Chapter 6. Sarah or Catherine

Brenda's arrival was a surprise. As much as possible he assured me that this was a misunderstanding. Daniel didn't mean to touch Sarah if it wasn't for the cappuccino.

"Don't cross the line, Daniel! This is the first and last warning. Don't try to make me angry!" reply Brenda slowly.

It seems like Brenda deliberately made Sarah self-conscious. It looked inappropriate, but Brenda sat on Daniel's thigh and kissed the man's lips at a glance.

"We had lunch together, yes" Brenda said.

"I don't think we're going alone, Brenda. I've invited Sarah to lunch together. That's if you don't mind."

Daniel lied! Maybe that's the right way to ensnare Sarah to linger nearby.

Instead of accepting, Sarah felt like a bully. He should reject it.

"I don't think it's right for you to take me when Brenda asks you to go alone. There may be some special talk you're going to have. So, I can't take it."

It was so difficult to see the scene in front of him. Although Sarah had been a bedmate for five years with Daniel in the form of Catherine. "Don't try to take Daniel away from me!" brenda said.

Sarah stop. Brenda did the same.

"Why stop?" ask Brenda.

"I'm only here for business and work. Why are you afraid I'm taking Daniel away from you? Is Daniel the booty? Um, I mean the way you got Daniel."

"What did you say? I didn't take Daniel away from anyone. A foolish wife cannot give satisfaction to her husband. Daniel would divorce her. That woman is completely useless!"

In Brenda's jealousy, she still had time to bring up Catherine's past. Had Sarah not realized herself at this time, it might have slapped Brenda in the face.

"Already, Brenda. If you didn't take Daniel away from his wife, why are you afraid of me?" Sarah leaned her face right before Brenda's eyes. "Do I look like the woman you mean?"

Brenda froze instantly. Compared to her face, Sarah's face was very delicate. He seemed to be from a crystal array. Beautiful and shiny. It was only fitting that Daniel would be infatuated with her. As a woman, Brenda admired Sarah's beauty.

Finally, the conversation ended. Sure enough because Brenda delivered Sarah to the front receptionist. There was no more talk until Sarah completely disappeared from his sight.

His knife stock's up. He forgot to ask the office boy to set it up. To support his alibi, Daniel offered an empty tissue box.

"I'm sorry. It's empty, honey. Please don't overdo it. We've been together for two years. What else can I expect from another woman? I'm also willing to leave my wife for you."

It was this speech that made Brenda stop sulking. He's calm again.

Sarah and Edward are filled with love. I don't know when they've been expressing their feelings to each other. This time it doesn't look awkward anymore.

Sarah slid into Edward's arms after doing her job today. Only a few percent of all the plans they make.

"How, Sarah? Did he hurt you?"

Edward let go of his embrace. He looked back at Sarah's face.

"Call office boy! Ask him to buy us food. I don't want everyone out there admiring your beauty right now. You know why? I'm jealous, Sarah!"

That speech was like a joke. They often say love, jealousy, whatever it is. Sometimes Edward is very unrealistic for fear of losing Sarah a second time.

"Ck, don't overdo it. I've bonded with you. I can't be like this without you, Edward."

"I hope your revenge mission is completed soon. I don't want to wait too long. Don't let your guard down when dealing with Daniel. I can break his nose if he's rude to you."

Sarah laughs. Edward is more sensitive than ever.

"Wait on! Are you worried about Sarah or Catherine?"

Actually Edward was upset that Sarah had discussed the past. During these 15 months he refrained from coexisting with Sarah. The figure that always looks perfect in front of everyone, not even one person knows that he is a fake.
