Divorce Me ~ Chapter 48
Melinda felt her heart pounding hard. He could not possibly admit the lie especially in the presence of Alisha whom he had once considered weak.
"You can get a DNA test after this kid was born Alisha. I don't want to jeopardize my fruit of love with Mas Rafa." Melinda rubbed her stomach with a sad mimic. She acts like a mother who loves her baby very much, hoping Alisha can get carried away and delay the DNA test.
"Then go now! You can come back after your child is born" Alisha casually replied. "After all, it's not my son. Whether it's dangerous or not is none of my business. You yourself are looking for disease by accusing my husband, now prove it and bear the consequences yourself!"
Melinda starts to get upset because Alisha has no feelings. The woman then stands up and accepts Alisha's challenge. "Okay, let's prove it now!"
Melinda looked hatefully at Alisha. He doesn't want to look lost. At least, there is still time to sabotage the DNA test results.

After successfully taking Melinda to the hospital, Alisha contacted Rafael to do a DNA test for the baby. At the moment, Rafael is just out of the room after his blood sample is taken for examination.
"After the results come out, we'll know that I'm innocent." Raphael sat next to Alisha. He noticed the calm Alisha and was completely unaffected by Melinda.
"Women are not likely to accuse without reason. Indeed men are the same, wherever there is a kiwi slice, that's where the mighty dragon acts." Alisha stood up from the chair and walked over to Melinda who came out with the doctor and several hospital nurses who examined Melinda.
"The result will be out in two to four weeks. We'll contact the madam, if the results come out" the doctor said.
"We apologize sir, but we can't speed it up for accurate results" the doctor replied.
"Sir, if needed, I will tighten supervision at the hospital to keep the results from being sabotaged" Felix said.
"She must also be secured with close supervision" Alisha said as she looked at Melinda suspiciously.
"I will not sabotage, you need not fear!" Melinda grunts in annoyance at being suspected by Felix and Alisha. He had to think of another way now.
"Take him to my apartment and lock him up there with some bodyguards!" rafael said firmly.
Melinda's getting cornered. He can't squint anymore now. Even Rafael was watching him.
"I won't sabotage the results of this test, but are you sure your husband won't sabotage it?" tanya Melinda is still trying to influence Alisha's mind. Whether or not it works, Melinda believes a little bit of his talk will make Alisha suspicious of Rafael.
Alisha walked closer to Melinda until the woman walked backwards and hit the hospital wall. Alisha also grinned. "Do you want me to test the DNA myself? I'm not stupid Melinda. Just think about how you've come after this!" Alisha patted Melinda's shoulder twice, then she looked at Felix as if he was giving a code.
"Felix, take care of everything! I'm going home with my wife" Rafael said.
