“I'm afraid.” Lydia seemed to have wanted to cry when she said that.
“No need to fear. You'll be fine.” Reino kissed his wife who had changed into a sterile operating robe.
Yep. Today in the end pregnant women will give birth with a cesarean procedure using the ERACS method. It was the type of surgery that could have kept Lydia from staying in the hospital for long because of her faster recovery.
Lydia wanted to try normal, but she couldn't do that. The size of the baby is too big, while the pelvis is rather small. No responsibility - the weight of the baby in the womb is pierced already exceeds three comma five kilos. That made it difficult for Lydia to walk during the final trimester.
“You don't need to fear.” Lydia's mother-in-law calms her daughter-in-law down. “Zaman is modern and medical tools are also sophisticated. All will be safe.”
“I will also accompany you.” Reino stroked his wife's arm that was getting fatter, as the baby grew.
Lydia could only nod. He also only resigned when he was taken to the operating room, while Reino had to change into an operating outfit first.
“How does it feel?” Reino asked after he sat comfortably in the chair that had been provided, right above his wife's head.
“Stretch.” Lydia extended her hand to her husband. “Try to feel my hand. It's cold, right?”
“Then I'll warm it.” Reino unhesitatingly took and grasped both hands of the wife, even dipped her softly.
“Do not be weird. We are in the operating room,” hiss pregnant woman who is lying resigned, while trying to pull her hand.
“This is not strange, dear. I just kissed the back of your hand, not ate you at ba....” Reino stopped talking because his wife was now hissing more fiercely.
Reino could only laugh at his wife's adorable behavior. He then kissed Lydia's forehead to calm the woman who was now shrinking. Lydia could sense that something was moving around her stomach.
“Sick?” Reino asked softly.
“No, but .. it feels weird. You know what I mean, right? No pain, no ticklish, but I can feel something moving.” This time Lydia chose to whisper.
“Ya, I understand.” Reino nodded with a slanted smile. “Maybe similar as I move insidem ... Ouch.”
Without warning, Lydia's hand landed on the cheek of the husband who was leaning on the side of Lydia's head. The man was obviously going to say perverted things and he had to be stopped immediately.
“Sorry, it's okay. Just continue.” The woman whose stomach was being fiddled smiled at the nurse standing nearby.
“Why are you bad at your husband anyway? It hurts,” complained Reino in a slow hiss.
“That's because your mouth is so sassy.” Lydia followed hissing because she did not want to disturb the focus of the doctors.
“But that doesn't mean you can say it that hard. It's in the operating room and they're getting your son out.”
Reino again chuckled to hear the wife, but only briefly because the next second the baby's cry had been heard. That made the couple looked up, even though Lydia was a little difficult.
“Can I see it?” Lydia immediately asked, without being able to prevent it.
Not Lydia. Reino alone was already teary-eyed at the sound of that cry. It was a deafening cry, but it also sounded so beautiful.
“Let us clean first yes.” The nurse replied and immediately took the big baby away. From far away Lydia knew that the baby was big.
“Is she not too big for girls?” tanya Lydia no longer cared much about what the doctor did to her stomach.
“Of course not because she will be a model. Looks like his height is enough to be a model,” said Reino full of confidence. “Again if it is big he can definitely diet.”
“Why have you defined your son's career?” Lydia rolled her eyes with anxiety.
“I'm a rambler,” replied Reino now standing from his seat, preparing to welcome their clean daughter.
“We will initiate early breastfeeding first yes. Maybe about twenty or thirty minutes.” The nurse said that, while putting the baby in Lydia's chest that had not been covered by anything. “Later baby don't be helped ya.”
“Hai, Mel.” Reino whispered softly, trying to touch the little red baby's hand.
“Mel? Why Mel?” lydia asked in surprise and was no longer moved. “Not you want to name Aurora?”
“Aurora is also pretty, but I prefer Melody. Her voice her cry is too beautiful.” The man who had just become a father smiled to see his baby wriggling for food.
“You made me want to cry.” Lydia was pouting.
“Why? What's the name ugly?” Reino was a bit confused to hear his wife.
“No. Precisely good. Very good even.” Lydia quickly wiped away the water that was soaking the corners of her eyes.
“Welcome to the world Melody Andersen,” whispered Reino quietly, then dyed her little fingers.
