The morning sun greeted today which felt more sparkling and radiant.
A happy smile and laughter have graced the entire inhabitants of the beautiful little house, while making breakfast for his beloved husband and daughter, Naya continued to hear the sound of laughter from the princess who was accompanying her father to exercise in the morning.
Yumna sat on the back of her father who was doing push-ups, occasionally laughing cheerfully as she refrained from falling from up there.
"Dear baby let's take a shower, breakfast is ready." Naya approached the two on the porch of the house.
Yumna nodded obediently, she immediately ran towards her room to pick up a towel then went to bathe herself.
Kevin resumed his morning sports activities.
Yumna was out of the bathroom. Naya who had finished serving food on the dining table then approached the husband who was still exercising in the morning.
"Hurry shower. Yumna's done."
Kevin stood up while wiping his sweat.
"A little while." Kevin jump.
"Stop. You'll be bad luck" said Naya giving a small towel.
Kevin took the towel while looking at his wife.
"Somehow, you've been exercising for a long time. From six and a half." Naya looked at the wall clock inside the house.
"I have to increase the duration of my exercise" he replied, wiping his sweat with a towel.
"Why?" Naya wonder.
"Sports is an alternative way to channel something that cannot be channeled." Kevin looked back at Naya this time with a loving look.
Naya's face was instantly blushing red.
Kevin smiled at his wife's embarrassed face.
***
"You don't have to worry. We will take good care of your daughter. Other than the two of you holding the card, we make sure no one else will be able to see Yumna." The principal reassures Naya and Kevin.
Kevin and Naya are now relieved.
"Thank you so much for your help." Kevin shakes hands with the headmaster followed by Naya.
Both then resigned. Walk together to the car park.
"Hows it? It's quieter now?" kevin asked a glance at his wife when they were already in the car.
"Yes. At least now Yumna will be noticed more by her teachers because we have told her everything."
Kevin turned on the car engine, then drove out of the gate, but unexpectedly there was already someone who intercepted them outside the gate.
Naya glanced anxiously at Kevin beside her.
But Kevin with his relaxed face asked his wife to calm down.
"Down first. There's something I want to talk about." Kayla banged on the glass window.
Kevin pulled the car over, took his wife down.
Kayla grinned at the sight of the couple descending and walking up to her.
"What else is it?" Naya sees Kayla off guard.
"I just wanted to let you know if we're going to file Yumna's custody lawsuit with the court." Kayla pointed to a man who appeared to be casually smoking while leaning against his car.
Kevin immediately knew if it was Indra, Kayla's ex-husband and her ex-boyfriend's brother.
Indra walked over to them haughtily.
"Then what? You want our congratulations?" Kevin grinned cynically.
Kayla did not answer, she just pulled Indra's hand and held him friendly.
The two pairs of husband and wife stood looking at each other sharply. The smell of hostility was so felt from the two camps who both wanted Yumna.
Indra looked at Kevin with a look of dislike, this was not their first meeting because the two were met several times by Claudia.
But at this meeting, it was certainly not like their previous meeting. The two looked at each other with hatred, especially Indra who was upset because her beloved sister was thrown away by this man before her.
"My husband and I are going to take my son away from you" Kayla said, cradling in her husband's arm.
"Please. Do whatever you want." Naya smiled.
"Before filing a lawsuit, we want to give you the opportunity to hand Yumna over to us, rather than having to fight in court, spend a lot of time and money because we're the ones who win, it's better if you just give up Yumna now."
Kevin and Naya smiled together.
"We must say it, give up, before you will be embarrassed in public." Naya looked at Kayla.
Kayla looks a little flabby.
"Give up all your efforts to take Yumna from us because it will never work at all" Naya said.
"Why are you so insistent on not giving Yumna to her biological mother? Aren't you married? Can you have your own real children? Why do you want to take care of a child who doesn't even have any blood relations with you? Could there be some ulterior intent?" Indra smile.
Kevin almost laughed out loud hearing the words of his former sister-in-law.
"Are you talking about us or talking about yourself?" Kevin stepped forward to approach Indra while holding his chest.
Indra looked at Kevin.
"What does this woman next to you promise that you will be invited to work with her?" kevin asked pointing at Kayla with his face.
"Are you so desperate because your business is almost bankrupt, that you want to be a puppet by him?" asked Kevin again who made Indra's face immediately reddened with anger.
Emotionally ignited Indra brushed off Kayla's hand beside him, preparing to hit Kevin in front of her.
But Kayla deftly held her husband.
"It has. Don't listen to him." Kayla keeps pushing her husband away from Kevin who just laughs at Indra being provoked by her.
"Originally you know that if my sister is lucky not to be married to you, who is a adopted child, it's not clear where she came from." It was Indra's turn to try to provoke Kevin.
Kevin's face changed instantly. Not wanting her husband to be emotionally upset, Naya immediately held his hand and took him back to their car.
Indra had been brought into the car by his wife, but his face still showed anger when he remembered Kevin calling it just a Kayla doll.
"Why you? Why are you angry just because he talks like that?" Kayla who was already sitting next to him saw Indra sewot.
Hearing that, Indra's emotions instead of subsiding, even made more crazy. He looked at Kayla furiously and hatefully.
Meanwhile.
Naya was relieved when they were finally in the car.
She glanced at her husband who kept staring intently at Indra's car in front of her.
Naya held Kevin's hand, she knew that her husband was actually also stirred by the emotion of Indra's words earlier.
In the grasp of Naya Kevin as if awakened, he leaned his body while smilingly looking at his wife.
"I'm doing fine. It's okay." Kevin clenched his wife's hand.
