Gendis, Love on the Brink of Boundaries

Deska laughed out loud when she saw her best friend holding her head that felt dizzy after telling her the problem with Seruni and Gendis.

"Lo, do you know the sin of married people cheating until adultery?"

"That's a double sin Bram." continued Deska. Sejjak Bram shared his feelings between Gendis and Seruni, the mature brown-skinned man did not like what Bram did. But, he did not want to interfere too far in Bram's affairs.

"If it is to commit adultery the person will get the sin of Zina and the sin of hurting his partner." continued Deska. Although, not as alim as the scholars but a little Deska know the outline of religious law.

Deska was silent and she stared at the man in front of her. Just this time Bram looks like this mess.

Gendis enjoyed Ice Cream by sitting on an iron chair on the side of the road. The road in front of him was not crowded, but he hoped to repel his current uneasiness.

One box of ice cream he almost spent alone. But, it has not been able to make his heart cool because of his problem with Bram. Instead, every bribe that entered his mouth actually made him miss his papa.

"Papa Gendis is tired!" he murmured in the heart. Still holding an ice cream box on his lap, his gaze glared far ahead.

Papa and his mother's shadow continued to loom. His life was perfect with both of his parents.

"Can I be with you?" that voice broke the daydream of Gendis. The girl then turned her head towards the tall figure who was now standing beside her.

"Please Mas Zayn." said Gendis while nodding. Gendis felt a sense of unease every time she saw Zayn.

"Thank you for the groceries yesterday, Mas. Sorry I haven't been able to cook Mas Zayn lunch, as a thank you." continued Gendis.

"No problem, I can charge it later." Zayn replied with a smile. His gaze did not shift from Gendis until the girl became misbehaved.

Gendis. Actually, he wants to be alone. The mood today was not good. And many things were troubling his mind.

Zayn was still staring fully at the sight of the girl next to him. Not without reason, the usually energetic Gendis also looks moody.

"Mas Zayn, how come it's here?" tanya Gendis broke the silence between them.

"I've met my colleagues at the 'Dream' restaurant." replied Zayn. That guy didn't lie. He also observed Gendis from the restaurant which was only a few meters away from where Gendis was sitting.

"There are no job openings, Mas, for High School graduates?" Hearing Zayn's colleagues and business affairs made Gendis think what if she asked Zayn for a job.

"For whom?" Finally the man who had now folded his shirt arm up to the elbow asked.

"For me, Mas. I need a job." Gendis's statement again succeeded in stopping Zayn's movement.

The man who had now been made curious also looked back at Gendis getting sharper. Question after question filled his head.

"What's up, Ndis?" a curious question came from the man who was very ready to help the girl who still lowered her gaze.

"I need a job, Mom."

"I know, but what's really going on?" zayn's question even made Gendis speechless.

Zayn knows Bram very well. Though he was with Bram like a mouse and a cat, he knew that Bram would not let his wife work.

"If Mas Zayn can't help it's okay." continued Gendis. He knows for high school graduates and limited skills it is not easy to find a job in this day and age.

Zayn chuckled at Gendis's words. In his heart of work, if Gendis wanted to, Zayn would gladly meet his needs.

"Where's your phone?" zayn asked with a hand out.

Gendis turned her head, then greeted Zayn's nod, "I'll keep your number, I'll call when you can work" said Zayn to make Gendis reach out his phone.

"I'm going to put you as my assistant" Zayn said as he put his number on Gendis' phone and made a call to his own number.

"But, I don't have the skills and my education is just SMU, Mas." - sergeant Gendis who felt he wouldn't be able to do it.

"You mean to be my assistant secretary and my secretary who will teach you. Not hard." continued Zayn then he stood up. If only there were no important meetings, he would definitely choose to sit down with Gendis until the girl got bored. But, this meeting made the man have to leave.

"I have to go. Will you stay here or will I take you home?" ask Zayn.

"I'm here, Mom. I will be able to take a taxi home." replied Gendis.

"Alright, careful! If you need help just call me." Gendis just nodded.

Zayn also walked to his car, sometimes he said. If only she wasn't someone's wife, if only she had met Gendis first. The girl who increasingly looks special in the eyes of Zayn, to make the man who now enters his car was even more heartbroken.

"I wonder what his wife is like, Bram. Or maybe Bram is already in love with his wife?" areta continued to make Seruni more upset. All this time, he always got what he wanted, he also always envied others. Beautiful, classy and smart.
