Kevin's Sadness

"You know how precious Yumna is to father and mother, to this family, she is our only remaining descendant of our only son. What you are doing proves that you are not our flesh and blood. You kind of assert your position as just a pick-up boy."

Everyone gasped, especially Kevin who was struck by lightning heard all the words of his father.

Yanti immediately cried sadly. On the other hand she did not accept her husband saying that to her son.

With teary eyes, Kevin retreated slowly, walking away despite her mother calling her name so many times.

"You shouldn't have said all that." I saw her husband disappointed.

Kevin drove his vehicle very slowly, the words of the father kept ringing in his ears. To make a few drops of tears fall by itself.

The silent atmosphere that night made Naya who was sitting right beside Kevin could clearly hear Yanti's voice, making him shocked to not believe the reality he had just heard.
