With a wounded heart and unstoppable tears, Tristan heard his wife's words.
"Did I mean anything to you all this time? Have you thought I existed all this time? I'm just your stupid woman Tristan. I stand beside you, but you admire other women. In this house I am only your housekeeper. Not your wife" Nadia said in a hoarse and sobbing voice.
"You never appreciated me Tristan. Your own attitude has eroded all my feelings for you. You alone have torn down the foundation of my love for you," continued Nadia again.
"You're ashamed to have a wife like me. Only graduated High School and do not have broad insight? You're even ashamed to introduce me to your friends. I never expected you to be proud to have me, but at least you can appreciate me."
It was now her turn to speak after hearing Nadia's expression of feelings.
"You know for yourself, right? I'm not Nadia's romantic guy. If you think I admire other women, what on that basis do you betray me? You're having an affair with my friend? What you did was much more cruel to Nadia, not only betraying me, but also trampling on my pride" he said with a hunting breath holding back an outpouring of emotion.
He admitted himself wrong. Maybe all this time less attention to his wife. Perhaps his words also often hurt his wife. Or maybe Nadia has grown tired of their domestic life. So easily tempted by the charm of Bimasena.
Should Nadia's mistakes be forgiven? For the rest of his life he will never be able to forget Nadia's betrayal.
But Nadia's subsequent remarks made it look like a nuclear reactor was about to explode. Destroying everything.
"I was wrong Tristan. Ii'm sorry. A woman like me doesn't deserve to be your wife. And now I am pregnant. Probably from Bimasena."
"So .. divorce me Tristan!"
********
Nadia looked at Tristan's back, who left for the office without touching the breakfast she had prepared. He could understand how disappointed Tristan was, his emotions and injuries.
However, as a wife, her heart also hurt, seeing Tristan's sadness. Moreover, Tristan went to the office wearing a mask to cover the bruises on his face.
Maybe from now on, he should get ready. Tristan is going to divorce her.
His head suddenly dizzy thinking about that. If Tristan divorces him, he will lose the salon as his source of income. He can no longer pay credit at the bank. His parents' house, which was tenaciously preserved, will be confiscated by the bank. And what about the school fees of his parents?
He has to think about what work can be done next. Applying for a job relying on a High School diploma? What company can accept it? While in his womb already residing fetus that will be born and requires a fee.
Who can help him get a job?
A bimasena?
He no longer wants to hope in a man who comes just a test of the ability to conquer people's wives. Just looking for a challenge. Once satisfied, Bimasena would definitely leave him.
The burden he carried multiplied many times. His shoulders are so fragile. So he walked to the sofa and laid his body there. I hope he falls asleep soon. And never wake up again. Because his world is full of fatigue.
But the sofa again reminded of the events of that night. He was very sure that the seed that was planted in his womb at this time began to grow when Bimasena did it on the couch that night.
Remembering him made his heart sting even more. How easily Bimasena ransacked his soul, swaying his feelings. Falling in the vortex of the man's romance game. Who did the same to some of the other women.
Now it was crushed into scattered dust. No one is left out. Household, work, and the shame he had to endure for life. All because of his weak faith.
Maybe if time could be repeated, he would never come to the reunion. In order not to meet Tristan also Bimasena. Because it was this reunion that brought disaster to him.
Does he regret knowing Bimasena? I don't know. But from the bottom of his heart, he had fallen in love with the man. He loved the man more than his affection for Tristan. But now he is disappointed. It turns out Bimasena is not the right man to hang on to hope.
Not yet he fell asleep, disaster came back to him. Because through the window glass he could see an Audy R8 gray car pulled over right in front of his house.
Is he not dreaming? How could it be that in such a precarious state, that man dared to come to his house? What if Tristan finds out about Bimasena's arrival? A third world war could break out in Jakarta.
In a panic, he got up from the sofa. Moreover, seeing the tall figure get down from the car and walk towards the door of his house.
He opened the door, even though it had not been knocked.
"Why did you come here, Bim? Aren't you satisfied fighting with Tristan?" Perhaps he is not a good host, who welcomes guests politely. The breath of hunting is like seeing a ghost. His heart was filled with anxiety.
But the guests were even more disrespectful. Unwelcome, break into the house. Close the door and lock it from the inside. Makes her panic. What if Tristan suddenly comes home?
Without feeling guilty, the man sat on the sofa. Very calm, did not look as scared as he felt. Perhaps the human soul was made of stone.
"What the hell is Bim?" his protest. He felt very frightened and depressed with Bimasena's attitude. If Tristan finds out about this, the dispute will get bigger.
"Why don't you want to answer my call? Why suddenly change?" Bimasena strafed him with two questions at once. "You don't want to come with me anymore?"
"Come with you? Joining Zoya, Aulia and Aurel?" He replied to Bimasena by standing in his place to keep his distance from Bimasena.
Instead of being surprised, Bimasena laughed. Then shook his head. "So you're jealous?"
