A hope

Daytime....

Nino and Alden want to say goodbye to Kai to go home. However, Kai did not come out of the room even though the time had indicated noon.

"Bi, Kai hasn't come down yet?" Nino asked her aunt May, who was serving them breakfast.

"I have no appetite" Kai replied weakly. Like there was no passion on his face at the moment. His eyes were blank, staring somewhere.

"Eat! Don't you have to work?" Nino.

"I told you I don't eat!!" Kai shouted.

"You are a very weak man! You want to find your wife, but you don't prepare anything to look for her either" Nino sneered.

"What do you mean?" Kai stood up and looked at Nino sharply.

"I've been looking for him for three days. I'm not standing still" Kai continued.

"You've only been looking for him for three days. How are you gonna find him?" Alden.

"I've deployed my men. But they haven't found Alula yet" Kai leaned his body against the wall. He is very frustrated with the situation that is now ensnaring him. Losing the woman he loved so tormented his heart and mind.

"Hows it? What if I really don't find it?" Kai's eyes look waterlogged.

"For the next few years I've been friends with him, I've never seen him this mess" Nino said.

"You'll find him if you keep trying. Eat now! How are you gonna find your wife if your body hurts?" Nino looked at her best friend with pity. Even her eye bags were so obvious that Kai was completely sleep deprived.

"Nino's right. Don't you want to accompany Alula to give birth and be the first to hold your child?" Alden.

Kai was silent at Alden's words.

"You have to try because your son will definitely need a father figure next to him" Alden continued.

"I'll try harder" slowly the spirit on his face shone back when he heard Alden's words.

"Then we say goodbye. Papa told me to go home" Nino said goodbye.

"Wait!!" Kai stopped their steps.

"What's wrong?" Nino and Alden turned around.

Kai walked closer to his two best friends.

"We did it all for you. For the happiness of your home. Next time, if you manage to bring Alula back to your side, trust her! Isn't trust one of the foundations in a relationship? What else is a husband and wife relationship" Alden uttered his wise words.

They laugh together too.

"I'll try harder to find my wife."

Before long they embrace each other, then Nino and Alden soon home from his best friend's house.

After Nino and Alden's return, Kai immediately prepares to go to work. He should be responsible for his work. Who will handle everything if Kai does not go to work. Even though it was daytime, but it was better than Kai not coming to his office at all.

After getting ready, Kai immediately went downstairs for breakfast. Aunt May was also relieved to see Kai eating voraciously.

After breakfast, Kai hurried to the office. Along the way, he repeated Ed Sheeran's song Perfect. Kai really misses every moment with his wife.

Kai went into his private room. Again his heart and mind flew to think of Alula who now knew where she was.

"I really miss you" Kai noticed a picture frame containing a photo of Alula on her desk.

As Kai was looking at Alula's face, someone knocked on the door.

"Lake in!"

"Sir, there are two people who want to meet with mister," Rachel entered Kai's room.

"Who?" Kai keeps a photo of Alula on his desk.

"I don't know, but they say this is very important" Rachel said with polite intonation.

"Send them in!

"alright, sir. Then excuse me," Rachel immediately walked out of Kai's room.

Moments later, the two men entered Kai's private room.

"Master?" Said one of the men.

"Are there any updates on my wife?" Kai asked when he saw the two people who entered his room. It turns out that they were one of his men looking for Alula.

"We've been looking for information about Miss Alula's grandparents' residence. And we've got word that his grandparents or parents from his father Miss Alula are in York City" they reported.

Kai seemed to find a hope again to find his wife. He hoped Alula was in the city mentioned by her informant.

"alright. You guys can come out and thank you for the info."

"Good, sir. Excuse me," the two men immediately passed from Kai's room.

Kai took his phone back and immediately called someone.

"Leo, please accompany me to York City!"
