Unsolved

I walked down the corridor to the ground floor from the third floor to the lobby of the building and everything was badly damaged by the blind gunfire, when I saw the police car coming out of the lobby door, firefighters, ambulances and several light tactical cars have already secured the area. It seems like the battle beyond is more than I imagined, the rest of the firefight can still be seen with the naked eye. "What's really going on here? isn't this too much just to kill Aida?" ask in my heart

Several policemen approached Flick and reported that we were immediately led back to Mr. Simon. From a distance I saw Mr. Simon preoccupied with all the reports, well, I admit Mr. Simon was really trying to protect me and Aida, he came down directly to the scene of the crime even though he was a state police chief.

"Ready Report General!" greet Flick to Mr. Simon, slowly Mr. Simon turned to look at us.

The burn scars on part of his face are visible from the effects of events that he had experienced before, he said, there is a black spot on his left forehead and white hair that no longer adorns his head. Mr. Simon seemed to have experienced something between life and death back then, perhaps more terrifying than what had just happened in our place. I was pensive to look at his face, his dedication to his profession as a protector of society was really high.

"Andrews! I'm glad you're all right" said Mr. Simon so happy to see me there, he immediately walked up to me and hugged me tightly

"Master Simon.." I muttered.

"I'm sorry I didn't expect this to happen, but the state won't lose to the mafia. I will certainly get this over with as soon as possible" said Mr. Simon so confidently, he let go of his arms and patted both of my shoulders.

"Thank you, those words mean so much to me" my dream, Simon's attention turned to Charlotta's handcuffed hands.

"Why is Miss Charlotta in handcuffs?" mr. Simon asked, looking down at Charlotta.

"This lady killed one of our men, General" replied Flick, who was behind Mr. Simon

"But he did it to protect Aida, sir" I said

Honestly, I didn't see what happened between Charlotta and the murdered cop, but Aida's testimony convinced me that Charlotta was indeed murdering for self-protection even though until now I was hard to believe that Charlotta was able to do it all so calmly.

"We have to investigate first what is true, because it is very unlikely that a woman like this managed to stab a member in the neck with complete equipment if she was not stabbed silently - silently" Flick explained

As I thought, anyone would think like that. Charlotta was unlikely to have an open fight with a fully armed officer, much less did she manage to stab the vital part of the policeman. I don't know what just happened to those two, but I can trust Charlotta. Not because he was seen protecting Aida, but because I just met a police officer who tried to kill Aida earlier.

"I've just met a member of yours named Officer Hansel who intends to kill Aida, Mr. Simon. I have witnesses that Rick and some of your men were directly involved, they're also the ones who killed Hansel who wanted to kill Aida" I said, at that instant I saw the shocked expressions of Flick and Master Simon together.

"Opsir Hansel? officer Rick, is that true?" ask Flick to Rick

"Ready, right commander" Rick replied

"It's hard to believe, he's one of the best officers.." sounded full of regret Mr. Simon said.

"There's a traitor in your circle, Mr. Simon" I tried to convince him

Mr. Simon has to find out who the police are trying to betray under his leadership, other than Daniel who was initially suspected by Mr. Simon. I believe there's another Daniel-Daniel who's still wandering around the circle of police institutions unknown to Mr. Simon, I don't know what really happened but because what they were after was Aida then all the keys were on Aida.

"Switch this area and look for further clues, take Doctor Andrews, Miss Charlotta, and Aida to the office and treat them very well" Mr. Simon told Flick

"Ready!" timpal Flick

"Andrews, wait for me there with Rachel and Dr. Robert. They have been revealed to me in a safe place" Mr. Simon told me

"Understand" my timp

The attack was not an attack that targeted only one person, but rather an attempted massacre. "What did Aida really know until she had to go through something like this?" the question now haunts the contents in my head, but for a moment I feel another strange thing.

"If Daniel is the villain, why hasn't he appeared before me?" my mutter, it seems like the mutter was heard by Charlotta and Aida.

"Andrews?" charlotta said to me, I turned to look at her who was sitting right in front of me

"I'm sorry, I'm thinking something" I replied

"Do you want to share it with me? I also have to know who our opponent really is" Charlotta asked

Charlotta said 'we', is she really on my side? For a moment I hesitated to share a story with him because even he was currently in the position of being a suspect in the murder case that he committed to the police earlier. But it feels like my head is full for me to bear alone. Talking to Rachel and Aida was not the right choice. I prepared all quietly so that Charlotta could understand what I was going to tell her, because honestly I felt that my emotions were unstable with the many events that happened to me.

"This is about Daniel, the son I once saved from his mental breakdown." I replied, I hung up my sentence to arrange all the things in my head so I could explain them to Charlotta completely.

"Mr Daniel is innocent, doctor.." timpal Aida broke my concentration, I turned to look at him sitting right next to me.

For the umpteenth time Aida gave her defense of Daniel, but unfortunately only the same sentence

the one Aida blurted out without more explanation.

"I try to believe that" I said to her gently, slowly stroking her head gently.

"So why are you thinking about this Daniel?" ask Charlotta curiously

"Two weeks before I met Daniel and Aida, it turned out that Daniel first met Rachel at his house. He asked Rachel for all the patient data, the data was then given to Daniel, including Aida. Now I understand what he was planning at that time." I replied.

"What's that?" ask Charlotta

"The data that Daniel asked me to do was given to convince me that in the institution there was no doctor who deserved to be a doctor for Aida other than myself, because the contents of the data were only failures" I answered, for a moment we were silent.

"Daniel seemed to have thought about that long before she met me, she knew I would definitely refuse her request to accept Aida as my patient because she knew I had left that world long ago. But the data brought with him made me unable to refuse his request after seeing Aida's condition at that time, he really understood how human emotions work" I said again explaining what was in my head

Talking about Daniel next to Aida makes me slightly hopeful that Aida will give me a little clue or even reveal a lot about Daniel to me, but it seems like a difficult desire to come true. It wouldn't be that easy for Aida to say so much about Daniel.

"Daniel is a calculating person..that's what you want to tell me, right?" charlotta asked trying to reinforce what she was thinking, I nodded a few times.

"He is a person who thinks long before stepping, because there is something strange this time." I said and hung my sentence again for a moment, I rearranged every word I had in my head to reach a temporary conclusion of what had just happened.

"Daniel.I'm sure he already knew what would happen when Aida was in my hands, someone would definitely look for Aida's whereabouts and try to kill her for whatever reason. But even now that she did not appear before me even if it was just to find out about Aida's situation, was Aida really that important to Daniel? or... does he really believe me if I can save Aida?" questioningly I told Charlotta, I needed her to help me think.

At that time Charlotta and I were just staring at each other, it seemed like she was just as confused as I was. With what happened to the West family, of course, it should have caught Daniel's attention if Aida was that important to him, but Daniel didn't seem to care about it. Similarly, when Aida was already in the capital, Daniel again - again as if he did not care for Aida. What exactly was the reason Daniel left Aida to me? if only treating his mental disorder, Daniel wouldn't have to bother looking for me.

Aida hasn't said anything, though she has repeatedly said Daniel isn't the villain, there's still a major villain behind it all and it has to do with the world I wanted that I used to say to Daniel. Butwhat? I don't know what I used to say to him. This puzzle can be answered only from two factors, Aida who spoke and said what happened actually or I can remember what I told Daniel first.

It all felt hard to solve because I really didn't know what I was really saying to Daniel, and then about Aida...  it's all about Aida's fear of uncovering what she really knows...
