Apocalypse After
Winter Arrives

Without feeling the time just passes.

It was now the last day of the ninth month, and winter was almost here. Not only had the foliage been shed, but the temperature had also become increasingly cold. It was colder than the previous months.

In this month, Alexander did everything as usual. Hunting with Aurora for three days, and being at home for four days. While at home, in addition to training in swordsmanship, he also trained in his telekinesis abilities. Of course, in a clandestine manner because such an ability did not want him to show it to the public.

In the backyard of a rather spacious house and covered in fences, Alexander was busy practicing.

Swooshes! Swooshes!

The sword swung very fast. Not just a straight slash, but many curved and piercing movements. The movement is very fast, but it also looks so beautiful and elegant. It was not as if he was practicing the sword, but was dancing under the moonlight and stars.

If Aurora saw him, the woman must have been very surprised because ...

The swordsmanship that Alexander used was completely different from the ‘ basic techniques’ had mastered in depth and demonstrated all along!

“Huh!”

Alexander who had just completed the final move immediately let out a long sigh. The young man then wiped the sweat. Although his training was not simple and progressing, but he was still not satisfied.

‘Using telekinesis to control some daggers can still be done. Using telekinesis to control the wind and sharpen the blades is still difficult. Although it would make the sword skill even more powerful and ferocious, but it was difficult to do.

As I recall, it was necessary up to level 3 to properly control the energy around the sword. However it seems like I can do it after breaking through level 2. As for the technique for throwing sword energy ...

Who the hell is so crazy to make this kind of swordsmanship? Instead of controlling things like a regular telekinesis user, instead using the wind? Wind is heavy? Yep! But who would think to control it and make it into a bar!’

Alexander complained in his heart. Even so, he also felt admiration for his ancestor who thought of such a somewhat crazy idea.

Sitting in the backyard while enjoying the moonlight and gusts of the night wind, the young man muttered softly, “Controlling the wind is a duty. But to perfect ‘Phoenix Dance’, miracle root type ‘itu’ absolutely must be required.”

The more he thought about it, Alexander became even more depressed. At first, he just wanted to live life casually until he finally died peacefully. But fate would not allow it.

Feeling the heavy weight on his shoulders, Alexander complained in his heart.

‘Last Successor of sword flow ‘Phoenix Dance’ ... This heavy title is really not something I want to slap.’

If ‘Phoenix Dance’ is just an ordinary swordsmanship, it's fine to look for disciples and spread them out. Only, the technique could only be done by his clan. Requires telekinesis abilities and various special exercises that only his clan's blood has.

Alexander shook his head. The young man got up and went into the house. Arriving at the room, he looked towards the bottle containing a dark purple, almost black potion with a complicated expression on his face.

“Who would have thought, I actually managed to get the 4th potion before winter arrived.”

After saying that, Alexander let out a long sigh with a tired expression on his face.

---

Next morning.

Alexander's training in the backyard. The young man swung his sword with a serious expression on his face. After drinking the evolution potion, he wanted to immediately control his strength well.

At that moment, Alexander stopped his movements. Turning his gaze upwards, the young man saw a dark cloud covering the sky. Completely cover the morning sunshine and prevent it from warming this world.

Point after point white began to fall from the sky. Looking at the slowly falling snow, Alexander let out a long sigh. The steam from his mouth showed how cold it was today.

What Alexander heard was the sound of the violin, something that was really rarely played let alone so loudly. It was as if it was echoing in the skies of Shelter 13.

The beautiful sound of the violin echoed, clearly attracting the attention of many people including Alexander. Merely, the young man was completely uninterested in her beauty. Instead, he felt that there was something strange.

Alexander went straight to the house. He changed clothes, brought complete equipment, put on a robe and mask and went to the location.

Arriving at the source of the sound it came from, Alexander stopped because of the many people who were watching. A lot of Hunters were watching from being apprentices to there were some old men at level 2.

On the roof of the highest building in District 3, a white-robed figure with a hairy part was playing the violin. His body was not tall, it even looked rather short. He also wore a white mask with the symbol ‘IV’ on his forehead. From the long wavy blonde hair blown by the wind and the small hand holding the violin, it seemed that she was a female.

Looking at the woman, most were stunned by the beautiful music she brought. Merely, Alexander and a few old veterans at level 2 had serious expressions on his face.

Don't look at how cute that girl is. Yet they could clearly feel a gap far away.

‘This power ... at least level 3!’

Thinking of that, Alexander suddenly trembled slightly. As it was known, level 3 could already be the leader of the intermediate shelter. In high-level shelters, the numbers were extremely rare and could be considered as higher-ups. Maybe not as many fingers on both hands!

(If you want to hear, you can find Mazurka in A Minor, Op. No 67. 4 – Chopin violin version.)

‘Why? Why would such a person appear in a place like this?’

Looking at the mysterious figure playing the violin under the gray sky and the falling snow, Alexander clenched his hands so tightly.

By the time the woman finished her performance, she slightly bowed to everyone. Immediately, a standing ovation greeted him.

The woman then repackaged the violin into a special bag made from the skin of a certain monster. Standing casually on the roof while carrying a black bag in his left hand, he finally said.

“Suadara-my sisters, no matter whether you believe it or not, I have come to deliver the news.”

The female voice that sounded soft and magnetic echoed. As everyone looked towards him, he began to continue.

“Outside of Shelter 13 starts to get messy. This winter, food will be harder to get. Many of our brothers and sisters will die in the heat. Also, the higher-ups had hidden the important news.

In this winter ...

Waves of ferocious beasts will occur and eventually affect this 13.” Shelter

Hearing his words, many people were stunned in his place. Moments later, many people started running back to their residence or where the guards were. Clearly feeling angry, confused, and questioning the truth.

At that very instant, Alexander slightly understood what the purpose of the woman was to summon many Hunters to this place. Yes ...

Creating chaos!

Only, Alexander still did not quite understand.

‘Why? Why would he do this kind of thing?’

Ignoring the passers-by around him, Alexander continued to stare at the woman without moving out of place.
