Refuse to Compensate

Naya awakens as the morning sunlight coming through the window hits her face. His consciousness appeared instantly when he realized that they were having a bad luck.

She sat down and tried to grab her towel under the bed, ignoring the husband who was still sleeping peacefully beside her, Naya walked half-run towards the bathroom.

A few moments later.

Naya came out of the bathroom with a kimono towel. Found the husband who was also awake, sitting beside the bed with one eye rubbing the eye and the other holding his phone.

"We're misfortune. Yumna has to go to school." Naya panic.

He was walking in no direction when he realized that there was no shirt he could wear right now.

"What clothes should I wear now?" Naya looked at Kevin who was just smiling funny looking at her.

"Yumna's been taken by mom and dad to school." Kevin walked over to his wife.

Naya breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God."

Kevin who only wore a towel continued to walk up to him, making Naya retreat instantly.

"No. Don't again. Take a shower." Naya recalls the incident at dawn, where Kevin used the same mode, the reason that made them wake up late.

Kevin smiled amusedly as he continued walking closer to his wife.

Naya keeps retreating.

"Go shower. You have to go to work, right?"

"No. I'm gonna skip the hook."

"Why?"

"I'm tired. After working all night overtime." Kevin grinned.

Apparently Yanti and her husband not only drove Yumna to school, they apparently had other intentions, wanted to meet Kayla and talk to her.

"How much do you dare pay us?" Indra also opened her voice.

Cahyo and Yanti looked at each other.

"We will continue with my daughter's custody lawsuit" Kayla said.

Indra just nodded in approval of his wife's decision.

"So you guys think I want to take custody of Yumna for money? You guys have been fooled by Naya and Kevin. It is precisely those who want your money, do not want to give Yumna to me when I am more entitled to it." Kayla started to stand up.

Naya continued to wear towels until the clothes she bought online had arrived, delivered by the maid to their room.

After that, she immediately put on the shirt and prepared to pick up Yumna from her school.

She and her husband had already come downstairs, meeting her new father and mother.

Naya blushed embarrassed because she accidentally woke up late and certainly made the in-laws troubled because they had to take care of Yumna.

"It's okay. I understand that." Yanti smiled while holding her daughter-in-law's hand.

Meanwhile, Cahyo invites her son to speak together in the study.

"Dad just met Kayla and her husband?"

"Yes son. I'm sorry I didn't tell you first."

"It's okay dad. But why would you want to meet them?"

Cahyo then told her in detail about her meeting with Kayla.

"They refused because they knew that Yumna's price was more than that."

Cahyo silently agreed to her son's words.

"Dad just calm down. They're not gonna win that custody lawsuit. I'm so sure."

"What if we lose, son? That cunning woman could do anything, for example she could easily be freed from the entanglement of the law." Cahyo finally said her anxiety. The courage that he had been holding alone all this time.

Kevin couldn't answer because what his father said was right. Kayla, that cunning woman could do anything, bribing the judge might as well.
