Because of a Dream

Because of a Dream
Part 8's. Work That Doesn't Produce Results

The next day, the boy woke up early and left Christine still asleep. This time he left without saying goodbye.

He walked hastily to his employer's house and wished his employer was there and saw the results of his work so that he could ask for his wages.

Arriving there, he immediately opened his gate and walked slowly. He looked around very carefully.

When he was standing at the door, suddenly the wind blew and opened the window of the house. The atmosphere became a little tense. But being so curious, he opened the unlocked door and continued to walk in search of his master. But his employer does not exist.

No one's neighbors knew. The woman was well known in her neighborhood and was very friendly to each of her neighbors. If he left, someone would know. But it's been days since her employer was invisible, no one knows.

Then when he stepped into another room, his gaze was suddenly sidetracked by a closet that shifted slightly from its position. Then he looked up at the closet and found a white scarf hanging there. The atmosphere is quite dim. So he looked for the light switch and turned on the light.

When the lights were on, he saw a doll whose one eyeball was missing and there were many blood spots on his face. The face of the doll was also slightly shattered as it was filled with knife incisions.

I don't know what happened in that house. Then he also found a photograph tucked under the doll. And behind the photo was a sign that read, 'My beloved daughter.'

He became more and more confused and afraid of everything he saw. He recalled that his master had said before that he only lived alone. He has no family or even relatives.

So as her curiosity grew, she tried to find out by looking at all parts of the closet. And suddenly his eyes saw a narrow slit behind the closet. He shifted the cupboard so that the gap became a little wider. It turned out to be a basement. The room was quite deep. Many children.

Then he went down inside and saw a small statue. The statue is a statue of a long-haired girl. The statue was also dressed in a dark red dress. The statue has a beautiful face. He continued to observe the statue and saw that there was an oddity. The statue's hair was like real hair. And the body of the statue is also not too hard like a mannequin statue in general.

Around the statue there are also several bottles of balsam that he himself does not know its usefulness. Then he became more and more afraid. So he decided to get out of there immediately.

But as he turned around and stepped a few steps up, someone hit his head quickly until he fainted. I don't know where he came from. Then the man dragged him and tied him to a pole. Then said,

"You delivered yourself to me. Finally, after waiting for quite a while, I was able to find a replacement for my son. My daughter must be tired of being a statue here. Then you're the one who should replace her."

Then he started doing some rituals.

And while the boy was still unconscious, the man began to prepare the sacrificial fire and recite a series of prayers before the bound boy. Then some incense was burned until the aroma filled the whole room.

After some time, the boy began to come to his senses and opened his eyes slowly. His eyes were still blurred but he was trying to recognize who the person standing before him was and turned his back on him. The man continued to recite his prayer ritual.

It was very difficult for him to be able to recognize who that person was because the room was quite dimly lit. After that, the man moved and shifted the statue of the girl to the boy's side. The boy closed his eyes and pretended to faint. Then the man said again,

Then the man went to get a very sharp knife and directly scratched it on the boy's arm until the blood splashed and gushed. But he immediately took a cup to hold his blood. That day the boy wanted to open his eyes. But he was scared and tried to endure the pain and kept his eyes closed.

After the man took the child's blood, he sprinkled it on the statue of the girl.

The boy grew increasingly limp and was no longer able to endure his pain. He fainted a second time. Then the person who covered his face wrapped his wound after being allowed to gap long enough. After that he took the boy to the garden and laid him among the frangipani flowers and left.

Hours later, the boy regained consciousness and opened his eyes. He felt a great pain in his arm. He was crying because the pain was overwhelming.

Then shortly after, someone from a distance came over to him. He asked, 'em,

"Hey, what's up, son? Why are you lying here? And why are you crying?"

That person was none other than his own master. Then say again,

"Son, why is your hand hurt like this? Are you working less carefully? Come awake! I'll treat your wounds."

So his master helped him up and took him to the porch of the house. Then he picked up the P3K box and replaced the blood-stained bandage. Then he said again,

"Oh yeah, have you eaten? Waita minute. I'll get you some food."

Then he went to the kitchen and took a plate of food and a glass of milk and gave it to the boy.

"Son, eat first so you're better off.

You must be looking for me everywhere, right? I went out of town on a sudden business. But nevermind. After you're done eating, you better go home and rest."

After the child had finished eating, the employer went and took the money and gave the child a wage. He said,

"For a while you don't have to work until you've fully recovered. Take this money and treat your hands to a cure."

The boy just nodded his head in agreement. Then he'll be gone. Although he was still weak and feeling sick, but he could still be happy because he never earned a lot of money.

Then she went to the food stall and bought some good food for her and her sister. She also stopped by a clothing store to buy new clothes for her and Christine. Not to forget he also bought medicine and ointment to treat his wounds.
