Chapter 58: Falling

The radiant sunlight started the day, a breeze began to blow between the trees. Inside the forest a thin fog blocked visibility, accompanying the young man on his search mission.

Sumi endured the pain, the wound on her body felt sore when touched by the night wind. His cold air lowered his body temperature, his feet were frozen, his hands were numb. He stared at his pitch-black surroundings, his visibility darkened.

In the middle of such a forest, who could he expect. Sumi was only relying on herself, she remembered her content, it was no longer painful, her tiny hand caressed gently on her stomach, at least there was someone who strengthened her in a moment like this.

Sumi walked limped, with swelling in her legs, her movements could not be faster. He also could not have climbed the steep slope, the only thing he could do was to trace the valley where he was now. The door creaked, slightly opened. Appears a middle-aged woman with a full body standing before Sumi. The woman fell silent as she saw a young woman with a chaotic appearance knocking on her door. However, he immediately brought Sumi in and re-locked his house in a meeting. Sumi was a little confused, why did this woman act so to him.

The woman took Sumi into a room, the light from the oil lamp illuminating the entire corner of the room. The woman asks Sumi to lie on the bed inside her. Sumi could only comply without asking the woman too much.

After Sumi lay down, the middle-aged woman left her in the room alone. He went through the door to the back. A few moments later he returned, carrying a bucket of warm water. Sumi immediately woke up when the woman returned, she stared in confusion at the woman's behavior.

"This, cleaned first, then change your clothes to the one on the table! Outside it's dangerous! Why can you wander in the woods at night like this." said the woman while putting a bucket of water. He moved away from Sumi who was washing her body with water.

After Sumi finished walking out with the rest of the water in the bucket, she wanted to put it outside. But, the woman forbade her from moving much. He returned to Sumi to lie on the bed.

"Thank you, Ma'am." Sumi said in a soft tone.

"You take a break, Ma'am, get the medicine in the back for a second!" After speaking, the woman left. Carrying a bucket of water and Sumi's dirty clothes. Sumi laid her body, her legs getting swollen, she had trouble moving her body. Before, he did not feel this pain.

Sumi saw her swollen legs, she touched her. Unfortunately he only realized, right near his ankles, a twig the size of a lid stuck to the invisible end. Worth the swell, if not immediately removed, the next day the wound will definitely fester and make Sumi can not walk again.
