Beginning

A few hours before that night.

“Eh? How's Bu?” asked Lydia with enlarged eyes.

Lydia just got an intercom call from her boss who she said just finished a meeting with the big boss. And what he heard right now left him in shock.

“Pak Reino said he wanted to see you, Lyd. He wants your appreciation about last year's leak of funds and our new product budget.”

The manager's words made Lydia's eyes grow. Why would the stingy Reino suddenly want to give an appreciation? And that's for last year's events anyway. Plus the thing he was supposed to do for a new product a few months ago.

“Not wrong, Bu?” lydia asked strongly that her manager had misheard her. There was no way he could appreciate just because of such a thing.

“Not wrong, Lyd. Now go to the room on the top floor. Rarely are ordinary employees like us able to see the handsome face of boss Reino.”

Reino looked at Lydia with a gaze that was not as warm as usual. And for the sake of politeness Lydia could only bow a little, then smile soberly.

Feeling the alcohol content in the wine she drank was not so high and it tasted good too, Lydia happily drank a few more glasses. However, the glass was only a little and Lydia was sure she would not get drunk.

“Gosh. Why is the toilet so far away?” lydia protested when she wanted to go to the toilet. He was only 5 steps from the room.

At the same time, the door of the VIP room next to Lydia opened. And a familiar looking man came out from there.

Reino cursed softly when he found out that someone was pouring alcoholic beverages in his glass. He could not resist because the one he was accompanying was currently one of the raw material suppliers he was after.

From the beginning when the meeting was over and he took it to the club, Reino had wanted to refuse. But when everyone persuades you, it's hard to resist. Moreover, they were all important co-workers.
