For Yumna

Just Pretending?

Naya blinked her eyes not understanding. For a moment he was stunned for a moment until he finally smiled while standing.

"You don't have to do this." Naya will step away.

Hurry Kevin held his hand.

"What do you mean?" Kevin doesn't understand.

Naya is still smiling.

"You don't have to pretend to be in love with me just to make Yumna happy or to stay with Yumna. I told you that you and your family can still see him at any time." Naya then walked away from Kevin.

The turn of Kevin who opened his eyes did not believe if Naya thought her declaration of love was just pretending.

Naya and Kevin both breathed a sigh of relief while looking at Yumna who was now soundly asleep.

"You just go home. Let me wait for Yumna here" Naya said without looking at Kevin while sitting on the sofa.

Kevin looked at Naya with annoyance. She remembers how Naya thought of her love statement as just an excuse to stay with Yumna.

"I'll sleep here." Kevin sat down and laid his body on the sofa in front of Naya.

Naya doesn't respond, she looks focused on seeing her phone.

Kevin noticed that Naya, who continued to focus on playing the phone, did not care about it at all.

Kevin was getting more and more annoyed, he sat down while staring at Naya in front of him.

"Why do you think that I should pretend to be in love with you just for Yumna's sake?"

Naya raised her face to look at Kevin.

"Still want to talk about it?" tanyanya relaxed while looking back at her phone.

"Of course!" reply Kevin quickly.

"I don't think now is the time to discuss the unimportant. Now we better just focus on Yumna" replied Naya cuek as she continued to look at her phone.

Kevin frowned.

"It doesn't matter?" tanyanya could not believe it. The woman in front of him is indeed extraordinary, the statement of love is considered something that is not important.

"Nayara's. What I said was serious."

Naya looked at Kevin. The two looked at each other.

But suddenly the door of the room opened, Claudia went inside.

Naya immediately smiled seeing his arrival. Another case with Kevin who gawked in shock.

"Honey. Why didn't my phone pick up." Claudia walked up to Kevin then sat down beside him.

Kevin looks misbehaved, he looks at the indifferent Naya and returns busy playing his phone.

"How is Yumna now? I didn't expect that Kayla would do that to him." asked Claudia as she held onto Kevin's arm spoiledly.

Kevin immediately let go of her then stood up and pulled Claudia's hand and took her out.

Naya who glanced at the two at a glance just smiled as she shook her head looking at Kevin's behavior.

In the car park.

"Why did you bring me here, I haven't seen Yumna yet, this doll alone I haven't given it to her." Claudia showed me the big bag she was carrying.

Kevin took a deep breath.

"Where's Kayla?"

"Kaila? Why are you asking me. I don't know where she is."

"Don't pretend. I know Kayla's coming for you."

"Why did he come to me. She was my ex-sister-in-law, but our relationship wasn't that close."

"Because you're conspiring." Kevin looked at Claudia.

Claudia gasped in surprise.

"Congruent? Whatchu mean? I don't get it." Claudia stutters.

"Don't pretend. I know you're conspiring."

"Why do you think that?"

Claudia gurgling.

"I'm disappointed. Why did you choose to conspire with him even though I don't know what exactly you guys are planning."

"I almost unmasked Kayla but you protected her instead. If you hadn't defended her then, I'm sure that Yumna wouldn't have come like this."

"I'm not what you're accusing me of." Claudia was trying to avoid.

"I'm disappointed in you." Kevin was upset.

"Then me? What about me? Do you think I'm not disappointed in you?" Claudia looked back at Kevin in annoyance.

"Don't I know if you're also secretly falling for that woman."

"So you already know?"

"Of course I know. I'm not a stupid woman. When you insisted on not divorcing her, I knew that you had already put your heart on her." It was Claudia's turn to attack Kevin.

Unexpectedly Kevin smiled.

"Thank God you already know. I don't have to bother telling you anymore."

Claudia flabbergasted.

"You're right I've fallen in love with her. I'm sorry."

Claudia glazed.

"Why are you doing this to me? What about our relationship?" Claudia started to shed her tears.

"I know if I was wrong to end our relationship like this. But I'm sure you'll find a better replacement soon."

"No! I don't want to break up with you." Claudia held onto Kevin's hand.

"I'm sorry. I can't continue our relationship."

Kevin releases Claudia's hand and leaves her alone.

Claudia immediately wiped away her tears. He looked at Kevin with a hateful look.

"After dumping me like this. I guarantee you that your life and that woman will never be happy."

Kevin returns to Yumna's room, but when he gets there he sees Naya sleeping with his daughter. For a moment he was stunned to see the two who were sleeping by hugging each other on the bed.

She was already convinced of her choice, her relationship with Claudia was over. From now on into the future, these two people before him would be a priority in his life.

Next day.

Yanti and her husband had come early in the morning to visit the grandson, they also brought change of clothes and food for his grandson and Naya.

"Naya eat. I made this for you." Yanti calls Naya to ask her to immediately taste her food with sumringah.

"Eat. Let her grandfather take care of Yumna" Yanti said after Naya sat next to her.

"This. Eat it." Yanti gave her a plate of food with a smile.

"Thank you." Naya ate it immediately.

Yanti with a radiant face saw Naya who was eating.

"I'm sorry mom. I'm really sorry," said Yanti suddenly while holding Naya's hand.

Naya immediately kept the plate. He saw Yanti next to him.

"I'm sorry too. You must have been offended by my words yesterday."

"No. Not at all. Everything you say is true. I'm too stupid to just trust that woman."

Naya fell silent.

"Now I'm handing Yumna back to you. I realize that all Yumna needs is you."

"Back in our house, you and Yumna will not. But if you're pleased we'd like you to stay in one of our houses."

"You can choose. There are several houses, or if you want there are also several apartments. You and Yumna can choose one of our houses or apartments."

Naya shook her head immediately.

"No. Excuse me. I cannot accept your offer. Let me and Yumna live our simple lives as before."

Yanti looks disappointed.

"But you don't have to worry, I will still try to give Yumna a decent life."

"Although it will not be the same as you who are able to give anything for him but I will still try to make him happy even if not by his means."
