Gendis, Love on the Brink of Boundaries

The Worst Morning

Bram himself was struck by a feeling of anxiety that was so great, even his brain was no longer able to think well when remembering the sentence Gendis who wanted to separate. The sentence continued to ring even though several days had passed.

Either it was a bluff or it was basically the girl's true desire. Bram could no longer speculate. The man who was completely agitated by his guilt was waiting for Gendis to get out of the room.

Ever since that incident, Gendis gave a very clear distance to him. There was something that made him shy away from Bram when the man was still at home.

Today Bram does have a loose time because his teaching hours fall during the day after lunch. So, he hoped that today he could talk to Gendis in a good way.

"Yes Dek Ambar, God willing." said Gendis with a cell phone attached to her ear as she passed Bram who had been sitting on a long sofa located between the room and the kitchen.

Ambar asks Gendis to come for his birthday next week. Ambar's birthday was not held as usual. Because, they will only eat dinner together with close relatives.

After closing the call from Ambar, Gendis began her activities after the Fajr Salat which is taking care of the kitchen, as usual. The girl who still felt her heart hurt was indeed reluctant to look at Bram, let alone talk to the man who was currently staring at her.

The man who was now linking his hands resting on both thighs only stared at Gendis who was starting to cook. He was also confused where to start. He thought after a few days Gendis' attitude would soften on him but the truth was that the boy was too good at silencing people.

"Tin... Kegs. Ting.tong.." Bram hasn't been able to get to Gendis. The sound of the bell made the man immediately step up to open the door.

"Seruni." looks like the girl is already standing with a formal look.

"Mas, I deliberately stopped by before going to campus." Seruni replied as she walked in past Bram who was stunned because she did not expect that Seruni would come to the apartment this early.

"I brought you, Mas Bram breakfast."

"I happened to pass in front of our chicken satay seller. So I brought you all for Mas Bram." Seruni explained then walked to the dining table to put the food.

Bram was still speechless, he just did not expect that Seruni would come to his apartment after he explained things. He also now spends a lot of time, when Seruni asks to be accompanied in the girl's apartment after Bram teaches.

The dining room is not adjacent to the kitchen, making Gendis easily see their closeness. Seruni seemed to be serving Bram at breakfast, while the man who was only silent had a few times to look at Gendis who was still cooking vegetables.

Gendis no longer cares about them, she will only play the role. Yes, if it is considered only a household assistant, he does not care. Although, he still felt pain in his heart.

Gendis brought a bowl of cooked soup and three pieces of fried chicken to put on the table. He did not care, if the two people who were having breakfast were distracted because of his actions.

"You were intentional?" seruni protested when Gendis placed a bowl of hot soup near her arm.

"Isn't the dining table for putting food?" asked Gendis with a sharp look at Seruni.

"Bas rude!" seruni grunts were still heard by Gendis.

"The disrespectful man came to see you early in the morning. He said he was educated but didn't know the time" Gendis replied, making things heat up.

"Basic, girls don't know themselves. Already picked up still rumbling." snapped Seruni by slamming his spoon, he felt his pride slammed desperately.

"Still mending a girl more than an actor!"

"Shelves..." Bram breaking table. The man was already irritated by the quarrel of the two women in front of him.

"Run, Mas, please be patient! Gendis is still unstable." pinta Bram when Seruni had stood up to fight Gendis.

"But, Mas. He has insulted me. Though he's the one who enters our relationship." reply Seruni. He did not accept being called an actor by his rival.

"Ndis, Mas, please understand the position of Seruni." pinta Bram. His head felt like it was going to break when the two women fought against each other with strength.

"Let's go, drop down, Run! We'll talk about this later." take Bram who wants to separate the two women's quarrels.

Bram embraces Seruni's shoulder, she slightly forces Seruni to leave her apartment. He knew everyone was hurt by the decision.

Gendis stared at the two figures who left the apartment. The girl then sat on the chair with her heart that was actually shapeless.

"Why should the road be like this?" gumam Gendis's. He himself was still worried, his heart filled with endless dilemmas. It should have come here he ended it all, or had to endure it until a Bramasta threw it away.

He regained consciousness, if he did not know where to go back to if it ended all. It wasn't easy for Gendis to end it all, let alone Bram still not willing to let go of it just like that.

Gendis took her phone and her bag. She needs oxygen to break down the tightness in her heart.

The sweet girl who had styled her long hair stepped out of the apartment.

The little leg continued down the street not far from the apartment. Sometimes he saw shops that were still closed and only a few were open.

"Snake!" The baritone's voice made Gendis stop her steps. The girl was looking for someone who called her.

"Mas Zayn." muttered Gendis by looking at the man who was neat with his work shirt and his pantofel shoes.

"Where are you? Let me take you." bargained Zayn who had already noticed Gendis walking.

"I just want to get some fresh air" replied Gendis.

Zayn simply smiled, he had already started reading the state of Gendis. Gendis' eyes can no longer be hidden from Zayn's eye.

"Your husband is dropping off the female lecturer." continued Zayn. He did see Bram driving a Seruni car towards the girl's campus.

"I don't want to go far, Mas." replied Gendis, if she goes with another man, it's not much different from Bram.

"Well, let's just sit here!" Take Zayn when you see a long chair made of iron not far from their position.

Both also enjoy the atmosphere of the morning by seeing the vehicle that began to pass by.

"Maybe you need something sweet" Zayn said, holding out a chocolate bar .

"I didn't put poison in it." continued Zayn as Gendis still fell silent and looked at him.

Finally Gendis took a piece of chocolate and put it in her mouth. He only wanted to appreciate Zayn who already cared about him.

"Sometimes we need something sweet, when life is bitter" Zayn said, making Gendis look back. The man with a sharp nose smiled as he caught the beautiful eyes of Gendis.

"Maybe what Mas Zayn said has a point." welcome Gendis.

"Including, looking at your sweet smile, Ndis." Zayn's tease made Gendis just smile. The two also exchanged smiles to erode the awkwardness between them.
