For You This World I'll Destroy

For You This World I'll Destroy
The Celestial Finale (2)

—60—

A crack appeared from the dark sky, until it broke as the roots of darkness grew out of it. He darted through the superadical storm and stuck it in the crust of the world connecting between the sky and the ground. White and hardened the roots of the tree spread out large branches, shining into a tree of light that grew upside down and became my all-seeing stop I saw the whole world.

After clearing my throat, I called out a black rose on my arm and spread the sound to all the roses on my tree. The voice that became my first command as the Goddess that ruled this world.

“Nyghtingale is dead,” I said to the seven greatest cities of civilization, “We, Black Company, have seized magic from the world and rule the world. Now, I warn all of you, eight more hours of my dark roots will push all seven major cities through the superadical sky,”, I continued, raising my hand.

The roots of my darkness grew ferociously, lifting the seven major cities of civilization closer and closer to the sky. Wanting myself to lift more parts of the world's crust up into the sky, but my strength remained at its limit. Lifting those seven cities of a hundred million souls alone was already a miracle to me.

“Oh people and Daemons, show me the wisdom that deserves to live in my world,” I said closing the first decree.

Hm?

From a distance I could see the humans and Daemons building some giant towers in the middle of seven cities.  Are they planning on shooting superadical snowflakes in the sky? Without magic? Curious, I went down and came to Pei Jin city.

Panic colored the city. There were some who fell down and prostrated, praying for help from the dead Goddess. Some jumped and chose to stay at the bottom of the world, for fear of hitting the sky. But more of them, shoulder to shoulder, humans and Daemons built the cannon.

“Quick! You guys don't hear that crazy monster? Don't waste a second,” shouted Arthur who seemed to be the leader figure there.

Crazy monsters? hoho, I'm quite offended.

“Araa, this what is it?” my murmurs folded hands, admiring the mechanism before me. I thought it was a tower, but I was wrong.

A giant rocket was built in haste, using the Yggdrasil rods as its foundation. A large pump machine filled his body, along with an intricate winding pipe. And in the middle of that complex mechanism, a space becomes the heart of its power..Empty to make me think, with what will they build this giant machine?

“Artie, you guys are planning to make a bomb and blow up the sky?” I asked the architect, who was busy guiding his people there.

Of course Arthur immediately jumped in shock and pulled out his sword, but fear was clearly visible on his face. For the first time, the Noctis yelled at me,

“S-After all the mess you made, how dare you come here?!”

I also felt the intense killing intent surrounding me, as the Matrovska and Hwarang surrounded me with their weapons. But what a pity, the magic rifle they were proud of, was now just a useless piece of iron.

“And I told you, this world is mine. Sure, I can dong just look around curious?” my lament then lifted my shoulders, “After all, weren't you taught in the Noctis Family that your enemy is the greatest asset you have, Artie?” my many.

Frustrated at the difference in strength between us, Arthur sheathed his sword and ordered the Matrovsks to retreat. Meanwhile, I approached Arthur's desk and saw the rocket blueprint.

“Hmm, so that rocket is a tool to release all the energy in the Quartz Megistus? Hmm, it is true, the energy in the magic crystal is enough to blast through the sky. But, it's not enough to destroy Obsidian Theater,”.

“O-Obsidian Theater?” arthur asked confusedly.

I nodded my head, “This entire sky is enveloped by the enormous Anima, named Obsidian Theater. The devil born of the world's desire for destruction,” I said which then showed the roots of the tree that rained down on the land, “Even with my strongest roots, I was overwhelmed enough to keep the demon from cutting it.”

“... You mean, our efforts are in vain?” ask Arthur.

“Not really, but wrong target. If you want to destroy the Obsidian Theater, you must eliminate everyone who calls him to this world,” I said.

“Not going,” replied Arthur in annoyance.

I laughed too, but it was the easiest solution. But that stubborn kid always tried his way to save as many people, even though it was a very difficult thing. It's a bit naive, but it's pretty sweet.

