Chapter 7. Invitation for Dinner

After separating from Chaterine for about a year and a half, the atmosphere of the house was always quiet. But not this time.

Since coming home from the office, Daniel's face looks cramped. He also asked Helena. Usually silent and there is no discussion between them, unless things are urgent.

"Mama feels something different. Why, Daniel? Is this because of Brenda?"

Daniel immediately sat down without caring about his sweaty self. I didn't want to take a shower before I revealed everything I felt today.

"She's so pretty, Ma. Very pretty!"

This compliment is certainly not for Brenda. Helena could see the look on her face talking about other people.

"Who? Did you meet someone?"

"Not only meet, Ma. He came to my office today. Let's say this is our second meeting. You know, why am I so happy?"

Helena shook her head.

"Because he can drink coffee just like me. I just found the perfect person and have the same habits as me. Mama should meet him. Mama would have liked it."

"Yes, who? Does your mom know him?"

"No. He came from abroad a few days ago. You know Edward Harrison's brother? Successful entrepreneurs of the past few years. He's his sister, Ma."

Of course Helena was curious. Edward Harrison's name has only come up recently, but Helena doesn't know she has a sister.

Helena quickly picked up her phone and typed Edward Harrison's name there. Of course it will bring up a lot of images because Edward is already like a top celebrity.

"Is this his sister?" Helena held out her phone with a picture of Edward and Sarah.

"Yes. Sarah Victoria's. It's pretty, isn't it?"

Helena sparkles. He felt a new happiness. About his failed plan in the past, which was to have a grandchild. When he saw Sarah, his desire just grew.

When compared to Brenda, Sarah outweighs everything. He is Edward's brother. Of course Helena immediately imagined a luxurious wedding that became the center of attention of people all over the world. They will surely squander his son's luck.

Daniel's! Daniel's! Daniel's!

Like I just got a championship. Maybe that's how festive a dream wedding party is in Helena's mind.

"Let him have dinner at home! My mother will prepare everything. Make sure Brenda doesn't know."

This time Daniel and Helena had a thought. He agrees to take Sarah to his mansion. He will also ask his brother for permission.

If you look at Edward at a glance, the man looks very good. He willingly made a welcoming party for Sarah and introduced her to everyone. That wouldn't make Daniel any trouble getting permission.

A few days later, Daniel actually came to Edward's mansion. He certainly came with his hands.

"Sorry, who do you want to meet, sir?" ask the maid who greeted him.

"Is Mr Edward in the mansion?"

"Oh, looks like you're out of luck, sir. You should have made an appointment with Mr. Edward."

"Oh, so they're not here, are they?"

"Mr Edward is off to take Miss Sarah on vacation, sir."

It seems like this was a fatal mistake made. Helena had prepared a special dinner, but Sarah was nowhere to be found.

However, it seemed like luck was on his side. A car just came in. It was confirmed that it was Sarah and Edward.

"Mr Daniel?"

"Sorry, Mr. Edward. My arrival was very sudden. I was about to turn around, but you guys ended up coming too."

"Please take our belongings to our respective rooms. Don't put it wrong. Sarah, you better get in!" edward's orders.

Edward had to anticipate Daniel not to see Sarah so deeply. Don't let her instincts read that Sarah is Catherine. Although from height it is undeniable to have something in common.

"Come, comein!" Now Edward's turn to take Daniel in and let him sit in the living room. While he's up in the room for a minute to see Sarah. "Wait a minute! I'm going upstairs. There's something I forgot."

Edward remained calm. He walked slowly up the stairs. It could actually be using an elevator, but it would be even further to turn.

Edward knocked on Sarah's door and entered. Just enjoyed a very romantic getaway together, but now that annoying human has appeared.

"Edward, what's wrong? I was just about to change my shirt."

"Daniel is down. I think he wants to say something. What if he's gonna take you away?"

"Ck, don't be jealous! We spent time together to go on vacation. This is my mission, Edward. I'm sure that he won't have any ill intentions for me."

Edward put his lips right on Sarah's lips. Smack it for a while and then back off again.

"Why is that sure?"

"For five years I understood, Edward. She's scared of you, honey. You are the ruler. Don't be afraid they'll hurt me. It's just that the sooner, we'll be released easily."

So far it has worked. I came to the story of Brenda a few days ago. Just give a little touch, then Daniel will be separated from him.

"Then, come down! I'll change my clothes first" Edward said, then headed to his room.

Jealousy made Edward's heart burn. Not to mention Daniel's past treatment of deliberately driving Catherine out of her home.

Daniel and Sarah's eyes immediately clashed as she went down the stairs. Sarah's appearance is beyond doubt. She was so beautiful in any dress.

"Sorry, it's made you wait. My brother was probably exhausted, so he decided to go into the room. So, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I just brought a little souvenir. I've put it on the maid."

"Next time don't bother. We don't lack anything."

Sarah's words just now didn't offend Daniel at all. Instead, he was happy because Sarah wanted to meet and talk to him.

Daniel hangs his words until he finds the right word to say. It's wrong for Sarah to respond unilaterally.

"My mom's having dinner today. He wants to invite you to come there. If you don't mind."

Sarah took a deep breath and exhaled. He had just come home on vacation, must have been very tired to go again. However, Edward always told him to take the opportunity as soon as it was wide open.

There will be no second chance after the first opportunity is missed. Maybe this is the right time.

Daniel looks worried. I was afraid Sarah would reject him. It would be like destroying her mother's wishes.

"I'll ask my brother's permission first. I might agree to come along, but her approval is also important, isn't it?"
