Chapter 26. A Conspiracy

Sarah came with Edward. However, what concerns Daniel is that the dress Sarah wore was not her choice the other day. Instead she uses a dress that pairs with Edward's choice.

"Sarah, what the fuck? Why don't you wear my dress of choice?" Daniel started to panic.

And Helena as well. The woman felt something was wrong. Moreover, they came late. Not to mention a few surprises that made him so strange.

"Sarah, why is the color of your dress so contrasting with Daniel's suit? What's the matter?" ask Helena.

The camera spotlight and some recorders were already fixed on all of them. Something seems wrong, but they are doing their job as usual.

"I think this is just your dream, Mr. Daniel! It's not appropriate for this engagement to take place" Sarah said.

Daniel. He still does not understand what story is embedded now. Confusion also gripped everyone. They asked for the event to be held soon.

"Lawyer, please come here!" call Edward.

One man with a bag containing advanced files. His gaze seemed calm then took out a map that was handed to Daniel.

Daniel took it and opened it. How surprised that the map held was the treaty of transfer of property from Daniel Osvaldo to choose Catherine Eleanor.

"Sarah, what the fuck? You want to trick me? Is this a joke, anyway?" A series of questions came out of Daniel's mouth.

Sarah is still in her position. Standing beside Edward, holding the man's hand firmly. He needs passion to continue his plan.

"Still remember our prenuptial agreement, right? That's what you did to Catherine. If you forget, I'll remind you again!" Sarah no longer wants to talk.

Helena looked surprised. She doesn't understand that Sarah has a relationship with Catherine, her ex-daughter-in-law. It is said that Catherine has long since disappeared. He never even returned home or just stopped by the company.

"So, what do you mean, huh? You want to take the company following my house on behalf of Catherine? Who are you?" Daniel.

"Yes, don't make this joke, Sarah!" reprimand Helena.

"Sorry, there's no joke here. I as the lawyer of Mr. Edward and Ms. Sarah state that it is valid evidence that the transfer of property on behalf of Mr. Daniel was directed at the second party, Chaterine Eleanor," the lawyer explained.

Of course, that made Daniel confused. All this time he had never been in contact with Catherine or any woman in his past.

"You lied to me, didn't you? Where is Catherine? Did he intentionally use you?" Daniel tried to stay calm. He himself is trapped now. The transfer of treasure letter that was in his hands was true. Its validity was clear that its signature was also genuine.

Sarah releases Edward. He took a step forward to teach Daniel a lesson. It did not escape Brenda's sight when she saw this mess.

"You're a man who doesn't know yourself, Daniel! Look, how Brenda expects you. He was very hurt and you threw him away. Just so you know, Sarah won't be engaged to you. Especially until marriage! Enough of the suffering you gave Catherine and chose Brenda. Did you forget how to trick her then?"

Daniel quit. He tried to turn his memories back to the past. A Catherine with her plump, soft fingers, and a birthmark located above her chest made Daniel centered on Sarah's body who wore a sexy engagement dress and displayed a low cleavage. It was clearly a birthmark there and Daniel soon noticed it.

"You!" cry Daniel. "Yes, you are Catherine!"

Helena and Brenda are glued. I think this is surprising to everyone. Who's Sarah? Who's Catherine? Why did Daniel call the woman who would be his fiancee Catherine?

"Daniel, what's wrong?" ask Helena.

Some reporters seemed busy recognizing the situation that was starting to get out of hand. Others began to capture the puzzling moment.

"Sir Edward, what exactly is going on?" ask one of the reporters.

"Confession and honesty. Just wait!" reply Edward.

Brenda who was originally at the bottom, she immediately went upstairs. Where Daniel and Helena are.

"Daniel, what's going on? What does Sarah have to do with Catherine?" ask Brenda.

"That's Catherine, Brenda! He tricked us into pretending to be Sarah. He has taken all mine! My company, my house, my trust!" Daniel clear.

Only then did Helena and Brenda scream loudly at that shocking fact. They thought Catherine never existed again. But they are wrong. It was precisely Sarah's arrival that ruined everything.

"That's impossible! This must be a joke" Helena said.

"This is no joke, Miss Helena! It is a fact that Mr. Daniel Osvaldo has lost the company and the house you occupied. So, when can you leave that house?" ask Sarah.

Daniel frustration. She manages to trick Catherine, but Sarah has put her on the brink of collapse.

"Catherine, I'm sorry. I'm asking you to give me back my entire company and my house. I promise to give you back what I took from you" Daniel said.

"Wow, this is surprising, Mr. Daniel! I didn't think that you loved possessions more than Brenda or Sarah. I thought it would make you desperate, but I was wrong. It's just that I don't want to give up. So, please get out of here! Whatever is mine now, that's fair enough!" firmly Sarah.

Daniel instead of staying away, he tries to strangle Sarah's neck and make Edward intervene.

"Let go Sarah!" shouted Edward.

"No! Before he returns what is mine!" reply Daniel.

Helena tried to understand the situation. When she found out that Sarah was Catherine, she passed out.

"Aante!" peekik Brenda immediately help.

When he finds out that Helena is unconscious, Daniel pushes Sarah to the point of almost falling. Luckily Daniel caught him.

"Daniel, we'd better get Aunt Helena to the hospital. The condition is like this. I was afraid something bad happened to her. Go, Daniel!"

Daniel had to lift his mother up and get out of the ballroom. However, many see that Daniel is bankrupt and no longer the owner of company X which was forcibly taken over by Sarah. She did not expect that Catherine had returned to another form, Sarah and took refuge behind Edward's power.

"Edward, how's this? Daniel is not giving up yet" whispered Sarah as everyone began to tease the truth.

"Just calm down because my lawyer will take care of everything. Tomorrow we will come to the company as we planned" Edward replied slowly.

"Sir Edward, is this a conspiracy?" ask one of the reporters.