“You once said that Anima had a heart, their source of strength. If, we all aimed this rocket at the heart of Obsidian Theater, would we be able to destroy it?” asked Arthur who then stroked his chin,

“But, although possible, first of all, where can I find the location point of the monster's heart? Jeez, is eight hours enough time to find it?” continue the child.

“Seven hours thirty minutes,” I said smile.

“You... know where the monster's heart is not?”

I took off my necklace and gave it to Arthur, “Liontin this.. is the heart of Obsidian Theater,” I said who approached the rocket and admired it,

“Your mother, Mentari, used her whole life to research how to realize the blue sky. In the end, he managed to seal the heart of the Obsidian Theater within this pendant.

And finally, we both got caught up in Amelia's plot. I shook my head at the memory and continued,

“If you use that necklace in this rocket, then hit it with 6 Quartz Megistus bombs, at least, the pendant will crack a little.”

Arthur was stunned to see the locket and grasped it tightly, “Why did you tell us? I thought your goal was to make this mess up to get revenge. But... I don't understand anymore.”

I snorted, “I'm just a girl who wants to see the blue sky. Because after seeing it, maybe, I can realize the world full of love as my brother wants,” I said who also saw my terrible fingers,

“But, really, I just want no one to be sacrificed anymore for the common good,” I continued using the dark roots to steal Lumina's Quartz Megistus from Arthur's pocket.

“You plan to use Lumina to be the core of that rocket right?” my many. The boy's lack of answers confirmed my assumptions.

“Up to the last second, your heart is still tarnished by the curse of the Noctis Family. All things to you.. are only tools to achieve your goals,” I said staring bitterly at Arthur,

“Once you sacrifice something important in your life, the second one will be easier, and the third one. That is the real Noctis curse,”.

Arthur lowered his head with a trembling shoulder, “... I also do not want to lose Lumina... But, let alone my choice?” ask Arthur.

Just as Mama sacrificed Mentari to save me, just like Axel who sacrificed self-esteem and family for the sake of mortal prestige. The payment of all the sins committed by our ancestors, which predestined us to live in futility despite having everything.

But finally, Arthur let out a long sigh, “But with this necklace, it seems, I can still see the stupid doctor's smile,” he said with a faint smile, saying,

 “For that... I thank you.”

I can't help but teary-eyed,”Ih, you saw me like an enemy, but now act sweet. You mean-spirited guy,”, I complained that rubbed my eyes and let out a long sigh.

I patted my cheek and turned around, looking at the boy with a big smile, “Live another seven hours before the apocalypse, let's beat the Obsidian Theater immediately!” I said, who approached the boy.

“L-L-Loh, you said yourself, even with six Quartz Megistus, we can only make a small crack in this locket. And you alone are asking us to show our wisdom to live in your world, and you are also making suffocating deadlines like this,” said the boy who stepped back in annoyance,

“Now even you gasein us spit-cepet. Oh, my God, what do you really want? What else can we do in this dead end?”

I laughed so hard that I held my aching stomach, “God, those words of yours are like I'm a troublesome woman.”

“Newly awake?” chirps Arthur.

You brat, I thought. Tpai bairlah, the world is over the horns because of my actions. At least one brazen two times I can forgive.

I also cleared my throat, “.. One of the wisest things for me is to admit that you yourself are not capable of doing everything. Even though I am a goddess, I will still be a part of your family. Where does an Aunt refuse a request from her niece who is struggling, right?”

“Family..” muttered Arthur who then bent his eyebrows and asked, “U-Uh, you will not ask for strange things right? You are the shortsighted one. Never light hands and always reply. That's it, stingy again.”

Knock on the boy's head, “Gosh, yeah, this once, for the first time in my life, I'll help the world for free,” I said, and ruffled Arthur's hair with anxiety. After being content to bully Arthur, I held his hand and looked at him deeply,

“Can Auntie help you, Artie?”

Sweeping in embarrassment, Artie let go of her hand and replied,

“... Please guidance, Auntie.”
