Apocalypse After

Apocalypse After
Threats

One week later.

In one of the most beautiful houses in District 4, Melissa looked paced with a worried look on her face. The woman bit her thumb, looked gelisan and quite depressed.

“Why? Why did it all turn out like this?” muttered Melissa.

The woman felt depressed because things did not go according to plan.

At first, Melissa had absolutely no intention of interfering with the affairs of Shelter 1. However, his plan became a mess. According to his plan, the woman had to report the problems that had occurred in Shelter 11. After that, he would receive an official letter on what to do next. Finally, it went straight back to Shelter 11 and took the seat of the family head. Replacing his mother who was busy taking care of Shelter 11 after being appointed.

It's just, all strayed away from his plan. The letter he was supposed to send could not be sent directly because the center of Shelter 1 was now a sealed place for unknown reasons. At first the woman suspected it would not be delayed long, but instead delayed very long.

Melissa herself wanted to protest. However, that kind of intention he paused because it was not just him, but there were some representatives from the middle-level shelter who had also come to report. It seemed that they had also lost the chairman, some were even nearly annihilated evenly.

Unable to advance or retreat, Melissa could only bite her lips, holding in place with a depressed expression. It even had to bear various responsibilities that originally did not have to be done, for example helping to fight against the waves of ferocious beasts of this shelter.

Unbeknownst to Melissa, Claude leaned against the wall outside the small room. He looked at the ceiling with a cold expression on his face.

‘If it continues like this, then the delay will take too long. What should I do now?’

Thinking of various unreasonable means, Claude shook his head. In the end, the man muttered softly in a voice that only he could hear.

“Be quiet here is not the solution. I have to go out and try to get some useful information. At least, it's better than being silent and taking everything for granted.”

Finished making the decision, Claude went to his own room and changed into the hunter outfit he used to wear. Then, the man left the house, went to District 3 to look for information.

Arriving there, Claude began to walk around. After walking around for a while, he suddenly obtained quite interesting information, even if it was not very useful.

Not far from him, Claude saw a shop. It is small, only one floor. However, the place is in a fairly strategic place because it is still in the central area of District 3. In front of the store, the name ‘Vermillion Shop’ is written very beautifully.

In the shop, Claude saw many people coming and going, especially the novice adventurers and low-level hunters. This makes it impossible not to be surprised.

‘Stores that are considered magical because they are very crowded and become popular only after one opening week, huh?’

Claude shook his head.

“Now is not the time to think about this kind of thing.”

Claude is gone. As he walked away, he met three black-robed figures who had crossed paths with him. Only, the man did not realize that the three of them had seen and noticed him for a moment.

Meanwhile, inside the Vermillion Shop.

In addition to the three small rooms at the back of the building, there is a large room right in the front of the building. Not too wide, but enough to put some shelves, and dividers.

As a guarantee of safety, Alexander deliberately made the front of the barrier empty, and on the back contained shelves with displays of various equipment and rows of potion bottles. Buyers can only watch from outside the barrier, queue to check items or buy the ones they like.

At the front of the barrier, there were several long wooden chairs. Where people can sit while in line after taking a number.

“Anu! For those who have just arrived, please take the number first. Without a queue number, you will not be called and served, so please do not make a fuss. Please take a queue number and sit down,” said Nene who was directing at the front of the store.

Although the shop was small and had not been open for long, it was very crowded. You could say, various potions sold on the same day sold out. Of course, it was because Alexander did not sell in excessive quantities. Do not want to be too flashy and suspected by the people above.

There is another reason why the store is so crowded. In terms of price, potions, ointments, and some other consumables have cheaper prices and better quality than other stores.

There are also people who have tried to buy equipment. Although the process is complicated, but the equipment sold has a standard price, but the quality is very good. Suitable for breeders, even some veterans but still at a low level.

“Please get me 2 recovery potions (low level),” customer said A.

“Please get 1 recovery herb and 1 poison antidote herb,” customer said B.

“I order 1 recovery potion and 1 bottle poison antidote ointment (small),” customer said C.

One by one, customers start buying. The number of purchases per person is not much, but as the saying goes, little by little over time becomes a hill. The number of buyers is many, so even though they only buy a little, the total sold is indeed a lot.

Behind the counter, Jane patiently served the buyers. Of course, with a flat expression as usual.

Meanwhile, Alexander was busy in the back room. Aurora, Aster, and Daisy go outside. Not only to practice, but also to show that they are free hunters. Alibis are not suspected.

“Sorry, for today's potion sales are closed because it is up,” Jane said with a calm expression on her face.

Hearing Jane's words, many people let out long breaths. At first, some of them protested. But after learning that the potion was made by the boss himself and the daily amount that could be sold was limited, they chose to let go. After all, if the boss sulks and does not want to make potions, they themselves will be troubled.

“Before all guests leave, I want to say that from tomorrow the potion stock sold is reduced by half. The boss didn't expect that his shop would be as lively as it is now. He said, for the sake of maintaining quality, he was overwhelmed in making many potions. I hardly rest every day.

So sorry for the inconvenience, thank you for supporting us.”

Jane's words this time made many people surprised. The previous amount is small, minus half means less. However, after thinking about it well, it seemed that it made sense. Even with the help of a few maids, it was difficult for dozens of bottles of potions every day.

Yeah .. at least that's what those people think.

By the time everyone left and the store was about to close, a man entered with a large sack. He immediately placed the sack in front of the cashier's desk. From his appearance alone, he did not look like a good person at all.

“Call your boss now!” yelled the man.

Jane glanced towards the sack and saw quite a number of ingredients of the potion. He immediately said, “Please excuse me, sir. We have our own suppliers. We do not accept the purchase of ingredients of making potions or equipment.”

“Call only your boss!” yelled at the man again.

“Can I help you?”

Alexander, better known as Faust emerged from the back room. Looking at the ferocious-looking man, he still had a friendly smile on his face.

“I have the ingredients here, make potions with these ingredients! I'll take it tomorrow!” yelled the man.

“Sorry, we do not have the service of making potions in person,” Alexander said with a friendly smile on his face.

“This is an order! I am the envoy of the Mad Ox group! If you do not want to get problems ..” The man's expression looked gloomy. “Just do it obediently!”

“Please go,” Alexander said without changing his expression.

“You-“

“Please leave your feet from this place,” by Alexander.

At the moment the man was about to get angry and attack, three robed people walked into the shop. Of course they were Aurora and the other two women. Looking towards the man, Aurora immediately narrowed her eyes.

The one who claimed to be the envoy of Mad Ox was only a level 1 peak hunter. He immediately took out a sack containing the ingredients of making potions then walked out. At the door, he turned his head and pointed at Alexander.

“Mad Ox won't just let you go! Remember that!”

After shouting, the man left.

Aurora glanced at the man and turned her eyes to Alexander.

“Is something wrong?”

Alexander was still standing in his place with a friendly smile on his face. Merely, his eyes seemed so indifferent as he said.

“Nothing. Just plain garbage.”
