"Same," Kelvin replied with a sweet smile.
Lidya glued to see Kelvin's sweet smile.
What's wrong with me? He smiled at me a thousand times. Why does his smile feel different this time? His smile seemed to give me peace. It feels very comfortable to be around him.
Lidya said in her heart.
There was no wind, no rain but for some reason Lidya felt a sense of comfort near Kelvin.
Could it be a sign of the seed of love? No, no, no. It must be just a sense of comfort. Yeah, definitely. I'm certain.
Lidya shook her head slowly, trying to get rid of her strange thoughts.
"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" Kelvin asked as he looked at Lidya who shook her head by looking at her face.
"It's okay, I just want to go home," replied Lidya trying to hide the thump in her heart.
"Take your food, and I'll take you home" Kelvin said.
"Well," replied Lidya.
Lidya finished her food quickly.
"Have you been with the rumors about me?" Ask Lidya after putting an empty plate on the nightstand.
"Which rumor? Rumors about you women aren't true?" Ask Kelvin.
Lidya nodded.
"I've heard," replied Kelvin.
Lidya held her breath hearing Kelvin's reply.
"Do you believe?" Ask Lidya again.
"I almost believed" Kelvin replied.
"Then why are you here? Shouldn't you be better off gossiping about me because of your belief in that gossip" Lidya said back in a cynical tone.
"Hey, why are we talking in such a cynical tone?" Kelvin was surprised.
"Forget it," Lidya replied.
A faint smile was etched on Lidya's lips.
"Whatever," replied Lidya.
"Take me home" said Lidya.
"One question before you go home" said Kelvin.
"What?" Ask Lidya.
"Why do you like to play in the rain? And why do you like to ignore your health?" Ask Kelvin.
"No idea" replied Lidya of origin.
"Lidya I'm serious" said Kelvin.
"I'm serious too. I don't know the exact answer to why I did that" Lidya said.
"Just say the answer is not certain" said Kelvin.
"I didn't know it could be called trauma or not. But my behavior has been going on for almost 6 months. Starting from an incident that claimed the life of someone plus the sudden death of my mother," said Lidya.
"Is someone Kelvin?" Ask Kelvin.
"Do I have to tell you?" Ask Lidya back.
Kelvin nodded.
"Yes, that guy Kelvin. And the day after Kelvin died, Mom died too" Lidya replied.
"How can you?" Ask Kelvin curiously.
"That day was our graduation day. Kelvin and I celebrated at the cafe. And when we got home from the cafe, Kelvin's motorbike had an accident. In the accident, Kelvin was killed and I survived. Then after the accident, it rained very hard" Lidya replied.
He did not tell me that on that day Kelvin and himself had legitimately become lovers.
Kelvin nodded in understanding.
"Maybe he and I are different. We are the same as someone who loves you. If he took care of you in the past. So now and now, it's my responsibility" Kelvin said.
