Forced to Marry Alula

Forced to Marry Alula
Ill

"Bag darling!" Kai greeted Alula who had just come out of the house. Currently, Kai was carrying a tray containing food and also milk.

"You again!" Alula clucked slowly.

"Where are you going this morning?" Kai tried his best to attract his wife's attention.

Alula did not answer Kai's question, she immediately walked to the bench in the yard. Alula immediately sat down to enjoy the sunlight this morning. Alula must be diligent in sunbathing for the health of herself and the baby she carries.

"Just a second!" Kai kept a tray of food he was carrying next to Alula. Then Kai immediately ran towards the house he lived in. The house was right next to Alula's grandparents' house, which he bought to be close to his wife.

Before long, Kai came out again with a bouquet of rose pink flowers that became his wife's favorite.

"This is for you!" Kai gave the flower to Alula.

"I don't like that flower!" Alula answered not looking at her husband's face.

"You lied! It's definitely your favorite flower. Take it!" Kai thrust the flower into Alula's hand.

"I told you I don't like those flowers!" Alula raised her voice.

"You're usually very happy if I give you this flower" Kai still tried to get the flower he just bought to receive by Alula. Kai hopes that by kissing the flower, Alula can remember and reminisce about their romantic times in the past.

"That was then, now it's not!" answer Alula with a ketus.

"You sure you don't want to take it?" Kai is still trying to persuade Alula.

"You can't hear? I said no yes no!" Alula takes the bouquet from Kai's hand and throws it to the ground. Alula stepped on the flower with her feet.

"Patience, Kai. Be patient! It's not comparable to what you've done to her," Kai tried to spread his heart and tried not to get emotional.

"Then eat! I accidentally woke up so early to make Cheese Fondue. When we were on our honeymoon in Switzerland, you loved this food so much, "Kai brought a bowl of melted cheese and fresh fruits to be chipped into a bowl of cheese.

"Open your mouth!" Kai brought a spoonful of cheese and fruit to his wife's lips.

"I don't want to," Alula still looked forward and did not look at Kai who was beside her.

"You sure? I tried it already. It's so delicious!"

"I said no yes no. I've eaten."

"Well, if you don't want to eat. Drink this milk! This is a special milk pregnant women who I just bought last night to provide nutrition," Kai kept a bowl of Cheese Foundue that he made and took a glass of milk specifically for pregnant women.

"I'm not having a taste for milk" Alula refused.

"At least drink this milk for our baby! She needs nutrition" Kai spoke as gently as possible.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you so happy to force me?" Alula stared intently at Kai sitting beside her.

"I'm not forcing. I just want you to pay attention to your body's nutritional intake. For your health and our son."

"Our son? My son is not our son" Alula said with great care.

Kai was still trying to hold back his emotions.

"Then let's drink!" Kai pushed the milk back toward Alula's lips. Quickly, Alula brushed off the glass offered by Kai, so that the glass containing the milk fell and broke. Alula was shocked by what she had just done. This morning the mood was really bad.

Kai stood up straight from his seat.

"While you're mad at me, do you deserve to treat your husband like this?" Kai's eyes looked red.

"Kai, I mean-"

Kai immediately went and entered his house.

"Kai?" Alula called her husband.

"He's mad at me? Leave it!" Alula went back inside her grandparents' house.

Her night...

"Am I being too outrageous?" Alula rolled over on the bed remembering her treatment with Kai. He also wondered why it could be out of control like this morning.

Alula came out of her house. He looked at the house next to his grandmother.

"Is he asleep?" Alula looked at the house where her husband was.

"Why am I thinking about it? Her attitude towards me was much more cruel," Alula tried to shake off her guilt and immediately went back in to sleep.

****

"Kai, where are you going?" Alula looked at Kai's house from her bedroom window. The house looked empty and uninhabited.

Alula is disappointed that only Kai fought for her. Due to thinking too much about Kai, Alula became unfeeling with eating and sleeping. She felt great disappointment in her husband.

