Safety Belt

Beverly was pondering inside her room. He lamented his fate for the second time having to fall in love with a man who did not love him.

"Why did this happen again?" Beverly wiped away the tears flowing down her cheeks. He remembers so vividly when Kai threw it away at prom night a few years ago.

"I really want someone as good as Cleon" Chelsea stared at the photo of Cleon she got from her social media accounts. Beverly took Cleon's handkerchief from her closet drawer.

Beverly smiled looking at the green tosca handkerchief. He recalled the time Cleon had treated the wound on his lips.

"Please give me a chance to get your heart!" Beverly stared at Cleon's handkerchief, which she was holding.

Today was the weekend, Cleon opened his phone and called Chelsea. He invited the girl to go to the cinema. Cleon wants to watch Toy Story 4, which is coming out in theaters today.

"I can't, Cleon. I do a lot of work in the boutique. Many are fitting wedding dresses today," so was Chelsea's answer when Cleon invited her to the cinema.

Cleon also understands the busyness of Chelsea. He decided to watch the film himself, because Cleon was so curious about the continuation of the adventure story Woody, Buzz Lightyear and friends. As Cleon opened the gate of his house, he saw Beverly coming into his car.

"Cleon, where are you going?" Beverly asked as she watched Cleon open the gate.

"I'm going to the movies to watch Toy Story 4" Cleon replied.

"really? I'm going to go see that movie too!" Said Beverly with her face.

"You're gonna watch with Chelsea?" Beverly.

"No. I'll watch it myself. Then let's watch together!" Bring Cleon.

"really?" Beverly was surprised to hear Cleon invite her to watch.

"Yes, I don't want to watch alone. It felt like it would be very strange," Cleon scratched his hair.

"May I ride into your car?" Ask Beverly carefully.

"of course. Come on!"

Beverly immediately walked to Cleon's courtyard. He immediately got into a Cleon car branded Land Ro*ver Ra*nge Rover sport. Before driving, Cleon first told Chelsea that he would watch Toy Story 4 with Beverly.

"Do you like this song too?" Beverly asked as Justin Bieber's song Let Me Love You echoed on Cleon's car tape.

"Yes. It's a song when I'm in love with Alula," Cleon smiled happily upon hearing the song. Cleon seemed to remember each of his encounters with Alula when he heard the song.

Beverly smiled faintly at Cleon's words. Beverly really did not understand who was now in Cleon's heart. Cleon's kind nature was very confusing, Beverly did not know to whom Cleon's heart was now anchored. Does Chelsea or Cleon still love Alula?

Cleon himself was still in the stage of forgetting Alula. He is the type of man who is difficult to fall in love and difficult to forget the woman he loves. Forgetting Amanda, Cleon tried very hard. Cleon loved Alula for six years. Cleon did not know how he felt right now. But Cleon is trying to love Chelsea like he promised the other day that he will soon forget Alula and accept Chelsea by his side.

Cleon laughed at Beverly's words.

"When we love someone we must not be selfish. If, happily Alula is with Kai, what can I do? I will not force my will. If I wanted to, I could force Alula and charge her promise to start everything from scratch with me. But I'm not that naive. The most important thing for me is to see Alula happy. Kai will take care of her, he loves Alula. Alula's heart for Kai isn't for me" Cleon explained.

Beverly shuddered at Cleon's words. So far the definition of love in his brain is to have the body of the person he loves intact, so that during this Beverly was willing to stalk Kai secretly. Beverly did that because she knew Kai at the beginning of the marriage didn't love Alula. Beverly could see on their wedding day.

"Bev?" Call Cleon who breaks Beverly's daydream.

"Why are you so eager to get Kai?" Cleon was curious.

"I loved him so much at that time. I was determined to get Kai back so I could show people that Kai still wanted me. I was so embarrassed at Prom Night" Beverly smiled bitterly as she recalled the night where she was humiliated by Kai in front of all her friends.

"But now I don't want Kai. I've removed this for him" Beverly continued.

"You must not be sad ! You'll get a better man than Kai," Cleon tries to cheer Beverly up.

"I wish that man were you."

They were silent and the atmosphere seemed silent because there was no more talk in the car. Not felt, the mall they were heading to was in sight. Cleon immediately directed his car to the parking lot in the basement of the mall.

"Come on!" Cleon said while removing the safety belt that was coiled on his body.

Beverly tried to open the safety belt that was coiled on her body, but the safety belt did not open. Cleon saw Beverly who was in trouble opening the safety belt. Cleon leaned toward Beverly.

Beverly gasped as her face and Cleon's face were very close together now.

"I'm sorry!" Said Cleon before opening the safety belt that was still coiled on Beverly's body. Beverly looked at Cleon's face from a short distance away. He watched every inch of Cleon's face carefully.

"It looks kind of stuck!" Tukas Cleon while he was still trying to open the safety belt.

Beverly's hand accidentally touched Cleon's arm trying to open the safety belt. They both looked surprised as their arms touched. Beverly and Cleon immediately sat in silence.
