Gondo Flower

Gondo Flower
Chapter 54: Empty

After passing through the plantation, Doni walked towards a forest opposite him. The garden was indeed in a few large forests, and some were known for their awesomeness.

In fact, he was still uncomfortable with his previous actions. But he felt his choice was right. Along the way his heart was not calm, he was worried if something bad happened to Sumi. That was why, he made this trip as quickly as possible, to shorten the time, and immediately return to where he left his.

While in the forest, the air he felt began to change. A dark aura enveloped every corner of this place. Doni himself has come several times with Juhri, they usually deliver the bodies of the bodies of Wijaya's victims.

Not without reason, the place is known for its awesomeness. Souls whose mortgages Vijaya never accepted with reality, they wanted to demand revenge. But even a strand of Wijaya's hair they could not touch. That was why, the fury on the soul soul enveloped this forest, making it a sinister place.

Doni was still running, several times his legs tripped, even mired in a hole. But with determination, he got back up, carrying his hopes that he had left far back there. He headed towards the paved road, the only road that passed through this forest. The road split the north and south, heading towards the town and a village near the plantation.

Doni's goal isn't to find a ride that goes down that road. But he wanted to cross, not far from the road, there was a hut, a bamboo hut where he put all the bodies.

Doni's efforts in fact were not in vain, he had arrived across the street. Just a little more, a few tens of meters ahead, he had already reached his destination. But, the trees before him were not welcoming, they were grim, hampering the pace of the bangs with their branches scattered.

From his point of view, the hut was already visible. The door is slightly open, with some of its roofs perforated. Doni approached, pushing a little unlocked door. His feet slowly stepped, entering the hut filled by a spider nest and the bird that was incubating its eggs. Doni saw the familiar box, there was the entrance to the secret room where they kept the bodies.

Doni opened the box with the key he was carrying. As Doni began to climb down the stairs, the box was closed, locked, unable to be opened without the key of his partner. Doni continued his steps, until he arrived at the bottom of the hole, and stared at a door with an engraved flower. Doni knocked several times, until his hand went numb. From inside the door slowly opened, revealing a man who already looked old.

The man allowed Doni to enter, leading him past the casket lined up along the left and right of their steps. Until arriving in the second room, there were several chairs and tables, and some bones that had been porous.

Doni did not feel stale anymore, he immediately expressed his intention to come to this place. Actually without him talking even the old man must have known the purpose of Doni, all who come to this place must deliver the Corpse. Doni handed him a package of black cloth which he kept, the man immediately accepted it and opened it. Inside the fold was a little finger covered in dried blood and black mud.

"Why is this?" ask the old man.

Doni lowered his head, stringing up words to explain something that made sense.

The person Doni was talking to still did not respond, he sat down on a wooden chair, then wrapped it again with the black cloth.

"Lee, kowe doesn't do anything!" (Laughter, you can't lie to Mbah!) the man said after seeing the finger cut. Doni who heard the man's words hurriedly knelt down, he begged for mercy for trying to deceive him.

"For Mbah, my goodness!"

"Wes no popo, grandma kuwi wes dadi your choice yo kelanne! Perkoro iki ben Mbah seng ngurus." (Us not papa, if it is your choice then continue! This problem let me take care of it.) said the man as he stared at the pinky piece.

"Kulo mboten wani - argue, Mbah! But, not ono dalan meneh." (I dare not argue, Mbah! But, there is no other way.) replied Doni who is still in a kneeling position.

" Wes wektune seng cagadek kudu collapses, wes sneak, Lee! Lungo o, will not help medot zinc rope ngiket your crew!" (it's time the standing pole should collapse, it's near, son! Go, I will help you break the rope that binds you!) said the man. He stood carrying a fold of cloth against a coffin that was still open.

The old man put the finger into the coffin. Doni who was still kneeling stood up, approaching the old man. Doni watched carefully, every action of the man against the cut of Sumi's finger.

The old man picked up a white cloth, put down each layer with a sprinkled flower. Up to the seventh layer, the man just closed the casket cover. On top of the chest the man lit a candle, put it on at some point, making the room even brighter.

Once everything was ready, Doni asked permission to leave. He went back through the hallway, arrived at the door, then climbed the stairs to the mouth of the hole.

As he exited the hut, it was completely dark. He realized that Sumi had been dead for hours. He panicked, hurriedly stepped. In the darkness he ran between the pillars of the tall trees. There were sounds of insects, and some of the sounds of night animals. He no longer cared what he stepped on as he ran. Because in his current mind, just how do I get to Sumi's place as soon as possible.

Moments later he arrived at the plantation, the mustard expanse exposed to moonlight, accompanied by thousands of stars, the moon helped Doni clarify his vision. Until he entered the forest again. The forest where he died last time. The moon said goodbye, watching as Doni's back was consumed by darkness, completely disappearing.

Doni was actually unsure of this, whether Sumi was still waiting for her in that hut. But seeing the condition of Sumi who was pregnant so, Sumi also could not walk too far. Moreover, the content is still very young, he is worried that there will be problems if Sumi is too exhausted. Her guilt grew even more, when she found the hut where she left Sumi looked empty. There was no one there, silent, no answer when Doni shouted Sumi's name several times.