"Kai, why is it that when I give you a second chance, you let me back down?"

It's been 4 days, Kai hasn't shown his nose. This morning, Alula was vomiting violently. He experienced severe morning sickness, coupled with the absence of food and drinks further aggravated his condition.

"The heat has subsided" Anne touched Alula's forehead.

Alula also closed her eyes to fall asleep to divert nausea and dizziness in her head. At noon Alula just woke up from her sleep. He blinked his eyes when he heard the cutlery clinking.

"Kai?" Call Alula. He really wished Kai was here.

"It's grandpa. Drink up! For your body to improve. Don't torture your son! You have to eat and drink" Charlie kept a glass of milk and food on the nightstand.

"Grandpa and grandma go first to the garden huh?" You don't go anywhere."

"Yes cake" replied Alula briefly.

Charlie immediately went to his garden and, of course, accompanied by his wife Anne. They usually leave in the morning. But because Alula is sick, Charlie and Anne decide to leave during the day.

Alula tried to walk out of the house. He wanted to distract her from thinking about Kai. Alula stared and slowly walked over to the house that Kai lived in.

"Are you back in Birmingham?" Tears fell from both of his eyelids profusely.

Alula touched the door. When Alula accidentally pushes him, Kai's door opens.

"Why not in the lock? Did when Kai left he forget to lock it up?" Alula wiped her tears.

Alula slowly enters Kai's house. Inside the house there is complete furniture. Kai really seems to want to move into this house. Alula smiles when she sees a picture of her wedding with Kai on the wall of the living room.

"Uhuk uhuk," a person heard coughing from upstairs. Shortly the sound of the glass breaking.

"Whose voice is that?" Alula gave a goosebumps hearing the coughing voice earlier. But he tried to dare to go up to the 2nd floor. Alula was afraid of a burglar in her husband's house.

When Alula reached the second floor, she was very shocked by what she saw.

"Kai?" Alula shouted and ran towards Kai who was on his back on the ceramic.

"Kai, are you here?" Alula shook her husband's body slowly.

"You're so hot!" Alula touched Kai's forehead which felt very hot.

"Let's stand up!" Alula wakes up Kai's body and breaks him into the bed.

"Al's? You're here?" Kai said weakly. Her lips look so pias.

"Yes. Where have you been these 4 days?" Alula sniffled back.

"4 I am sick today. But just the flu and the cough. Maybe because I haven't adapted to the weather in this city. It's very hot here, but the wind is so strong. I didn't see you because I was afraid you'd catch a cold and cough me up. I don't want you and our son to be sick" Kai said with his eyes closed.

"Stupid! Why don't you tell me you're sick?" Alula's getting sobbing. She was worried about her husband's health. Kai did not answer his question.

"Kai? Awake up!" Alula patted her cheek gently.

"My head is so dizzy. Al, I love you, come back to me!" Kai started to slur. Probably the effects of his fever are very high.

Alula immediately brought a small basin filled with hot water and a washcloth to compress her husband's body.

"His temperature has gone down enough" Alula looked at the thermometer she had just used to check Kai's temperature.

Alula rushes to the kitchen, cooking food that Kai can eat when he wakes up. After cooking, Alula went back upstairs to store the food and also to check on her husband.

The time had already shown at 12pm and Alula was still in Kai's room.

"Kai, I'll go home!" Alula covered her husband's body with a thick blanket.

Alula squatted in front of Kai's sleeping face with her body tilted to the right. Alula ruffled Kai's hair which looked messy.

"This is not my will, but your son's will. Ever since I saw you in this town, I've been dying to mess up your hair. Your son wants it," Alula smiled with satisfaction after shuffling her husband's hair into disarray.

"Chealing quickly sir sucks! If you're sick, who's gonna hurt me?" Alula immediately left and went from Kai's house to his grandmother and grandfather's house to rest.
