Divorce Me ~ Chapter 30

Rafael looked at Melinda who was now sitting in front of him. Felix was also with him. 

“Can't we talk alone, Mas?” melinda asked as she glanced at Felix who was sitting at the table beside Rafael. 

Although they ordered two tables, but their close distance made Felix able to clearly listen to what they were talking about. 

“Can't, Mel. I'm married, and so are you. So, the presence of Felix so that there is no misunderstanding between us,” replied Rafael. 

The woman was embarrassed. Currently, there was no other path he could choose from except to ask for help from Rafael. 

“I need your help, Mas. But, I ... it's a shame,” Melinda said as she lowered her head. Clear circles of sadness flowed profusely through the corners of his eyes. There seems to be a pretty heavy burden of life that has been borne by him. 

“Help!? Even you did not explain your reason for leaving two years ago, why now you do not know shamefully ask for my help?” cibir Rafael while folding his hands in front of his chest. 

Her eyes looked at Melinda's tears which somehow did not make her touched. Whereas in the past when they were still together, Rafael would not even let there be sadness on the face of his former lover. 

“I'm sorry, Mas back then, I had no other choice. I was framed with her, and if I keep marrying you, she'll destroy your company and bankrupt you, Mas.” Melinda tried to explain but Rafael just kept silent expressionlessly. 

“Why should I go broke just because of the man who is now your husband? If you were threatened, why didn't you ever tell me the same story? Do you think now I can trust your words?” rafael asked with a look of disdain. 

Melinda looked at Rafael. He could not believe the words were coming out of the mouth of the man who had long since glorified him. It felt like this man before him was not Rafael as he had once known. 

“Mas, I'm not lying. That's the truth. I have proof that he threatened me, Mas.” Melinda opened the phone and thrust it at Rafael. 

“Mel, whatever you show, will not be able to change the fact that you left me on our wedding day. I am married, and so are you. I don't want to make my wife or your husband misunderstand.” Raphael stood up from his seat. He did not want his emotions to rise if he continued to see tears coming out of the corner of Melinda's eyes. 

“Mas, where are you going?” Melinda pulls off Rafael's hand to prevent him from leaving, but Rafael brushes him to the point where Melinda falls. 

“Just fix your relationship, don't disturb my relationship with my wife!” Rafael walks out of the restaurant followed by Felix. 

Felix was also happy because it turned out that his boss was able to firmly reject Melinda despite Melinda's tears. 

“Alisha already in hospital?” rafael asked when they were in the car. 

“They're on their way, Sir,” Felix replied. 

“Do you know who Alisha's friend the nurse is?” ask Rafael. She is a little afraid that Alisha will get help from her friend given Alisha's attitude of always wanting to get divorced from her. 

“He's just a regular nurse in our hospital, sir. Do you also want to have lunch with the Madam? Should we set a schedule so we can have their lunch?” 

“No need! You think I'm lacking work should follow it. He is an adult and there is a nurse,” replied Rafael, then looked away.
