Because of a Dream

Part 9's. The Truth Revealed

The boy did not tell his sister what happened. He said he was hurt because he was not careful.

Tomorrow, the boy woke up early and was desperate to work even though his sister had forbidden him. He deliberately woke up faster so that he could leave without a hitch. He did not care about his hands that were still hurting. Because the money he received yesterday made him forget.

That morning he walked fast enough not to be late in the least. Then once he got to his employer's house, he went straight to the warehouse and took his equipment and went to work.

As he was plucking the grass, he suddenly saw a cup that was stained with blood but was already dry and crusty. It made him think of the terrible events last night and become frightened. But he took a deep breath and tried to remain calm and continued his work.

Then when he was about to dispose of the trash as well as the cup, suddenly the smell of frankincense smelled and it filled the garden area. So encouraged by curiosity, he went to find out where the source of the smell came from. He went inside the house following the source of the smell but passed through the back door. Suddenly he also heard someone's voice as if he was whispering. Then he was more curious but also afraid, but kept on walking to find out.

The boy had even intended to return to the secret room out of curiosity. When he got there, he saw the door open. Then he entered slowly and saw from a distance someone who looked like his master. He was hugging the statue of the girl lovingly.

So he moved a little closer to see it clearly. And how shocked he was that the person he saw was his master.

"Could my master be like that? But he's a good man. But why did she hug the statue like she was hugging her own child?" Ask in the heart.

But because he did not want to be known, he immediately went from there and went back to work cleaning the park.

Then when it was late afternoon, he went to see his employer to ask for his daily wage. But when her employer saw her, her employer was very surprised. Because his employer didn't know he was coming to work. He said,

"Why did you come to work? I've told you to rest and not work until you've fully recovered."

"It's okay mom. I can still endure the pain and still work hard. I need money for my sister. Look at the flower garden I cleaned that ma'am. Everything is clean and tidy." He spoke with his sign language while pointing towards the park.

"Yes already. Wait here! I'll get you your pay."

Then the master went to fetch his wages and gave them. He also said,

"It! Go home and rest!"

But before the boy came home, he asked the master while showing him the cup that he did not throw away.

The master began to sweat when he saw it. "How is it in his hand? I threw it far enough?" His words in the heart. But he tried to stay calm and left without answering the boy's question.

As usual, the boy always came home with good food for his sister. They also eat voraciously and their savings money is also getting more and more.

Then when Christine wanted to go to sleep, the boy suddenly pulled her hand and told her to sit for a while. He wanted to say something serious and asked for his sister's opinion. He said,

"I was very worried and confused. I'm also very scared." Speak with his sign language.

"Why, brother? What happened to brother?

Did something bad happen to you again while you were at work?"

"Yes. You see this wound on my hand? This wound I got wasn't actually an injury from a work accident."

"What do you mean, brother? Let's talk frankly.

"So I found out there was a secret room in my employer's house. The room was spooky and dim. I was confused as to why I was so curious at the time. And follow your heart to find out. But when I wanted to get out of there, someone hit me on the head until I fainted. Then when I came to, I saw someone grab a knife and hurt my hand. It holds my blood, and splashes it on a statue. I don't know who he is. Because his face was covered in cloth. Only his eyes are visible. But I pretended to faint and endured the pain. But long ago I couldn't stand it and fainted again. But by the time I realized, I was already in the park. My hands are very sore and the bandages are covered in blood. Before long my master showed up and treated my wounds. Give me more money and tell me to go and get some rest."

"Then don't work there, brother. I'm afraid brother's in danger."

"But we need money."

"We already have money. Don't work there anymore."

"But you want a cell phone. Money is not enough."

Christine, actually, sister did not dare to conclude that it was sister's employer. The boss is known to be kind and friendly. You saw it for yourself, didn't you? We can eat well every day because of the wages he gives. He's not stingy. Even sister can buy new clothes for you and for me too.

But I'm confused. Maybe someone else in the house did. But my employer lives alone in that house. My brother is getting confused."

"yes too. But if big brother's employer is the culprit, what's he doing all that for?"

"Sister doesn't know either. That's why my sister asked you to talk and tell you all about it. Brother wishes you could come up with a solution."

"Mmm, here's how. How about tomorrow I go with my sister to work?"

"Don't! Wh-wh-what for? I don't want you in danger. Let brother find out for himself."

"Sister can't because it has to work. I'm not a coward anyway."

"But what? Anyway, I'll come tomorrow. I want to see what kind of sister's employer."

"Then if he asks who you are, what will he answer?"

"Don't! Because he might hurt you. I saw that he missed his daughter very much. He's very mysterious."

"As far as you are. But I will always take care of you because you don't want to lose anyone anymore. I'm tired of living alone. And I want to always be together like this, like a family."

"Well, we better go to sleep now so that tomorrow we can wake up faster. I'm sure that big brother's employer is a bad person. He must be hiding something."
