The First Malice, Deception
—Epilogue I—
“Too early for you to give up, Moon.”
A familiar voice woke me from sleep. When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a dark hallway. A butterfly of light appeared, tying my eyes to follow her dancing around me. But the butterfly light went away.
“Wait!” I said I chased after him and at that moment my footrest collapsed and I fell into a dark sea of darkness.
And at the bottom of the darkness I fell, before a red sword pierced the skull there. A graceful white dress she wore, clad in the bones bound by the remains of muscles and connective tissue. But I knew the dress very well, because Mentari used it the day I killed my brother.
The white butterfly perched on the sword hilt and with it, a shock of light appeared. From those bones grew a giant tree of light with beautiful white flowers blooming all over my eyes. The light powders gathered together, arranging the body of a woman with beautiful golden strands of hair and two pairs of jade eyes that were always smiling looked at me.
“Let's conclude our discordant destiny, Moon,” said Mentari who drew a sword of light in his hand and darted against me.
However Big Brother is not a knight, I easily counteracted his attack, snatched the sword of light and reflexively almost stabbed him. But I stopped just as the tip of the sword touched Mentari's chest.
“No... I don't want to hurt you, Mentari,” I said.
“Until when will your heart be weak? If you do not have the courage to step up, then do not be angry if I take the opportunity first,” said Mentari who broke himself into three glowing selves attacked me mercilessly.
“A weak-hearted person like you, has no standing and certainty will only hurt more people,” said Mentari who took turns attacking me and shot arrows of light against me,
“As long as you do not decide to end my life, you will suffer even more,” he continued who kicked me hard to bounce on the flower field.
Rise up I rubbed the blood coming out of my mouth. I looked at the woman and replied, “ Won't.”
“Haaah.. Until when will you paint me as a good Big Brother, after everything I did to you?” said Mentari slashing his sword of light in annoyance,
“Face the Moon, I am a very wicked woman!” he continued to attack me again.
My breath called for broken Artemisia and counteracted all the simple attacks of Mentari. He did not seriously attack me, every slash of his sword had no killing intent at all. He just channeled his frustration at me, just like he did while he was alive.
“You are Anima who was born from my desire, why don't you obey my words?” said Mentari swinging the sword of light incessantly,
“You know how envious it is to see Mama pay more attention to you than I do, until I finally set you up and make your pet ‘take me’, the heir to the Noctis Throne. Therefore, your relationship with you was destroyed, until finally the old woman made you a scapegoat and executed you to maintain the goodness of the name Noctis.”
“Quickly or later the Noctis Family will get rid of one of us. Because they only need one light,” answered me that I easily caught Mentari's hand, lifted and threw his body until he hit the other two in the field of flowers.
The woman got up and looked at me with annoyance,
“That arrogant gaze of yours, which seemed to look at you better than me. From childhood, I always hated it!” the word Mentari summoned the eight balls of light on his back and summoned the pillars of light that pierced the ground. An attack I easily avoided.
Why am I avoiding it so easily? Because I could feel Mentari not really wanting to hurt me with that very hot pillar.
“After disappearing for seven years, you suddenly came back before me and apologized to me. But, you come as the Moon Daemon who has been hailed as a hero who conquered various plagues with your enchanting Knights. Your free and resplendent life, makes me feel like a foolish girl confined in a pitiful cage,” said Mentari who formed the Calabolg spear in her hand easily and thrust it at me.
Seeming to move in the slightest, I could avoid Mentari's lousy shot and feel the shock of the explosion on my back.
“Therefore I snatched Axel from you and set him up to marry me. You wouldn't expect, how happy my heart was to see your disappointed eyes, when you saw Axel kissing me in the guarantee, hahaha!”
“As long as you and Axel are happy. After all, Anima and a human being.not a suitable match,” I replied.
The sun focused the light gathering on his body, becoming a beautiful light armor. Three angel wings sprouted on his back, spreading out white feathers that were matchless. Together the lightning struck and opened the doors of heaven in the sky with a rain of thousands of swords darting at me.
I answered the rain of swords by spreading the wings of my dark roots and warding off all the moans of Mentari's despair.
“Where did you get the strength to rise from all the bad destiny that befell you? Seeing you seem always strong, I hate my small and weak self. Shouldn't you be Anima who was born of my will? Isn't it your duty to always be by my side and accompany me? Why do you always make me miserable?!” the word Mentari grabbed his own hair, and,
“Therefore you are looking for Ideal White?” my many.
