Bribing Wife

Beverly and Henry reached the hotel where they were staying. Their bodies are now soaked in rain.

"Henry, put me down!" Pinta Beverly to her husband as they arrive at the hotel lobby.

"I'll carry you up to the room" Henry paid no heed to the gazes of those who were now staring at them.

"Henry, I'm ashamed!" Beverly drowned her face in Henry's back.

"You embarrassed? All right, I'll speed it up. Ngengs... Ngeng.." Henry mimicked the sound of a motor while moving his hand movements like he was riding a real motorbike. While Beverly just laughed at her husband's silly behavior.

After they entered the room, Henry immediately took a towel from his suitcase. He slipped the towel over Beverly's body.

Henry stared at Beverly's face as he wiped her face with a towel. Beverly looked at Henry's smiling face looking at her.

"Why do you look at me like that?" Beverly rubbed Henry's face slowly.

"No. I just wanted to say that you're so beautiful" Henry still looked at Beverly with a smile.

"Tumben once you praise me," Beverly pursed her lips.

"Aren't you supposed to praise your own wife? Oh yeah, you better take a shower now. Change your clothes!" Send Henry gently.

"alright. I take a shower first" Beverly brought her towels and clothes and went into the bathroom.

15 Minutes later Beverly went out of the bathroom. Then Henry immediately went into the bathroom to clean his body.

After finishing with the bathing ritual, Henry immediately walked closer to Beverly who was lying on the bed. Carefully, Henry laid his body beside Beverly.

"Bev?" Call Henry in a voice so soft. He tilted his body and hugged Beverly from behind.

"Bev?" Call Henry back. He began to smell Beverly's hair from behind.

"Bev?" Henry felt awkward because Beverly was just silent. Henry woke up his body.

"Bev, are you okay?" Henry asked worriedly. He immediately turned Beverly's body against him. Henry touched Beverly's face.

"Geez, Bev! Your body is hot!" Henry exclaimed frantically as he felt Beverly's body temperature was extremely hot.

"Henry!!" Call Beverly weakly. His face looks pias.

"Bev, I'm sorry! I'm taking you down in the rain, "Henry feels so guilty for making Beverly sick. Beverly did not answer. He closed his eyes to try to neutralize the dizziness in his head.

Henry immediately took the hot water and compressed Beverly's forehead with the hot water.

"Henry, are you trying to kill me? It was so hot!" Beverly grumbled with a weak voice.

"Sorry, I don't think it's hot. The bev? You could be sick too?" henry said as he continued to compress his wife's body.

"of course. You think I'm not human?"

"Even when you're sick, you're still so fierce" Henry said with a hint of laughter on his lips.

"Bev, how does it feel to be sick?" Henry asked Beverly.

"Your question is so worthless! If I'm healthy, I really want to shake your head!" Beverly grumbled back still by closing her eyes.

"Do you really want to shake your husband's head?" Ask Henry back. Beverly was silent and did not acknowledge her husband's words.

"Bev?" Henry patted his wife's cheek.

"Bev, you're still breathing, right?" Henry stuck his ear to Beverly's chest.

"I'm still breathing. You think I'm dead?" Beverly answered in a weak voice.

"I'm just making sure. I don't want to be a widower at such a young age."

No reply back from Beverly. It seems like his head is really very dizzy.

"Bev, shouldn't we go to the doctor?" Henry said with a worried look.

Beverly just shook her head slowly as a gesture if she refused with Henry's idea.

It was 2 p.m., but Henry's eyes were still awake looking at Beverly. When his wife's fever had gone down, Henry tried to close his eyes to fall asleep. Shortly thereafter, Henry was completely asleep in his sleep.

Beverly blinked her eyes to focus her gaze. He saw Henry sleeping beside him while hugging his body tightly. Slowly a smile was etched on Beverly's face. She was grateful to have a husband who was so attentive to her.

"You awake?" Henry rubbed his eyes.

"You see how? If my eyes open, I'm awake."

"Wah means you're cured now because your words have returned spicy like chili."

"Henry? Thank you for taking care of me all night" Beverly said sincerely.

"Yes. It should be. You're my wife. So I have to take care of you. Well then, I got off to meet the hotel clerk and ask for our breakfast to get to the room, "Henry immediately walked outside to look for the hotel clerk.

After seeing the hotel attendant, Henry reentered his room.

"Wait around! The hotel clerk will take our breakfast to the room" Henry said. Beverly's situation has improved.

Before long the hotel attendant came with two servings of breakfast.

"Has this food been sterilized?" Henry asked the hotel staff. He had to make sure that the food his wife would eat was safe and clean.

"Already, sir. We have also provided a wrap to avoid dust on the way to the master's room" replied the hotel officer.

"alright. Here's a tip for you" Henry opened his wallet and tipped the hotel clerk.

"Thank you, sir," said the hotel official sincerely.

Henry immediately brought the food towards his wife. Henry began to feed Beverly with the food in his hand.

"Open your mouth!" Henry brought a spoonful of food closer to his wife's lips.

Awfully, Beverly opened her lips. Beverly looked at Henry long ago, her whole life she had only been treated this sweetly by a man.

Beverly used to be too focused on chasing Kai until she did not want to open her heart to other men. After forgetting Kai, she likes Cleon, the man who doesn't love her. But now, her husband treats her very well even though their marriage happened because of her fault.

"Henry, do you regret marrying me?" Ask Beverly softly.

"Of course not. What am I sorry for?"

"You don't love me" Beverly said.

"Love? Actually love is simple if people don't make love complicated itself."

"meaning?" Beverly seemed to not understand.

"Yes. For example, we are married. Since we are married, we accept this fate well. Then, we try to open our hearts, so we can live a happy marriage. Didn't we?"

Beverly smiled at her husband's words.

"Would you open your heart for me?" Ask Beverly to make sure.

"of course. Yes, I have to open my heart to Chelsea or Alula."

Beverly laughed at her husband's words.

"Eat again!" Henry again feeds Beverly with the food on the plate.

"Again, again! Aaaaa, pinter daddy's son!" Henry exclaimed as Beverly opened her mouth.

"Henry, do you want to be a father soon?" Ask Beverly with her laugh.

"Yes. What if we do it now?" Henry asked that made Beverly choke right away.
