“Hah.”

I don't know how many times Lydia breathed today. It's not even lunchtime yet, but it feels like Lydia's already very tired. And this is all because of Reino Andersen, the lascivious Polar Bear handyman looking for trouble.

All because of his talk at yesterday's emergency meeting. Because of the original confession the man uttered, Lydia became the target of gossip.

Yep. Gossip target.

Already since she set foot in the office this morning, Lydia could see people looking at her. There were even some whispering in front of him. There is also a blatant insinuation.

“It is fitting that he could suddenly become an assistant even though there is already Mr. Hadi.”

“Yeah. Aku juga gak tahu apa yang dilihat Pak Reino dari perempuan kurus seperti dia. Mungkin kalau di ranjang dia liar.”

Lydia again sighed when she heard that sentence. He immediately turned around and found two people walking closer towards him. A pair of men and women. Lydia recognized them as one of the marketing staff.

“You met Mr Reino?” tanya Lydia is still trying to be polite.

“Kok you are now sitting outside? Mr Reino is bored because you are too tepos huh?” ask the man.

“I'm out because Thalita has been fired for selling company secrets. And since Mr. Reino didn't want anyone to step into his room at will, I was stationed here for a while. Besides, if he's bored, I'm definitely fired.”

Lydia's answer was very calm, making the man so embarrassed himself. While the woman grimaced and elbowed the man quite hard. The two of them finally entered after Lydia reported to Reino.

“Lydia's. You stay inside.”

“Ya?”

“Common stay,” growled Reino was annoyed at having to repeat his sentence.

“Oh, good Sir.”

Lydia was standing to Reino's right, a bit close to her boss' desk. While the two people who came facing each other glanced at each other, before handing the report to Reino. But instead of being read, the report was handed over to Lydia.

“Random,” command Reino clearly do not want to be denied.

“Eh, let us read the report sir. Fearing that Lydia will be something that is not understood,” said the man rather insistent, interrupting Reino.

“It's just your team's sales report. You think my assistant is so incompetent that the sales report alone can't?” asked Reino with glaring eyes.

Everyone fell silent and let Lydia who finally opened the report sheet by sheet. Those are the reports from the marketing teams one and two. The results were decent, but it seemed like there were some people who could not reach the target. Then there are some products that are less sold.

“The result is good sir. But it looks like we have to evaluate some people and some products.”

“Excuse me? Evaluate multiple people?” ask the women.

“I see there are about two people whose sales are a little less than the du team...“

“The problem is in the product, Ms. Lydia. There are some products that are not so popular in the market,” cut the woman.

“They are both still new children,” again Lydia's talk was cut just like that. “You also don't know the situation on the field, so please don't just conclude.”

“I haven't finished talking Ms Miranda,” protest Lydia looks a little upset.

“You never get off in the field, how do you know things like market situation?” hardik Miranda was upset.

“But that doesn't mean I don't know anything. I know who our biggest distributors are and since handled by one of the two I mentioned earlier, their take has dropped dramatically. Some even filed complaints.”

“And about the two marketing from team two earlier. They are still quite new, but the new kid from the team one is better than them. Though the marketing child of the one team just entered a month ago.”

The woman called Miranda was stunned to hear Lydia's words. Lydia had been Reino's assistant for two weeks, but why did she know so much?

Not Miranda. Reino was shocked to hear that. As the highest superior, he did not even know any of their distributors had ever filed a complaint. It might be on the report, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

“Where did you know there was a complaint? I just don't know,” asked Reino in his usual sniffle tone.

“There's a complaint report on our system, sir. The date was roughly two months ago and to date has not been addressed. I just saw it this morning.”

Now everyone is getting stifled. How could Lydia have found the complaint two months ago in such a chaotic system so easily?

“Ah, then Sir. I think our system needs to be reformed. It's a bit old-fashioned and the interface is also confusing. My time in the financial section I used to be also a bit confused adjusting the report with the data in the system.”

Reino nodded at Lydia's words. What Lydia said was not wrong. He himself is fed up with this old school system, but has not had time to take care of it with the IT section. Maybe it's time he changed a lot of things.

“OK. Then you take care of this complaint. Try as soon as possible and find out also why sales from team two are declining.”

“I Sir?” asked Lydia with glaring eyes. I can't believe he was told to do anything outside of his job desk.

“Indeed who have I just pointed at using this finger?” asked Reino very tightly.

“Sorry, Sir. But shouldn't this be traced by the marketing team? Why be me? How will dong?”

“If I have given the order there is no more objection Lydia. You know the rules,” furious Reino looks so angry.

Lydia was instantly speechless hearing that furious growl. Yes, Lydia knows all the rules in her letter of agreement. But the thing is, it only happens in bed. Not during office hours like this.

“Lydia's. You hear me?”

“Yes, Sir. I will try to resolve the complaint as best I can,” he replied with his head slightly lowered.

“And you two must help Lydia in any case,” exclaimed Reino full of emphasis on the two people standing in front of her.

“Deliver that to all team members, even your manager. And if anyone can't work together, you certainly know what the consequences are.”

Reino stared intently at the two marketing employees. The two people immediately nodded quickly, reluctant to look for trouble with Reino. And that made Lydia groan in her heart. Now the work is increasing.
