At first Reino just felt weird letting Lydia go on her own. Somehow he felt the need to follow his assistant and that's what he did.

Reino had heard Thalita's voice say about the thugs just as she was leaving the room, before the woman was shocked to hang up. It made him suspicious and accelerated his steps down into the lobby.

Needless to say, Reino knew Lydia was heading to the lobby. At first Reino thought she had met a man who might be her ex or something, but who would have thought she had found a sight that made her angry.

“Remove that jerk of your hand from my employee.”

Lydia instantly turned around and looked at Reino full of twinkle. Just this time he felt happy to see that arrogant superior of his. But it only lasted a little while because he remembered that Reino might be involved with all of this.

“Oh, so this is the boss?” the man in front of Lydia is now interested in Reino.

“There are problems with my employees?” reino asked with a cold expression, approaching the man earlier.

Not only was it upset that there was a commotion in his office, but Reino was also very angry. Angry at how dare someone touch hers.

Yep. His. Lydia did not agree with his offer, but Reino was sure the woman would agree. Just like their past marriage contract. Reino doesn't know and doesn't want to know Lydia's reason for acceptance, but it's clearly accepted.

“Aduh. So we were just kicked out of it?” ask the tattooed, tattooed man who came to collect the debt.

“Of course. This is the office and the deal is paid on payday. So you broke the rules, especially because there was DP,” whispered Lydia who can still be heard by Reino, making the man even more astonished.

After Lydia's reprimand, the gang of thugs didn't leave. The leader of the mob instead hugged Lydia's shoulder to whisper.

Only one word was said from the man, Reino immediately held the man's wrist, but then he twisted backwards. He could no longer tolerate that brash touch.

“I told you,” is furious Reino looks so angry. “Do not touch my employees carelessly.”

Lydia breathed between relief and fatigue. He did not directly follow his boss and look at the surroundings first.

Not many more employees were left in the lobby, but all of them whispered to each other while visiting Lydia. It made the young lady feel dizzy. There will be a lot of bad rumors that will hit him.

Not wanting to linger in the lobby and end up being scolded by Reino, Lydia immediately stepped up. No longer too concerned with people who lack work that is likely to gossip about it.

“Sorry for the commotion, sir. I will make sure it will no longer be like that.”

Lydia immediately approached Reino's desk and apologized as soon as she reached the boss's room, as well as her own. However, this should be a personal matter that has nothing to do with work.

“You want that billion dollars?” tanya Reino did not want to make small talk. He needs to know why Lydia's in trouble.

“That's a personal matter, sir,” replied Lydia firmly. Reino doesn't need to know where the money is going.

“It is no longer a personal matter if those thugs come to my office,” hardik Reino is impatient.

“And obviously it has to do with money. Which should not be a problem for people who just received 1.5 billion.”

Reino, who had been staring at his meeting documents, was now looking up at Lydia. The tall man folded his legs and clenched both hands in front of his chin, staring intensely at the woman in front of him. He wants answers.

Unable to stare at Reino who was staring at her intensely, Lydia immediately lowered her head. The gaze was so intimidating, it almost made him open his voice. It was fortunate that Lydia bowed in time.

Lydia was forced to hold her breath because of the threatening-sounding speech. He also knows that Reino has the ability to figure it out, but Lydia stays on his feet.

“Sorry, Sir. The meeting will start in less than 10 minutes. I have to go prepare his meeting room.”

Without waiting for a response from Reino, Lydia immediately turned to leave. This time he prefers to avoid, although later his boss will be furious.

“Damn once the woman,” furious Reino felt his ego was stifled.

No woman has ever rejected it and now Lydia has refused again, even just to answer a simple question.

Reino didn't want to talk about the woman anymore. He did not want to know anymore and would only focus on tormenting her. But somehow, Reino's brain and limbs couldn't work together.

The crossbreed man grabbed his phone and contacted his head of guard.

“Find out who the people were that were making a fuss in my office lobby and what it has to do with Lydia.”

“Sorry, Sir? Lydia who do you mean?”

“Do I also have to tell you about that?” furious Reino was really upset.

“Sorry, Sir. I'll find out soon.”

“Tonight. I want all the data to be there no later than tonight,” Reino said before hanging up unilaterally.