Bereng sek isn't it? When he was already emotional and almost crying, Bimasena even laughed at him. Think of him as jealous anyway. Making the lion cub in him wake up, the desire to pounce and claw Bimasena.
"So that's why you're angry? You must have heard from Alfredo, right?"
"Nadias. Don't trust people too much. No one will support our relationship. They will always try to get you back to Tristan, and derail our relationship" the man said.
"Why blame them. Instead I am grateful, getting information faster than Alfredo about who you are," he said while swallowing aggravation.
"Nadia! I have no special relationship with Zoya and Aulia. Aurel, only my secretary. But if you don't like it, I'll replace the aurel with an old male or female secretary."
"If you don't have a special relationship why often party with Zoya? Why do you often date Aulia?" Now he wants to scratch Bimasena.
"It's not just because the party and dinner together can then be said to have a special relationship. If I have a special relationship with Zoya or Aulia, why am I after you?"
"Because you like Bim's challenge" he said.
Bimasena laughed cynically. "I really like Nadia's challenge. But my brain is still normal to think that something like this is a challenge."
"You think I don't have the heart to ruin people's homes? My own friend anyway. Do you think I'm not ashamed, having to fight like a child because of a woman?"
"If it wasn't for me loving you and loving you, I would never have done this kind of crazy stuff."
"You lied to me too" he said in a hoarse voice. Almost crying.
"Why lie?"
"You're still racing, right?"
"Yes, if that's true. I'm still racing. But only twice since you banned. But I promise you, I won't do it again if you don't like it."
There was no gurat of lies he saw from the man's face. Or is Bimasena good at lying?
Perhaps Bimasena was tired of being constantly harassed by him, so he hurriedly wanted to end their debate.
"It's Nadia, if you don't believe me and don't want to do what we've planned. But do not ignore the fetus in your womb. Get prepared. We're going to obgyn's doctor."
"For what?"
"Yes check your content. You haven't treated yourself like pregnant, have you?."
"No need. I can do it myself."
"Well if you don't want to go to the doctor with me. I called Tristan to take you to the doctor" heed Bimasena as he picked up his phone.
"Don't Bima," Nadia screeched. "Don't start a bigger war. I could die standing up because of you."
"Follow me to the doctor or I'll call Tristan" the man threatened.
"Alright, I'll come with you to the doctor" he replied with a grumbling face.
He went into the room to change his clothes. Look for clothes that match the navy blue shirt that Bimasena wears.
Why should it be compared? Are they husband and wife who went to the village?
As soon as he arrived outside, he saw Bimasena smiling triumphantly.
Look at that guy! In such an important state, you can still laugh and smile.
And once on top of Bimasena's car, he had to hold his breath for a moment, as the man's hand moved to install his safety belt. Even though he can do it himself. It's even very easy to do.
Small attention that means a lot. For a woman who lives in the Sahara desert like herself. Though he still wants to be angry about Zoya, Aulia, Aurel and race on Bimasena. His anger suddenly caught up. His intention to pounce and claw Bimasena evaporated.
After the man had fitted a safety belt for her, Bimasena's hand was trying to reach something in the back seat. Then give him a container containing pieces of fruit, nuts and UHT milk in a box package.
"It's a variety of cut fruits and nuts that are good for young pregnant women. Be eating. Her milk. You should drink this milk, because it contains a lot of folic acid and iron. Folic acid is important for preventing birth defects in the baby's brain and nerves."
She never even thought about what food she should eat as a pregnant woman, but Bimasena already thought about it.
Can he still be angry that Bimasena is like this? All his anger and disappointment in the man falling to the earth changed his taste.
He glanced at the face of the man who was now driving his vehicle.
The bruising on his left temple Tristan's former punch makes it even worse. Since Bimasena had never fought Tristan at first, he had become a target of Tristan's martyrdom. Until when Tristan slapped his face, then Bimasena angry and beat Tristan.
"Why not wear a mask?" He remembered how Tristan had put on a mask to cover his bruised face.
"For what?"
"Let the bruise not be seen."
"Why should it be covered? We have to accept the consequences of what we do" the man replied without looking back at him.
He was silent, not knowing what to answer.
"Stop" he said as their vehicle passed through a pharmacy.
"What do you want to buy?" bimasena asked curled towards him
He got out of the car without answering Bimasena's question. Then back on top of the car was carrying a cream in his hand.
He opened the lid of the cream, then applied it to the temples of Bimasena. But his hands suddenly trembled as Bimasena turned towards him, staring at his face fixedly with firm brown eyes as he applied the cream. So he hurriedly closed the cream tube back, then sat facing forward to avoid the piercing gaze of the heart.
But Bimasena's hand moved, grabbed his right hand, and then kissed it gently. One vibration ambushed him as he felt the soft lips on his hands, stirring up a swish in his bloodstream.
Oh God ...
The swaggering little candle melted instantly. Just because of the warm breath the man breathed in his hand.
Nadia was again crushed by Bimasena, the man who destroyed all logic. He had lost his way on the path the man had created, and no longer knew the way back.
