For Yumna

For Yumna
Meet Mother.

Kevin then walked to the door, turned off the room light and walked out of it by slowly closing the door.

He was shocked to see Kayla who was suddenly already in front of him.

"Is Yumna asleep?" ask her with a sad face.

Kevin did not reply, only stunned as he stared intently at the woman in front of him. From top to bottom he seemed to be watching Kayla closely.

She knew that she could not believe Naya, but somehow it was difficult for her to trust this woman before her.

"Is Yumna asleep?" Kayla repeated her question because Kevin who kept silent did not answer.

"Yes." Yeah." Kevin answered while leaving.

"Are you out looking for Naya?" kayla asked suddenly making Kevin's move stop instantly.

"Yes," he answered quickly as he turned his back to look at Kayla.

"What's he saying? Did he not confess to all his crimes?" asked Kayla again nervously.

Kevin smiled cynically.

"He said a lot of things. About the fact that it actually happened." Kevin stepped back.

"Don't listen to anything he says. She's a cunning and wicked woman. He's also good at theatrics, he'll easily trick people" Kayla said as she walked along with Kevin in front of her.

Kevin smiled again as he turned his body to look at Kayla again.

"Oh yeah? Then I have to be more careful with him" he said, holding his chest.

"You also have to divorce her immediately" Kayla said.

Kevin just nodded his head.

"I didn't think she'd make my daughter the bait to marry you and get into this family." Kayla looked furious.

"Oh yes. Can I ask you something?"

"certain."

"May I know why you left my sister when you were pregnant?" Kevin could not help his curiosity about the reason the woman his sister married left her husband at that time.

Kayla.

"I. At that time I was just sulking at your brother. I didn't intend to leave her then, I pretended to leave but your sister let me go and never looked for me, until I gave birth she didn't care about me anymore."

Kevin frowned in disbelief, but he would not immediately say it.

That made her even more certain that this time it seemed like she should trust Naya more. This woman before him looked like a woman filled with gimmicks.

If what Naya said is also true, Kevin is sure that Kayla, also a woman who does not have a heart, has the heart to leave the princess at a young age, and instead of thanking Naya who had taken care of her son, Kayla instead came and did a vile slander on him.

"alright. I'll go first." Kevin walked up the stairs.

"Wait a minute." Kayla.

Kevin turned his body again.

"I just want you to divorce Naya quickly."

"Why?" Kevin wonder.

"It's okay. It's just that I want us to have nothing to do with him anymore."

Kevin just smiled faintly and then resumed his steps.

***

Early in the morning Kayla was already at the dinner table and preparing breakfast for everyone. Her face looked carefree with such beautiful makeup.

Yanti and her husband were naturally shocked, especially when Kayla treated the two so kindly and politely. But they are of course happy, Kayla's attitude is very different from Naya who sometimes even often refute all their words.

Kayla acts as if she is the daughter-in-law of the house, swiftly serving everyone at the dinner table. But apparently Yanti and Cahyo her husband did not bother about it, again they were happy because Kayla was more mature than Naya.

But the other case with Kevin who did not want to be served at all, refused to take rice and side dishes, it made Kayla a little disappointed.

Everyone was shocked when suddenly Yumna came already with her school uniform approaching the dining table to join breakfast together.

Yanti smiled happily while helping her grandson to sit down.

"Honey. You want to go to school today?"

Yumna with her pouting face just nodded slowly.

"Are you healthy, son?" Cahyo saw her grandson.

Yumna again nodded flatly.

Kevin who was beside him smiled as he rubbed his daughter's back.

Kayla suddenly approaches Yumna, intending to get her rice and side dishes.

Yumna just kept quiet. Keep turning her face away from the woman who from yesterday continues to claim to be her biological mother.

They all end up eating together, Yanti and her husband also Kayla look happy to see Yumna who seems to have no longer asked Naya.

"Baby yumna. Can you take Yumna to school?" Kayla saw her daughter.

Yumna immediately shook her head with eyes focused on the food.

"Then just like Grandma. Wanna?" Yanti.

Cahyo gave the code so they wouldn't force it.

Before long Yumna had finished all her food, she immediately stood up while carrying her plate to the kitchen.

Kayla stood up and prevented him.

"Keep it, baby. Let Mama take her to the kitchen."

Yumna didn't listen, she kept walking to the kitchen near the sink.

"What do you want? Washing dishes?" Kayla was made in disbelief.

Yanti was already behind him.

"That was the result of Naya's upbringing all this time, she told the little boy to wash his own dishes after eating," he said while looking at Yumna who was washing dishes.

Kayla was in shock.

"What's? Naya told you to?" tanyanya could not believe it.

"Yes. Not only that, Naya also told him to do other homework."

"I can't believe Naya did this to my daughter!" Kayla looked furious.

Yumna who was listening to the conversation of her grandmother and mother just fell silent holding back the cry of hearing her mother continue to be rubbed and blamed.

He simply walked back regardless of the two. Yumna approached her father.

Kevin who was waiting for him then invited Yumna to go to school.

Without saying goodbye to everyone, Yumna rode in the car.

In the car.

"Yumna doesn't want to go to school. Yumna wants to see your mother." Yumna took her father's appointment last night.

Kevin glanced at his daughter then nodded slowly.

Yumna immediately smiled happily. He looked impatient to meet his mother again.

Meanwhile.

Naya opened the large refrigerator in front of her, seemingly empty there were only a few bottles of mineral water there. He took a bottle, opened it and drank it.

Naya then walked towards the big window, stunned for a moment while looking at the cityscape in the morning.

She immediately remembered Yumna, wondering how her daughter was doing this morning, whether the bandage on her head had been replaced and whether the medicine had been taken as well.

Naya's eyes were back in tears, but her eyes were swollen from crying all night because she missed the princess.

Naya looked down miserably and wiped away the tears in the corners of her eyes.

"Mother..."

Naya raised her head, hearing Yumna's voice calling out to her.

"Mother..." This time, Yumna's voice called out to her while holding back her cries.

Naya instantly turned her body and was shocked to see Yumna behind her with Kevin.

Yumna immediately slammed into the embrace of the mother, both of them hugging with crying.

A few moments later.

"Yumna wants to stay here with mom." Yumna looked at Naya expectantly as the two sat on the sofa.

Naya looked at Kevin who was only stunned to hear Yumna's words.

Naya did not answer just directly hugged Yumna tightly.

Kevin also felt the need to see the two who were pouring out their longing and affection for each other.

Naya then invited her daughter to talk, to eliminate the sadness between them.

While Kevin looked at his watch, he stood up to go to work, saying goodbye to Yumna.

I saw Kevin standing up. Naya stood up and followed behind him.

At the door, he called Kevin to ask him to talk for a moment.

"Why did you bring Yumna here?" Naya spoke softly so that Yumna who was sitting on the sofa did not hear.

"He wants to see you."

"But... What if they know." Naya looks scared.

"You just calm down. They won't know, I'll pick her up again in the afternoon." Kevin is ready to leave.

"Wait a minute." Naya.

Kevin looked back at Naya.

"Thank you." Naya smiled.

"Again thanks." Naya tears her happy tears because she's actually happy Kevin brought Yumna to her.

Kevin stunned. He felt this was the first time Naya smiled at him.
