“Lydia, my son.” Clarissa immediately hugged her daughter-in-law as she came. “Where have you been, darling? Mama worry loh.”
“Sorry, Mom. I suddenly wanted to come out, so I took Mr. Hadi.” Lydia smiled softly. “It just so happened that Mama didn't use the car, so I used it.”
“Ya.” Clarissa nodded. “Mama was using ojek online so fast. You are not even missing.”
“Sorry.” That was all Lydia could say to her mother-in-law.
Reino who had only had a single sentence growl chose silence since then, but anyone could tell that the man was angry. Unfortunately Lydia chose to be indifferent.
The young pregnant woman walked past her husband to reach the bed. He felt tired and felt the need to at least lie down first. He was ready to face Reino.
“Speak gently. She is young and sensitive pregnant.” Knowing that her son and ex needed to talk together, Clarissa gave the son some advice, before leaving the room.
But after Clarissa left, no one spoke. Reino only looked at his wife with a murderous gaze, but Lydia was completely unfazed. The pregnant mother simply stared out the window with a glaring look.
“You don't want to say something?” hiss Reino was still trying to suppress his anger.
“Isn't that my question?” Lydia looked at her husband with a flat look.
“I asked first, Lydia.
“But you went to the woman's place first,” Lydia's reply was still flat.
“Listen I don't know what you heard, but ...”
“I heard your conversation with Mr. Hadi,” cut Lydia quickly. “Clearly heard that going to the house of the woman who said she had a child with you.”
“That doesn't make sense,” reply Reino with a hunting breath due to emotion.
“No need to deny, Rei. The woman said you had time to go there, although soon go.”
“Shit.” Reino couldn't help but curse when he heard that. He warned Mary not to say anything.
“Just calm down, it's not him who told me directly.” Lydia's words made Reino turn her head and look at her confusedly.
“I just said I wanted to taste someone, but he immediately kicked me out,” continued Lydia explained in detail. “And he didn't recognize me before, but suddenly he recognized me.”
“Any right?” lydia asked the husband who was still having trouble breathing.
“Only one thing that makes the woman suddenly recognize me,” continued Lydia looks very calm. "Surely someone told me and it's obviously you.”
“Can be someone else,” denies Reino still does not want to lose.
“But you who just cursed and desperately denied to make me sure,” replied Lydia also did not want to lose. “Again his son also confessed when he saw your photo.”
“That's not my son. For God's sake, it's not my son.”
Lydia's eyebrows tipped up upon hearing that. He was quite surprised as well when Reino brought up the name of God to deny it.
Lydia looked at her husband fixedly. He looked through every mimic shown by Reino and it was clear that the man was panicking. Either panic from being caught or something else.
“Who knows what you are doing in a hotel room?” tanya Lydia still wants to lure her husband to be honest. “Can you guys make love wildly, to drop things.”
“For God's sake, Lydia! I have not been in contact with the woman for a long time,” hardik Reino is very frustrated because his wife does not want to hear.
“I never even really liked her. I was just playing around then. She's married anyway.”
Next to Lydia's eyebrows rose to hear that explanation. This information he had never heard. Mary only said that she would marry Reino, but did not say that she had a husband or a widow.
Knowing his wife was confused, Reino explained. She said Reino and Mary were dating, but she left Reino and married someone else. The reason is because of pregnancy.
“Since the beginning he doubted it was my son, so he married someone else. Now I hear they're divorced.” Reino ended his explanation.
Lydia nodded in understanding. He more or less understood why the woman was now back in pursuit of Reino. It is possible that the child was not her husband's son either, so she is now back to Reino thinking it may be Reino's son.
“You've heard everything, right?” reino asked, starting to look calm. “Jaid please stop acting or getting angry.”
“I've heard it all, but it doesn't calm me down.”
The answer from the wife, made Reino sigh. Though he was honest, but why did Lydia still not want to hear? Is it because of pregnancy hormones?
“You should have explained this before you left earlier.”
“But you were sleeping,” Reino replied quickly.
“You can wait for me to wake up and we can probably go together to explain this. That is the most correct way, if you guys are really nothing,” obviously Lydia still looks calm and honestly, she is indeed calmer. It's just still pissed off.
“If you have nothing with him, why meet behind me? In hotel room pula.”
“Because I don't want to worry you.”
“Don't you think by doing that I'll get more worried,” reply Lydia quickly.
“I've been worried since the appearance of the woman and you secretly went to see her.”
Reino scolded. It seems he won't be able to win this debate. He was wrong, even though he realized it. So obviously no matter what the defense is, Lydia definitely won't listen.
“Then what do I do now?” ask Reino tired. “What should I do so that you will believe.”
Lydia did not answer. He seemed to think for a moment because he was also confused.
“Can be discussed tomorrow only? I'm really tired,” Lydia finally decided.
