For You This World I'll Destroy
The White Snake Gremory (End)

Somewhere at another time…

Dozens of puppets swarmed over a pale blue-haired girl, who was lying on her four-bed. His restless mind messed with his sleepiness. The girl opened her eyes and grabbed the hand of a teddy bear and sat down and played it.

“Why is it like this?” muttered Nuwa.

Two nights earlier, Nuwa had received a specific order from Prince Arthur. The command is so detailed, different from the freedom that has been given to a Pathfinder in carrying out the mission.

Take Chrysanthemum to the Blue Tower on the night of the Rising Sun Festival.

Nuwa happily did so. In his eyes, Chrysant had always been a thorn in the flesh. He, a rancid child with an obscure background, bravely continues to cling to Arthur's side. Though Nuwa herself, who had been betrothed to Arthur since childhood, had only ever spoken a word with the Prince.

After all.. from Nuwa's investigation, he also wanted to test his hypothesis about the poison that ‘increases’ magic powerwhich turns out to be the tomato extract, to the Blue Tower, the seal of Malice The Warden. If anything happens, Nuwa can easily bestow all the blame on Chrysant and get rid of it.

Once the oars of the two islands passed, he thought.

But unbeknownst to him, that night the Blue Tower was attacked by two White Order Lectors. Nuwa initially came to the conclusion that it just so happened that the two Lectors were eyeing the Blue Tower and Chrysant was there. But this morning, after checking Chrysant's condition, the girl understood.

“To what extent does he plan everything?” murmured Nuwa saw her engagement ring.

Arthur Arpeggio Noctis, no, before using that name he was known by the name of William Diamandia, the great-great-grandson of The First Lector, Luciel Diamandia. Few people know that, at such a small age, he, William sells his own family secrets to a rebel group that will later ignite the fire that brought down the White Order and gave birth to an organization called Black Company — Family Noctis and Gremory. Through contract after contract, William saved his life from the slaughter of his family and changed his name to William Megistus.

… The blood of witches and humans mixed in him, plus his natural talent in the world of magic, catapulted William's career to become a Pathfinder at a very young age. And then, his genius brought about many radical changes in human life. One of them is a contraceptive called the Blue Tower, which suppresses the Qualification process to a minimum point. His extraordinary services attracted the attention of the Noctis family, who had no successor, to crown him as the hundredth Arthur Arpeggio Noctis. Overnight, William who has the blood of the enemy of humanity rises to become a human noble.

And now the leader of the Black Company.

“... Damn two-faced man. But she... is very dangerous,” muttered Nuwa hugging her teddy bear.

Of course, there are many people who are skeptical and disagree with the decision of the Noctis Family. But one by one the opposition mysteriously suffered a debilitating calamity. Somehow, a case of corruption and embezzlement is uncovered easily, coincidentally involving people who are against Arthur. The name of Arthur was increasingly soaring until this moment no one dared to challenge him.

Especially after he saw with his own eyes how Arthur worked two nights ago. With a shrewd look, Arthur leads the detectives to find evidence of a scandal that led to a politician's relationship with the White Order. There was even evidence of a firework allegedly smuggled by the politician to distract the Pathfinders, as the White Order sabotaged the blue tower.

… Although all the evidence was strong, the premonition in Nuwa's heart said something else. Especially after getting Arthur's orders and knowing Chrysant's true identity.

“Battle-type Homunculus CH003. The only Homunculus Emilia who survived The Reaper,” muttered Nuwa who glanced at the copy of the Chrysant profile she had stolen from the Black Company database.

“The Ultimate Vessel..” Further Nuwa.

All of Emilia's Homunculus had one purpose. It became a container when the White Order successfully summoned Ideal White into the world. To that end, Emilia and Luciel Diamandia accidentally inject The Warden's cell and transform the homunculus into Malice, a creature that has more endurance and regeneration than humans. But the whole experiment ended in chaos, with Emilia failing to create a perfectly controllable Malice that was theoretically strong enough to carry out the White Ideal.

However, only one experiment showed a good prognosis. CH003. Miracles that appear by chance. After going through a painful Qualification, CH003 is the only Homunculus that returns to its human form and keeps its sanity. He has become the perfect Malice or the Black Company now calls Malice type S. However, CH003 mysteriously disappeared without a trace.

… And suddenly reappears, replacing The Reaper's body as Khanza's strongest magic engulfs it. Nuwa still remembers when she eavesdropped on Khanza's conversation with her older brother at the Gremory residence.

“... He was The Reaper before losing his humanity. It was then obvious, we should expose that doll immediately,” Khanza continued.

However, the Pathfinder Seraphina resolutely protected CH003 and declared him innocent.

“If he hasn't become The Reaper yet, then this boy is innocent. He is just the same victim as all of us. Chrysant just like us, he is a human!” seraphina's words were written in Abang Nuwa's logbook at the Black Company's first parliamentary meeting.

Thanks to Seraphina's steadfastness and service in the war, the Black Company granted her request on condition. Nuwa did not understand the terms, but when she saw a few days later The Morning Star was demoted to administrative power — a Chronicler, it was clear to her what Seraphina sacrificed.

“Life that hurts more than death,” muttered Nuwa who recalled how empty Seraphina's eyes were at work in the pile of documents deliberately placed on her.

And now, after looking at the parameters of Chrysant's body, Nuwa became convinced. Black Company deliberately accelerated the progress of Chrysant's Malicification and made it the ideal crushing machine, which grew stronger after completing many impossible missions. Chrysant was too innocent and naive, his heart as a girl was very easily toyed with by Arthur. Especially when the male accuser was holding onto Chrysant's greatest weakness.

Seraphines.

“Should I close my eyes and let it happen?” muttered Nuwa who was lying down again and closed her eyes with her arms.

Samar, but after meeting with many of his patients' deaths, Nuwa's feelings say. His Progressions would be perfect and he would be the Reaper, the culmination of the destruction that would devour the world.

But, was that perhaps what the Black Company was planning to do? Did they deliberately pressure Chrysant to become a time bomb in order to destroy the White Order? And afterward, turn back time and trap Chrysant in a cycle of birth and destruction to become the Black Company's strongest weapon.

I don't know why Nuwa wanted to cry to see him. How the girl with that stupid smile had to carry such a bitter destiny.

Nuwa suddenly remembered her brother's last words before leaving in his final Expedition.

“To free this world from the shackles of despair, that is the reason I became Pathfinder.”

It was Nuwa's ambition that drove her to achieve Ideal White. If she let Chrysant flow into her bitter destiny, she has failed as Ellen Lunaris Noctis and as a doctor. All his resolve would be empty ambition, if he did not keep his own words. What else should he doubt?

Clenching her hands, the girl muttered, too,

“Zarashtri, get here.”

Water emerged from the roof of his room and formed himself as a twin of Nuwa. The shadow knelt to him and said,

“Hadir, Mr. Princess.”

Nuwa stood up and looked at the portrait of her family on the wall.

“I will be gone in a long time. Therefore, I entrust the role of Princess Nuwa to you.”

“If I may know...where will the Princess go?”

Nuwa smiled, “Ke hell lives, to save my patients.”
