"All right, let's start." Cahyo saw everyone there.
Kayla continued to smile widely, sitting firmly with a heart pounding with pleasure.
"As I said earlier. I want to do the division of the inheritance for all the wealth I have."
Naya and Kevin only saw their father in astonishment, while Kayla showed a gleeful and impatient face.
"Sir lawyer. Please note and immediately make the completeness of the letter."
There were four lawyers who seemed to already know what they had to do swiftly listening to Cahyo's words
"I will bequeath one hundred percent ownership of the property and assets I have, be it movable or immovable property entirely to my second son. Kevin's."
Kayla looked gasp. The smile on his face suddenly dimmed. He saw Cahyo not believing.
Likewise with Kevin, he immediately saw his father and mother alternating.
"The lawyer will immediately take care of all the necessary files for the renaming of all the assets I have in my son's name."
"This decision is final and cannot be contested, by anyone and under any circumstances."
"Wait a minute!" Kayla stood up in panic.
"Why just Kevin? What about Yumna?" Kayla couldn't help but feel disappointed.
"Yumna will get nothing because she was born from a legally illegitimate marriage" Cahyo replied lightly.
"But he's still your grandson!" Kayla Mulia was emotionally entangled.
"He is my grandson. But I won't give anything to him. If he's grown up, he can ask for it from Kevin, because legally Kevin is listed as his father. But that's even if Yumna's still in her care."
"Why? You're really unfair. Why are you giving everything to your kids?" Kayla pointed at Kevin in annoyance.
"When Yumna is your only remaining offspring, your blood flows in her body."
Cahyo just smiled casually. So did everyone who just shook their head in disbelief of Kayla's ambition on treasures.
"Yumna will get an inheritance if she stays with Kevin and his wife. I'm sure Kevin won't make Yumna lack anything if Yumna stays in her care." Yanti opened her voice. Satisfaction roared his heart at Kayla's disappointment.
Kayla rounded her eyes. Now he believes that this is their strategy to make him withdraw from Yumna's custody lawsuit.
"All redirection files will be completed in three days" one of the lawyers said.
"alright. Thank you very much." Cahyo stood up, greeting all the lawyers who were preparing to leave.
Kayla is still there, she still doesn't want to leave, still trying to change Cahyo's decision.
"Just think about how they already have their own children. Yumna will definitely be set aside or even forgotten. I'm pretty sure they won't love Yumna anymore let alone give her a treasure."
Naya stood up straight away.
"Don't equate us with you."
"Don't be your hypocrite. Honestly tell them that you've only pretended to love my son. You're just after this family treasure, aren't you?"
Naya smiled at Kayla's words.
"Again, don't equate me with you. Let's see who's after the treasure now." Naya has a chest.
"After knowing that your son won't get anything. Do you still want to continue the custody lawsuit?" asked Naya with a smile.
Kayla. He doesn't know what to answer.
Kayla clenched her teeth annoyed at Naya's insults.
While Kevin and his parents were satisfied with their son-in-law's words to Kayla.
"Think about it again. Do not let your money run out of paying lawyers, but in fact you will still lose against us. I'm sure you know that in this day and age, money speaks. Your mediocre money will not be able to fight me who now has everything" Naya said again this time arrogantly.
Kayla grew furious, she stared intently at Naya with hatred.
"You should have accepted my in-laws' offer back then, but they were kind enough to give you enough money. But greed makes you now get nothing, a dime." Naya almost chuckled.
"Less it! How dare you mock me." Kayla raised her hand.
But Kevin quickly stood up and fended off Kayla's hand which almost landed on his wife's cheek.
"Go from here. You will continue the lawsuit or it is not up to you. We'll be ready to face you outside or inside the court." Kevin kicked Kayla.
Kayla looked at everyone one by one with hatred, her breathing heaving with restraining the turbulent fury within the chest.
"Look at it later. I'll make a calculation with all of you!" Kayla finally left there, carrying with her emotions and anger
***
Kayla threw her bag and threw her body on the sofa with her face still very angry.
Indra was astonished to see his wife.
"What's wrong? Why did they call you home?" Indra, who was waiting for his wife's return from Cahyo's house, seemed impatient to know what happened there.
Kayla didn't want to tell the story, but her husband kept pressing.
He finally told me everything. Fieryly he berated the entire Cahyo family for not giving his daughter a penny.
Indra was stunned. He held his head in frustration.
Suddenly Indra picked up her phone, apparently calling someone.
"Please take care of my divorce with my wife. If you can do it soon."
Kayla surprise. She stood looking at her husband.
"Taking care of our divorce? Why?"
"You think I'd keep you as a wife? You won't get anything from her ex-husband's family, so why are you staying here?"
Kayla widened her eyes in disbelief.
"Go from here. I don't want to take you anymore!" Indra dragged Kayla to her door.
Kayla pleads for release.
"You can't do this to me." Kayla managed to escape from her husband's hands.
"Remember. If I still hold that evidence." Kayla stared at Indra.
"I also have evidence that you were behind your ex-husband's death."
Kayla frowned in wonder.
Indra played something on her phone, a voice recording where the two were arguing about Danendra's death. In the voice recording, Kayla admitted that she was the mastermind but was sure that the police would not find evidence of her involvement.
"Give the evidence to the police, then I'll hand over this evidence as well. So we're going to jail together!"
