“You're not going anywhere.”
Reino's angry hiss made Lydia flinch. Why is this man angry?
“But Sir, my mother is-”
“You think I care about your unreasonable lies? You just want to avoid me, right?”
“For God's sake, Sir. My mother just had an accident,” cried Lydia frustrated. What the hell is this boss thinking? Is that the man in front of him on his thin body or what?
Reino was speechless at the words of his assistant just now. The lie about the parents who were in an accident was fatal and Reino did not like it. But he also did not want to immediately make a decision because this news was not clear.
“You will only leave if I allow. You think this office is a joke?” asked Reino in a flat tone.
“But this is real, Sir.”
The panicked Lydia went straight ahead and showed her phone to Reino. There was indeed a text message that showed someone sending a message about Lydia's mother's condition, but the number was not known. And that made Reino suspicious.
Nope. Reino is not suspicious of Lydia, but of the sender of the message. Already from ancient times people often cheat with this similar mode. And Reino felt the need to be careful because it could have been a loan shark last time.
“Do you not know many fraud mode like this?” reino asked with a sharp look.
At first Lydia was confused by Reino's question, but after thinking about it she came to her senses. The number that sent the message was not recognized. That makes him confused.
“But at least I need to find out first, Sir,” reply Lydia looks calmer.
“I'll ask Hadi to do it,” exclaimed Reino while moving his attention to the phone.
Lydia could see the man's plump hands, dancing agilely over the phone screen. Not wanting to stay silent Lydia tried to contact her mother, but to no avail. He then immediately switched to contact his sister. Fortunately Kenzo who was not in college could go check into the hospital in question.
Even though her sister was checking in, Lydia remained unsettled. She kept trying to call her mother, no longer caring about her work. Luckily, Reino didn't care much.
“Sorry, sir I think I really should go home. My sister has gone to inform me that it is Mama,” exclaimed Lydia in panic. Unconcerned by Reino's astonished gaze, Lydia began packing.
“How can your sister find out so soon?” reino asked confusedly. Hadi has not yet given any news.
“It just so happened that he was around the hospital called in the chat earlier. Sorry, sir I'm in a hurry. Later I will make a license,” exclaimed Lydia passed away.
It was all along with the incoming message from Hadi. The head of Reino's bodyguard told him that the chat that Lydia received seemed to be true.
“Sialan.” Now Lydia must be increasingly unwilling to accept his invitation.

“Kenzo?” lydia shouted as soon as she saw her sister sitting in front of the IGD room.
“Kak?”
“Says Mama was in an accident. The car was half destroyed,” whispered Kenzo in a hoarse voice.
Lydia's stuck. His breath seemed to be stolen out of nowhere, his chest tightened and his eyes felt hot. He could not imagine the condition of the mother, if the car was like that. Surely Liani's condition will be even worse.
“You... Have you seen Mama?” ask Lydia.
Although she was shocked, Lydia tried to toughen up. There should be at least one person who can think with a clearer head. And it's definitely not Kezo's sister. Inevitably, it must be Lydia who did it.
“I only caught a glimpse of earlier when Mama was taken out of nowhere to check,” Kenzo replied with a weeping that had stopped.
“Certain administration?”
“So I took care of it anyway. But when asked for DP, I was forced to swipe the Mama card that was on me,” replied Kenzo bowed.
“Ya. Let brother find out inside first. You just wait here,” pinta Lydia rubbed her sister's arm gently.
Lydia tried to walk with a firm step toward the IGD space, though her mind branched out everywhere. Though it feels like it's only been a few hours since Lydia got out of the house, but there have been bad things that happened. It feels the same as it did with his late father. And if her mother were like that, Lydia wouldn't be ready. At least not now.
“Sorry,” exclaims Lydia when she arrives in front of a large table at IGD. There sat a nurse on duty in this not-so-crowded IGD room.
“Can be helped, Ma'am?”
“Anu, a patient on behalf of Liani Kusuma?” ask Lydia carefully. He wasn't ready to hear anything the nurse said later.
“Ah, the accident yes. Bentar Mbak ya.”
Lydia's gaze followed the nurse's movements earlier. He is seen while opening the data on the computer and matching it with the file he has in his hand. He was really afraid of hearing something unpleasant.
“The mail is still temporarily checked, Ma'am. For the initial examination, there were no serious external injuries. But later after the results of radiology came out just discussed with the doctor again ya.”
Lydia nodded with a slight feeling of relief. Yes, just a little because there are still unexamined checks. This is all uncertain.
When Lydia returned to her sister's place, there was a cop talking to Kenzo. And as soon as he got closer, Lidya could hear the chronology of the incident. Of course after being introduced as a family of accident victims.
From the CCTV monitor, Liani's old car was hit from the left by a minibus that was traveling at high speed. His car was half destroyed, but Liani did not get serious injuries because the passenger part was hit. Driver part, barely any damage.
“Fortunately there is no vehicle from the opposite direction and the car is not overturned, otherwise your mother's life may not be helped,” explained the police.
“For the culprit we have caught and are being interrogated. But their side asked through the family line only,” Pak police grimaced after saying that.
Lydia also grimaced hearing it, let alone Kenzo. Where is anyone who wants to use the family path if the situation is this severe? Lydia could guess that what she was facing was a rich man or an official.
But it's worth remembering. Lydia is not an angel who can forgive easily, even though her family is given money. It's about life and it's definitely not a trivial thing. At least they have to be responsible even if only a little. And even if it's hard Lydia will work on it.
