Gondo Flower
Chapter 56: Reasons

A warm light shone, a bright morning was greeted with the chirping of a Murai bird and the whining of a broken twig. The green foliage absorbs sunlight, processing photosynthesis to be channeled throughout the body. Nature is happy, welcoming new hope. Likewise with Alingga, his face was sumringah since he climbed the front court of the wooden house.

Before sunrise Alingga was no longer home, he went out to the village border with Alas Ruwah. This village is indeed close to Alas Ruwah, separated by a bridge and a stretch of weeds and shrubs. Far ahead there, grew the vegetation of the forest where the demonic devil was residing.

It is located right behind this village. Actually there are several more villages flanking the Forest, in the south bordering the village of Kalipuro, in the southeast there is the village of Karangjati, and in the west in the village apit Grobogan. While Laweh village itself, the only remote village in the entire Regency.

Seeing the geographical condition of Alas Ruwah, Wijaya may come to Alas Ruwah through the village of Grobogan whose position is closer than his residence.

The forest is quite vast, stretching over unspoiled land. Anyone who dares to disturb the forest, just stepped on his feet has all been made razor-sharp by his waiters. That's why, this forest in the rumus is very haunted.

Alingga stood at the side of the bridge, staring at the thousands of trees before her. Since the sun has not yet risen he has been there, dispelling the cold air with a blanketed sarong with a box motif. Alingga bit her lower lip, in her eyes the forest was like a hell. Irregular shapes filled every corner of the place. A black aura enveloped until the sunlight was unable to penetrate it.

In the middle of his daydream someone came to his approach, the man with a slightly filled body. The man was Juhri, he was wearing clothes last night that in some parts looked torn. He came with a dirty appearance, no matter what he did last night until his body looked apprehensive.

"My job is just a little, right?" juhri asked right next to Alingga. The two of them stared at Alas Ruwah with an unreadable expression.

"Don't talk like we're friends!" alingga said without looking at him.

Juhri turned her head, smiled slightly, then looked back at the trees.

"Far inside, there was a wooden house. It was always crowded to visit. Some great men who serve him to the Queen Ranggas. They are united, but unfortunately greed rules their hearts. They kill each other, trying to be the only ones in power." Juhri began to tell stories about the past of Alas Ruwah, and a wooden house that they used to make a ritual place.

Alingga was silent, not responding to Juhri's story. He didn't want to talk to that person.

"Until the end, only Wijaya and Darmoloyo remained. Ki Sedo and Sardi made a pact, no more bloodshed between them. But, dear Adhitama, his only son broke the treaty. He killed the entire Darmoloyo family, leaving only one Laras. All the servants of the Wijaya family know this story, the jerk continues to force me to clean up his dirty deeds!"

"If you know he's a jerk, you shouldn't obey him!" alingga said in a cold tone, he hated the actions of Juhri.

"Do you have a family? How does it feel if someone you love is wiped out in front of your own eyes?" Alingga turned her head back, looking at Juhri with a different gaze than before.

"My entire family has been wiped out by Wijaya, only me and my only daughter are left! Every time I failed to do a task, one of my family's lives drifted, and now I don't want to even touch a strand of her hair. Congratulations to him! I will pay for all my sins! In fact, if you ask me to die, I'm ready! I'll do that." Juhri pleaded with Alingga, her eyes slightly puffy as she told him about her only daughter.

Alingga was a little shaky, though not responding to Juhri's words, in her heart she also felt what Juhri felt. He knows what it's like to lose someone he loves so much, let alone his blood family.

Alingga left Juhri who was still busy wiping away her tears, she walked on the gravel path. When he was far enough away from the bridge, he stopped, turned his body, looking at Juhri who was still crying bitterly. He understands the feelings of a Father who is afraid of losing his Daughter, in fact, he is willing to do anything so that his daughter can survive.

Without feeling it, the sadness he endured slowly spilled over. The tears flowed freely from her reddened eyes, soaking her cheeks that had not been touched by water. Juhri managed to remember her on past events.

Alingga who looks strong also has a weak side, when the side is hit, he will falter, even destroyed. However, when you are in that position, get back up, show weakness is not a barrier that will hinder your steps.

After finishing with his grief, Alingga continued on his way. He wiped away the tears that were still left, he did not want to make a furore, especially if Sharif saw it. Small problems will be big.

Still on the streets, the surrounding population had started to move as usual, some women passed by, and the men had usually gone to his private garden in the North of the village. When passing someone, Alingga greeted him without looking reed. He is friendly, although it looks stiff and a little old-fashioned, but Alingga has a good heart.

Alingga arrived in front of the house, still no one saw the move. Syarif is not visible, naturally he is a little difficult to wake up early. While Mbah Ladi early in the morning has gone to his garden. Alingga entered the house, arriving in the front room. There, Zainal was sitting with his legs bent, he was still closed, sleeping in a sitting position. All night he guarded Laras. In fact, when Alingga came out at dawn, he still did not close his eyes.

Meanwhile from the outside someone came, wearing all-black clothes that looked dirty. Juhri sat on the porch of the house, examining her injured leg. A 5 centimeter wound adorned his leg. He just wrapped it with a makeshift cloth. When he opened the wound, the blood had stopped coming out, the reddish flesh Juhri gave medicine from a small bottle.

As the droplets of liquid in the bottle were touching his incision wound, Juhri whimpered. He stuffed his own mouth with a piece of wood, he screamed, and he dug it to endure the pain. When finished he coated it with grass before wrapping it back with a cloth. Meanwhile, Alingga observed Juhri's every move from the door, his face expressionless, before he finally left whatever Juhri was doing there.
