danu was silent, his brain was frozen he could not use. He stared drifting in the sound of the canticle, faintly seeing Mas Yanto walking among the dozens of pocongs with a blank look, before his gaze darkened, then collapsed unconscious.
