Part 21's. Starting a New Sheet and a Scary Dream

Day after day passed and the woman's health gradually recovered so that they were allowed to go home.

The woman and Christine went home accompanied by the boy.

At first the woman refused. But Christine kept begging in tears for her mother to accept her sister just once.

"Please don't do that. Brother has helped us a lot all this time. Who makes money and buys food for me? Brother! If it wasn't for my sister, what would I eat? The money we have is just enough to pay for the hospital. That was coupled with the salary of my brother working in the workshop. Brother is not a bad man ma'am. Please understand."

But the boy kept quiet and hoped the woman would accept it.

Finally, after being pushed continuously, the woman could no longer resist. Christine continued to beg and even threatened to run away if her mother still insisted on her feelings. So the woman reluctantly allowed the boy to stay with her.

As the day passed, the boy always showed kindness and affection to him during his stay at his house. Makes the woman's heart slowly recover. Later he began to be able to get rid of his wrong thoughts and love the child.

But to be able to continue eating, the boy continued to work hard day and night in order to earn extra money. He was also willing to reduce the portion of his meal so that he could share it with his sister and the woman.

Every now and then the boy came home with food given by his employer while he was working in the workshop.

And when he gets tips from customers who are satisfied with his job, the boy unequivocally invites Christine and the woman to eat well outside.

Looking at all the struggles she was doing day by day, the woman's heart was increasingly overwhelmed with guilt over her past crimes. It is a senseless vendetta that is wrought upon the innocent.

One day, when the boy had just come home and was sitting on the porch of the house, the woman quietly approached him despite her doubts. He approached the boy because he wanted to apologize.

"Son, I'm sorry. All this time the attitude of the mother was wrong and unreasonable. But you never left us. You even helped us get food. I owe you a lot. How lucky a mother is to have a son as good as you."

The boy did not answer. But just listen and be touched by his heart because finally the woman regretted her actions. Then the woman said again,

"Son, I can't bear to see you work too hard every day. I also want to help ease your burden. Try asking your employer. Would she buy the things that mom has in this house.

Some of you will sell so we can keep eating until you get a job. I can't bear to see you every day coming home late and working hard for us."

The boy simply nodded his head approving of his entire words. Then pamit.

Then the next day the boy went and delivered all the words of the woman to his master, just as he had said.

And luckily, his employer wanted to buy some sofas and tables that he would later put in the workshop as a resting place for customers waiting for the service of his vehicle to be completed.

So the owner of the workshop immediately went there by driving a pick-up car and brought three employees to transport the goods he would buy.

Seeing one by one his belongings were transported into a car, making the woman powerless to hold back her tears. But he had to do it to help the boy and survive.

After receiving the money from the sale of her belongings, the woman went to her room and sat contemplating. He thought about how he would use the money carefully and precisely.

The rest of this money I will use for business capital. Yeah! I'll try a small business. Maybe selling food, like cake. Yeah! I hope I can run well."

After that, the woman went down to meet Christine in her room and took her shopping to the market.

The woman bought a lot of groceries. Like rice, fish, vegetables and fruits. Then he said to Christine,

"Today I'm going to cook good food for the three of us. I want to start a new life from the prayers of the three of us. We should always be compact and work together like a family."

"really? I'm so glad to hear it, Mom. Finally, what I have been craving all this time can be realized. Thanks mom." He hugged his mother tightly.

So from then on, they lived the days with a compact and affection like a real family.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long. One night the woman had a nightmare about her ex-husband. The man came with a knife in his hand and chased after him trying to kill him.

The woman ran with all her might avoiding the man's pursuit. As he ran, his mouth kept calling out the word 'Please....!' But no one heard it.

Until finally the woman was no longer able to run because it had run out of energy and finally fell at the feet of the man.

Seeing that he was already drooping weakly, the man was not pity. But it dropped the knife quickly into the woman's neck. There was not the slightest pity in the eyes of the man even though the woman had repeatedly begged and begged for his mercy.

Then at once, the woman woke up from her sleep and later realized that it was just a terrible dream. However, he was very scared and overpowered by excessive anxiety. He sat on his bed and pulled his blanket over his neck and trembled with fear.

Sometimes she screamed uncontrollably from the fear until her voice woke Christine and the boy. They immediately ran to his mother's room fearing that something bad might happen to him.

But when the woman saw the boy standing in front of her bed, she immediately got up and attacked the boy until he fell. He screamed, he screamed,

"Are you still not content to hurt me? You can't hurt me so easily. It's me who's gonna make you die."

She and Christine were both confused and frightened by the sudden incident. Then the woman quickly broke a vase, took out a piece of glass and attacked the boy until he bled.

The boy tried to escape the woman's grip as he wanted to hurt her even more. But not staying silent, Christine pushed the woman strongly so that her brother could survive her mother.

When the woman fell, Christine quickly locked her mother in her room and ran after her brother.

The woman rebelled and continued to smash through the door of her room while shouting to finish off the boy.

While Christine and the boy continued to wait outside and let the woman get tired of shouting and stopped by herself. Then the boy said,

"I was so scared and shocked that I almost died. I almost died at his hand. It seems I can no longer let you stay any longer with your mother. What if I was you?

Nah! You're all I have in this world. I'm so sorry I brought you here. We better get out of here."

"No brother! I can't leave my mother in that condition. What if he lost control and acted recklessly?

No brother! I can't. After all, my stepmother has sacrificed a lot for me."