Mentari held onto her claustrophobic chest and nodded, “To be honest, I don't want to make the world accept you. I. plan to use Ideal White to prevent myself from calling you into this world and making my life suffer. But, it was foolishly that I was trapped by the gods and became a pawn in their plan.”
Mentari closed her eyes poignantly, “Because of my stupid, selfish and stupid self, I ... became Obsidian Theater, the Thief of Light.”
The day Amelia chose Mentari and myself as the Hero and Demon Queen, an oddity occurred. Having the curse of the Triad Megistus made ourselves into demigod beings who had great power. To defeat me, Mentari's heart was tempted by the great power of Obsidian Theater. For years Mentari did research and in the end, he managed to unseal the monster.
But unable to control it, Obsidian Theater swallowed Mentari in his body.
To prevent Brother from destroying this world.. I also “separate” body and soul. After a long battle, I managed to extract Mentari's memories and seal them within my body. While his soulless body I sealed an ancient magic artifact that could connect the fourth dimension and this world. Until. I have enough power to destroy the Mentari body that Obsidian Theater took over.
“But the worst of all.. You, the person I hate the most in this world.It is precisely the person who cleared up all my mistakes,” said Mentari who opened her teary eyes and continued, saying,
“Why... did you get all the way to a Big Brother who was very mean to you, Moon?”
I approached Mentari, “Because I promised you,” said I reached out my hand,
“Although everyone leaves you, trust me, the Moon will always be on your side. Whatever happens, the Moon will love Brother,” I said.
I also smiled, “By loving Brother, I was able to answer the question that had haunted me all this time. If there is someone who still loves Brother, then the person as evil and as ugly as a Moon is still worthy of love,” I said.
Tears from the Mentari eye. His mouth shook, trying to say something but unable. In the end, I hugged my sister tightly, expressing my words with all my heart.
“That's enough, Brother. You don't have to hate yourself anymore. Let's let go of the past together. and start a new life together,” I whispered gently stroking Mentari's head.
“Do you think...our sins will be forgiven?” ask Mentari.
“No, but... we have enough time to make up for it,” I said patting the shoulders of the trembling Mentari, “Very much time, Brother,” I continued who quietly spread my dark roots on Mentari's body.
And before she knew it, I stabbed Mentari in the heart. I took off my embrace and saw Big Brother's surprised face, which instantly turned pale as my dark roots ferociously absorbed all of his blood.
I smiled with a grin, showing my sharp fangs, “Now, death will never be able to separate us. You and I will always be together. You won't hurt me again, and I won't be able to hurt you again,” said I, who kissed Mentari's forehead and continued,
“Isn't this the most perfect embodiment of love, Brother?”
Mentari's memory melted inside me along with her body broke into a crown of flowers that blew by the nagin. All his feelings, all the love he has received, are now part of me. An Anima was born from human desire, it was half the truth. What really happens is that when an Anima is realized, half the soul of the caller will be his payment.
As long as the Obsidian Theater's body existed in the world, the Mentari's soul would attempt to return to his body. Even perfect union will not happen. For these seven years I have amassed the power to destroy Mentari's body.
So that now, I can unite myself with Mentari and become the perfect Anima, the First Malice. And with him, the power of the Obsidian Theater and the peerless Gods.
Love that hurts others is just a mortal catexist obsession. Seeing the citna of all the people I met, I realized that true love is the power that heals and grows. There is no room for evil and other bad emotions. Love should be eternal and not lost by time. Therefore, a weak human being or Daemon who is adrift by time and emotions will not be able to understand the true meaning of love.
If the world will not accept me, then with this great power, no one will be able to hurt me. That way they will have no choice but to love me. Wouldn't I be able to feel and understand true love?
Dancing myself drowned in laughter, as the field of light blossoms slowly turned blood red. I can't wait for my tongue to taste the perfection of love.
PS:
season 1 is over\, yeeeyy !!! There are still many unfinished plots. What will happen to lumina\, Luciel\, and Arthur? In Season 2 the author will begin the story with the viewpoint of the new main character\, looking at the consequences of the choices made by Moon\, the main character of season 1.
While updating, the author will revise the previous chapter (just finished until chapter 14 nih :3, hopefully quickly finished!)
