Divorce Me ~ Chapter 96

Anna has received word from her parents that Rafael has broken off their engagement. Because of this, he was forced to go home by his parents.

Alfaro, who has loved Anna for a long time, now has a chance to fight back for his feelings.

“You already know that Rafael only loves his wife, he only has one heart that he has always guarded. Just like I've always loved one woman and it's hard to lose that love.”

Anna turned to the man who was her former sister-in-law's candidate. The man expressed his feelings a few years ago. However, just as Rafael finds it difficult to love her, Anna feels the same way towards Alfaro.

“I know. I love El in a stupid way. I did everything I could to make her mine. I took advantage of her desperation after losing Melinda. I managed to become his fiancee. But, I'm too naive.”

After escorting Anna to the airport, Alfaro meets his parents. He wants to discuss some of the issues that have come up after Rafael's departure. He entered a magnificent house like a palace that became a symbol of the glory of the Hartono family business.

As Alfaro entered the house, his mother was crying, while his papa was staring at a piece of paper with their hospital logo on the top.

“Ma, B. What's up?” ask Alfaro confusedly. She sat down beside her mother and Shana immediately hugged her first son. “What's up, Ma?” the rest is still confused.

“Mama will die, Al. Mama's life will not be long,” replied Syana still with her tears.

Alfaro stared when he heard that. She looked at her confused papa, while Shana was hugging him even tighter. “Why did Mama say that? Mama hurts what?”

Arya Hartono handed over a piece of paper containing the test report that Shana had undergone to Alfaro. Rafael's brother then perused every word written there.

“Mama has cervical cancer? How can you, Ma?”
