Chapter 9. Don't Remember the Past

Ega, still fun to exchange words with someone who is in front of a mobile phone that is different from him. While engrossed, she was startled by Nina's voice asking.

"Oh yes Ga, have you not moved on from Ivan? All this time I've never seen you with the same guys other than our five best friends" said Nina asked. Nina seemed to be reminiscing about Ega's past.

"It is enough that they are close to me, if more afraid of being confused which one to listen to," answered Ega accordingly.

"Well, what did I answer? I didn't expect such an answer she wanted a happy answer," Nina said, slipping her hopes there.

"Alhamdulillah if you are not traumatized. I was wondering why Ivan left you and married someone else, what's the story, anyway?" asked Nina curiously. He does not know the reason Ivan ended his relationship with Ega and prefers to marry another Girl.

Ega hesitated to answer him, just as he reopened his wounds that had been bandaged by his obstinacy. The incident had happened a long time ago and during that time Ega tried to rearrange his life that had fallen. He tried to heal his wounded heart though not as whole before knowing love.

"It's Nin, it doesn't need to be discussed anymore.it's been a long time!" reply Ega refused to tell it.

"Oh Ga, I want to know. All this time I've cursed Ivan every time I remember that incident. It was like chopping that Ivan. Let the light strike I want to know what really happened. The car was repaired but long enough the mechanic in the Workshop completed his task as if buying time. Unsuspecting Ivan waited patiently when Ivan had waited so long. In the end, the car was repaired, but it was so late.

Ivan continued the journey to take his employees, but after arriving at the girl's house it was late at night. Of course it makes the girl's parents angry. The parents of the girl did not accept that her son came home that late let alone delivered by a man. Ivan is forced to marry the girl, otherwise he is not allowed out of the village. This is the rule of the village, if it is late to return from a limited time it must be married. Ivan has explained that he already has a future wife soon to be married. Ivan also explained that he was only helping his employees.

The girl's parents wouldn't listen to Ivan's explanation. The Girl's parents called the people to intimidate her into marrying her daughter. Seeing the citizens who came to the girl's house and yelled at her to want to take responsibility and marry the girl she delivered. Ivan could not do anything, let alone see the citizens had already surrounded him. Ivan only resignedly accepted the rice, especially not allowed by the residents to leave the village. The girl had planned everything. He likes Ivan, but Ivan never cares."

If it is too late at night then Nina will step into the House of Ega to avoid society's expectations.

Nina embraces Ega with warmth, she is lucky to have such a good friend who is always on standby to help her. .

" I'm laper, no food, Ga?" juna asked looking at Ega expectantly.

"I'm fine, just exhausted. Don't worry Ga," replied Juna warmly. He knew his best friend must be watching him. Only Ega, that girl was able to detect quickly in case something happened to her. I don't know why their relationship is so close that their inner selves are sometimes connected.

"You take it easy, Brother is fine. You take a break!" sahut Juna calmed his close friend's heart.

"You're too worried, I'm fine. I was just a little soy. After eating and resting, God willing, tomorrow morning everything will improve" said Juna trying to calm the two Companions.

The girl silently walked out of her House towards Kost Juna which was located behind her House. Arriving at the Kost, the state of the gate is locked. The girl immediately climbed the wall, with a trained movement she managed to pass through the wall and walked slowly towards the room of Kost Juna.

"Abang Juna, you're sleeping yet?" asked Ega in a soft voice afraid of waking the Host.

Juna who is still awake, I look forward to listening to the sound from behind the door. The voice was like familiar in his ears.

Juna looked at the sweet girl before him with such a deep gaze. His heart rumbled but tried to neutralize so as not to be heard by his Friend.

"Dec, thank you?" juna said with a smile. When they are both, then Juna will call Ega with the call of Adek although not as often. I don't know why there is a comfortable feeling that he feels when he is close to Ega. Juna realizes that feeling is not the feeling of an adult male to the opposite sex. That sense leads more to a brotherly relationship. Yes, Ega considers himself his Brother, he also thinks Ega is his sister even though the debate he believes is not only limited to friendship. Juna is not yet willing to admit what is felt because the past does not allow him to have a sense.

"Again rest," said Ega immediately shifted to take the clean cloth he carried and dyed it in warm water. Ega squeezed it and then attached it to the Man's armpit to compress it.

He was about to lay down beside Juna but was undone because Juna was not ready for him. He went outside after making sure Juna had improved and his body temperature had returned to normal. Carefully Ega came out of the Kost Juna Room so as not to disturb his deep sleep. He left the Territory over that wall again.
