After arriving at Jace's office. Sagara immediately explained what had happened. Can be seen the look on Jace's face that became bad after hearing Sagara's explanation.
Jace's heart throbbed in pain as Sagara recounted the events that led them to this moment.
The burden of her son's pain weighed on her like an unbearable burden and she couldn't help but feel responsible for the darkness that enveloped Rayno's life.
The lines scratched on Jace's face deepened, reflecting the depth of his grief and the severity of his perceived failure.
In Jace's eyes was a glimmer of despair and a glimmer of a father's love intertwined with a sense of helplessness.
He had tried tirelessly to reach Rayno, to become the pillar of strength and support his son needed, but his efforts seemed to have failed.
The promises Jace made to his late first wife echoed in his mind, haunting him with the potential promise of his unfulfilled promise.
Jace still remembers the radiance of joy that once emanated from Rayno, the laughter that filled their home before the tragedy struck.
After the death of his first wife, everything changed. The light in Rayno's eyes dimmed, replaced by a seemingly impenetrable darkness.
Jace blames herself for not being able to protect her son from the pain, for failing to restore the happiness they once shared.
When Sagara finished speaking, a burden settled in the room. Jace's hands trembled, a mixture of fear and determination flowing in his veins.
With a voice trembling with emotion, he called out to Sagara.
"We can't let this continue," said Jace sighing heavily and then continued speaking again.
"Rayno has every right to know that he is not alone in this, that we are here to fight for him, even when he cannot fight for himself, we are by his side"
Jace's tone of voice was mixed between grief and resolve.
Sagara nodded, his own eyes filled with empathy and care. They both realized that the road ahead would be difficult, full of obstacles and uncertainties.
But they couldn't bear the thought of losing Rayno, not when there was still a glimmer of hope, no matter how dim it was.
Sagara knew his father was always imagined events in the past. Where his father felt failed to keep his Mama so it ended like this.
Sighing heavily, Jace grabbed the family photo on his desk, a portrait of the happy moments as the bright smile of his late first wife filled their lives with warmth.
His fingers traced his face, as if seeking solace in the memory of his love and the strength he had given to their family.
In Rayno's room, Rayno is now being fed by her older sister.
Though Rayno had said that she could eat alone but her brother stubbornly still bribed her, so Rayno just let it go.
Rayno was enjoying her meal. Suddenly his older brother Lea spoke.
"Ray, are you really okay? If there's something just tell the brother or the other. We're always there for you so open up a little bit for us, just a little bit is okay"
Lea paused for a moment then looked at Rayno seriously, although Lea's gaze was serious but her tone became softer.
"That's in order to reduce the burden on your mind, you can always tell us. What you feel, what you have suffered. So don't keep it to yourself, Ray?"
Lea said at length, staring at the pensive Rayno listening to him
"I can't brother... "
Rayno said, he felt very difficult to open with his family, since his mother was gone.
Rayno becomes inclined to rely on herself to save everything without having to tell anyone.
Lea who heard his sister's reply could only smile sadly. He knew his sister wouldn't be that easy to open up to them again.
So Lea always tried to slowly approach her sister in order to return to what she used to be.
It was all so that Rayno could depend on them and not keep all her burdens alone anymore, for her sister could smile back like she used to.
"It's okay if you still can't Ray, you can always tell stories with your brother and others. If you need something you can tell your sister and the others."
Lea smiled and stroked Rayno's hair.
How much he misses his sister's once very cheerful nature. Even so Lea would wait until her sister would open up again with her and the others.
The door opened, showing William walking in and approaching Rayno and Lea on the bed, and he went straight into the room.
When William entered he immediately saw Rayno who had finished eating with Lea.
"Have you finished eating? If you have, take Ray's medicine right away. After that rest is okay"
William stroked Rayno's head and directly handed the drug to her which was immediately taken by Rayno. Then William suddenly remembered something.
"Ray can you see your hand? Just check it out for a second, huh?"
William asked as he looked at his sister. Rayno seemed to be thinking very much about what answer she had to give William.
"Just for a moment, brother just wanted to see Ray's hand" William continued to speak convincingly when he saw Rayno was still hesitant.
Lea was confused what William meant? Was Rayno hurt in his hand too?
If so it seems like he should think of a way to persuade Rayno to show her his hand.
When Lea wanted to talk, Rayno had already spoken first.
"Alright, but only for a moment" Rayno said softly as she looked at William.
After that Rayno opened a little shirt on her arm. Instantly the atmosphere immediately contained silence.
Rayno was confused when she saw that her two brothers were just silent and only paying attention to her arms.
"Ray... What-" Lea couldn't speak anymore when she saw the many cuts in her sister's hand. Moreover, the wound looked like it had just been slashed.
Just like Lea, William was also unable to say anything. He could only clench his hands tightly.
Again they fail to take care of Rayno, they do not know if Rayno will recklessly do this without their knowledge.
If William hadn't checked his brother's condition, he would never have known if there was an incision in Rayno's arm
"Ray, can sister treat him. Can ya? Brother please don't refuse, the wound will be infected if it's not treated now" Please William.
Rayno was silent but she just nodded. After getting approval, William immediately took his sister's hand with a heart, afraid if he hurt his sister.
While Lea occasionally helps William clean the wound in Rayno's hand.
Finished bandaging Rayno's wounds, William and Lea came out of the room after making sure their sister was asleep.
They'll probably report this to their father tomorrow. As it was late at night, Lea and William decided to return to their rooms.
