This morning, Gendis was time-hunting. Though he had tried to get up as early as possible, so as not to prepare everything. Today at half-eight in the morning, she has a state college entrance test.
"Mas, this is Mas Bram's shirt. I'm going downstairs to prepare breakfast for Mas Bram" said Gendis, looking a little anxious. There was no breakfast together as usual this morning.
"Darling, don't rush! Mas sure you won't be late." cried Bram when he saw his wife's lightning steps leaving the room.
Bram was wearing the work shirt Gendis had just bought yesterday. The light blue shirt made him look different.9 The man who used to wear the dark color immediately put on his shirt when he heard his wife's screams to come down immediately.
"Jeez, Ndis-Gendis. Just entering the test was that sweet." murmured Bram who came in haste. By grabbing the phone and car keys, Bram went straight downstairs.
"Honey, no problem late a little. anyways yesterday we've seen your room so it doesn't have to be that sweet." said Bram who walked over to his wife who now put the box of supplies for Bram in a paperbag.
"Mas will anterine until the room! I have no friends so lack confidence." pinta Gendis who was ready to leave.
"Yes later, Mas inter arrived in front of his room." replied Bram by drinking his coffee with all gulps.
They leave together. Bram set off early in the morning to take Gendis first.
"Not so hard, after all, not going to public universities is also not a problem!" said Bram who has since glanced at the face of his wife who stiffened.
Gendis only let out a weak breath. Then splash his ripe lips to make Bram smile angrily reply.
The car entered the gate where there were already many people passing by. In fact, many cars parked irregularly along there is a place to sit because of the many immigrants from outside the city who drove their daughters to take the entrance exam to the state university.
Gendis and Bram get out of the car. The two walked towards the building where the test sequence number that became Gendis' identity was located.
"Mas, I'm less!" whispered Gendis by holding the sturdy arm of the man who was now walking beside her confidently
"Look down, honey." Bram replied trying to calm Gendis down. The man changed to hold his wife's small hand towards the room at the very end of the second floor.
Bram is very special. What has been said is able to reassure and energize the positive woman who is now walking with her.
"Sir Bram." said a man who was passing by the two.
"How are you?" bram asked despite smiling faintly but Bram's tone of voice sounded so flat.
"Well" replied the man who looked about the same age as Bram.
"What interest did Mr Bram get here?" continued Rama who entered the ranks of the organizers of the entrance examination of state universities.
"Wife's Nganter took the test." Bram replied making the man in front of him unsure, he again noticed Gendis who was still hugging Bram's burly arms.
"Seriously? Does it mean not being with the old one? " The question posed by the man who still carries some of the files makes Gendis instantly bad mood.
Although it is not new anymore intersect with the story of her husband's past. But, still she was not happy to hear her husband who was still connected with Seruni.
"Maybe not a soul mate, sir. Oh yeah, I'll go in there first!" said Bram while showing the room where Gendis conducted the exam.
The man who became the center of attention of people around him was trying to avoid discussion about himself and Seruni. He did not want Gendis to re- sulk because of her past story.
"Darling, Mom, stay! Later if you just go home for a taxi message." said Bram after sounding the bell in rang.
"Today, Mas's schedule is very busy." continued Bram.
"Yes, Mas." replied Gendis then kissed her husband's hand as he was about to enter the room.
Seruni now walked quickly to Bram before the man she had always admired got into the car.
"Mas Bram." call Seruni to make Bram stop his steps and turn towards Seruni.
"You're here too?" ask Bram by playing his car keys.
"There is a little business, Mas." said Seruni.
"Oh yes, this school year I will also teach at the Mas Bram campus. Just, I teach at the faculty of Industrial Engineering." Seruni told Bram with pleasure.
The girl was still the same, nothing had changed in Seruni even though their relationship was no longer the same as it used to be. That is what makes Bram calm about his relationship with Seruni.
"Well congratulations, Run." said Bram by reaching out to Seruni.
"Only flying lecturers, not permanent lecturers like Mas Bram." continued Seruni.
"Just the same! The faculty of industrial engineering is a little far from where the faculty of mechanical engineering is." continued Bram.
Among their chatter that looks fun. Every now and then, Bram glanced at the circular watch on his wrist. Soon, he has class.
"Run, Mas, just stay! This morning I have class." said Bram.
"Please, Mas." Seruni replied with a smile at Bram's departure.
The girl looked at Bram's car that was flying away from her gaze." Destiny always brings us together, Mom! I hope one day we will get back together." said the girl who could not move on from a Bramasta Dewangga.
At half-time, Gendis finished the exam on her first day. Regardless of the result he has resigned, most importantly for him he has tried to learn to the maximum. Although, Bram occasionally bothered him.
The sound of his stomach was already charging. The provisions he brought were left behind in Bram's car. The girl who was now flanking the cloth Tote bag also stepped quickly down the stairs.
"Gendis, wait!" call Nita, the girl who had met Gendis while in the room.
Gendis stopped his steps. He waited for the thick-eyed girl who ran a little towards him.
"Would you like to go home?" nita asked as the two stepped together.
"Yes, but my stomach is hungry." replied Gendis.
"But you can do all that?" nita continued by looking at the sweet face next to her.
"Could anyway. But, not sure my answer is correct." continued Gendis. While chatting they had reached the ground floor.
"Nit, buy some junk first yuk!" ujak Gendis when he saw the siomay handyman sangkal in front of the campus area.
"Corn. You'll be picked up?" ask Nita. This morning the girl had seen Gendis among a man.
"I want to take a taxi." said Gendis then they walked to the siomay handyman. Order two servings and then sit on a long bench next to the carpenters wagon.
"So who won't you your brother, huh?" guess Nita. Because the girl felt there was a resemblance between Gendis and Bram.
Gendis smiled, unable to answer what her new friend was asking. It felt strange, if she had to say that at this age she was married and the man who drove her this morning was her husband.
