Kevin's smile. That one sentence was able to carve a twinkle of happiness on his handsome face.
"What does that mean..."
"Do I have to warm up my food?" sela Naya quickly while twisting her body.
Suddenly Kevin held her hand. He made his wife face him again.
"I don't want to eat." Kevin still holds Naya's hand.
Naya did not dare to look at her husband, she only saw his tightly held hands.
"Say you won't hold my hand again like this."
Kevin immediately released it.
"I'll make you some tea."
Naya turned her body back quickly, walking towards the kitchen, accompanied by the gaze of the husband who was in flowery.
Naya turns on the stove, cooks water to make her husband tea even though it was only her reason to avoid the gaze of Kevin who must be wondering what the meaning of all the words was.
Actually cooking water is also a pretext so that her husband does not see his face tense, relieve his heart that continues to pound uncharacteristically.
"I don't want tea either" said Kevin, surprising the pensive Naya.
Naya didn't answer. Instead of easing up now his heart is getting too uncertain knowing that Kevin is now behind him.
"I just want to talk to you."
Naya still didn't respond. Until finally she was shocked when Kevin approached her to make her husband's chest stick to his back and immediately turn off the stove.
"Nay. Can we talk to you for a second?" Kevin's a little backwards.
Naya immediately twisted her body.
"What do you want to talk about?"
Kevin smelled a smile looking at the wife's face right in front of him.
"I just want to make sure."
"What?" asked Naya while looking in any direction.
"Look at me Nay."Kevin held his wife's chin until finally they looked at each other.
"Say. What do you want to make sure?" I don't know why now Naya can no longer linger staring at her husband's pair of eyeballs, unlike yesterday, now she feels uneasy.
"Does this mean you trust my love? Does this mean you are returning my love? Does this mean we'll always be together?" Kevin gave her a series of questions.
Naya pursed her lips. He doesn't know what to answer.
"Jawab I'm Nay." Kevin looked at his wife's face.
"As you say I'm old enough to not be able to tell which love is sincere and pretend."
"So what are you feeling?" ask Kevin quickly.
Naya gulps.
"I trust you and your feelings for me."
Kevin smiled at her happy smile. Her heart is flowery because now she knows Naya believes in her love and only hopes that her love does not clap one hand.
Kevin looked back at Naya with love.
"Thank you for trusting me."
"Give me some time. To make sure I have the same feelings as you." Naya looked back at her husband.
"of course. No need to rush." Kevin smiled as he continued to look at Naya.
"We still have a lot of time" he added slowly.
While Kevin continued to look at his wife's face with love, another case with Naya who felt uncomfortable immediately turned her back to the husband, intending to turn on the stove again.
But suddenly the two were shocked by the sound of Yumna's cry that was so echoing, calling her mother and father many times.
As fast as lightning, the couple immediately ran to their daughter's room, then found the princess who was crying in fear.
Naya immediately hugs Yumna and calms her down, as does Kevin who asks what happened.
"Yumna's afraid of dad." Yumna turned around and hugged her father tightly
Yumna did not answer, only continued to cry bitterly while continuing to hug her father tighter.
Kevin and Naya looked at each other in wonder.
A few moments later.
Yumna was taken to Naya's room because her bed was big enough for the three of them to sleep on.
Yumna who was in the middle had stopped crying but still could not close her eyes, fear still loomed over her after the nightmare earlier.
Naya continues to hug her daughter and asks her to fall asleep.
"Sleep baby. Don't be afraid, there's a mother and father here who'll take care of you."
Naya immediately glanced at the father beside her.
"Dad promise not to go? Stay here until morning."
"Yes dear. I'm not leaving." Kevin held the princess' hand.
Yumna again tried to close her eyes, trying to fall asleep again and forget the nightmare that had disturbed her sleep earlier.
It didn't take long, Yumna had fallen asleep again. Naya immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"It seems like he had a bad dream" Kevin said slowly.
"I'm sure if she's dreaming about Kayla," Naya replied furious at Kayla's recall and the violence she's been doing to Yumna.
"Did the police not catch him?" he continued to stare at the ceiling of the room.
"Yet. I'm sure if there's someone to help hide it." Kevin also did the same, staring at the ceiling of the room above him.
Both were silent for a moment. The atmosphere became silent but not immediately filled with their thoughts, seeing the fear of Yumna earlier, the anger and hatred towards Kayla was inevitable.
Suddenly Yumna sounded grimacing again. The two reflexes to calm the princess instead made their hands meet on Yumna's back.
Naya suddenly pulls his hand, but Kevin quickly holds it, he clasps his wife's hand tightly and then with their hands together, gently stroking Yumna's back until their daughter falls asleep again in her sleep.
Kevin smiled happily, as Naya did not try to take her hand off him. He made her clutch his wife's hand.
Naya chose to let him. Hoping for their hands together makes Yumna feel calm and secure. Naya wants her daughter to know that as long as she and her father are around, no one will ever hurt her again.

Next day.
Early in the morning a Yanti house employee came to deliver clothes belonging to Kevin.
Yanti also sent some Yumna clothes as well as toys and food for all of them.
"Thank you mom. The clothes and others arrived. I'll tell Naya later if it's noon mom will come here." Kevin, who was finished, was ready to sit at the dinner table, next to his daughter, who was also ready to go to school.
Naya is busy serving food when Kevin tells her that her mother will come to visit their house later in the day.
"I told you to come here if you've gone home to teach at school."
"I don't teach anymore."
"Why?" Kevin's shocked.
"I'm fired. I've been truant a lot lately."
Kevin fell silent.
Naya glanced at her husband.
"Prepare. By not working anymore, I and Yumna are now totally dependent on you."
"Now you are the husband who has to give me a monthly ration" Naya said again while filling her husband's plate with fried rice.
Kevin couldn't help but smile at his wife's babble early in the morning. He immediately took out his wallet and pulled out a few cards from inside.
"I hope you're not the type of wife who will save the monthly rations her husband gives you."
"Pending fully. I'm the kind of husband who likes to see his wife wasteful." Kevin gave Naya three cards.
Naya took the three cards while watching them one by one. One credit card and two debit cards.
"Can you give me some cash, the greengrocer up ahead, I'm sure I won't be paid with these cards."
Kevin was again made to laugh at the words of his wife. If only the wife knows how much money is in the two debit cards she holds.
