When someone uses certain techniques to strengthen themselves, they will usually get a buff of a few percent. Maybe someone will be a little stronger. It happened to me and Saga. The problem is, this increase is more aimed at the level, where each level up one's strength will increase exponentially. So, it's more than just 2 or three times stronger. To be honest, you guys would understand it more easily if I said, every stat would be doubled during the use of the skill. So Saga had a stat equivalent to someone level 60, just one more step towards the realm of demigods.
Besides, after this I have no intention of hiding my strength anymore. So, victory is certain to be obtained.
"Let's go."
Saga started walking in front of me with slow steps. Its tall body and wide armor make Saga look like a steel wall that will protect the precious person for her. The sensation was amplified even further with the suppressing aura emitted by it. That feeling made me a little jealous. Although on the other hand, I don't want to have that much responsibility on my shoulders.
Expelling that thought, I focused on enemies that might come from different directions. Standing in front, Saga continued to release the laser light that claimed the lives of the goblins that confronted him. With a noticeable difference in strength, a ball as big as a drop of water that Saga threw was more than enough to kill the goblins in an instant.
We went through several hallways, elbows, and intersections before finally arriving in a fairly large room. There were some goblins fighting with swords. Judging from the proportions of his body and movements, they were at least level 31 of the Warrior class.
"Who are you!" The goblin asked with human language.
I didn't want to be disrespectful, but I immediately burned down everything in the room with [Firestorm]. They drowned in a sea of flames, then disappeared from this world in an instant.
All that time Saga remained silent, probably from feeling the change in emotions in me. Well, more than half of these changes were caused by Ren. So I'll blame him no matter what.
I did not expect the fire to spread into the hallway and enter another room. The announcement keeps popping up on my HUD screen.
Ah, did I tell you this system can't identify the opponent's data? I forget. But, at least I can still see their HP. I also used a power equivalent to lv 60.
"... Let's go." Saga said after a moment of silence.
I gave a small nod to her, and just followed her in silence.
We met the other Crimson Vortex members after a while, not far from the dungeon. I was not surprised after seeing some people using Night Watcher mode. Squinting my eyes, there were 3 people who became Night Watchers. Sigur the Barbarian, the Reaper Samantha, and Fairy Flower Arthia. All of them were wearing clothes with dark black themes and details depicting their elementals. White-silver for Arthia, pale purple for Samantha, and blood-red for Sigurd. Hm? does Arthur seem shocked to see Arthia become the Night Watcher? hehe, interesting.
Judging from her mental state and our circumstances, there was no reason for Artia to reject Ren's offer, so why was Arthur so surprised? Arthur himself was still confused. Percival is in the same condition.
"Hi Saga! We want to go to your place!" Arthia greeted with an energetic. Even amateur eyes like mine know that there is no romance in that sentence.
"I understand why Sigur and Samantha accepted the dream god's offer, but why Arthia too?!" Percival exclaimed dramatically until his tears came out.
"What's wrong with that? believe it or not, you will also accept Ren's offer if you feel what I feel right now!" Arthia seemed to be filled with happiness.
"I don't understand, and you just called out the name of the god? do you want to get divine punishment?!"
"really? Aah sorry, I just mentioned it."
"Yeah, I feel so strong! Much more than the usual saga. I feel like I can beat that red Orge by myself right now."
"really? that's hebatan? You sure those powers don't require a big price?
"You'll understand if you see it for yourself."
The conversation lasted for a while until we continued the expedition. From then on, every hallway and room was filled with Goblins. Saga and I stayed behind, letting Sigur, Samantha and Arthia show off their new powers. Of course, that made Arthur, Percival, and Noril gawk. An incredible increase in a short period of time, and it seemed that the strength of the three people was still increasing.
Well, that's because they are still level 25-27 so the level up is still fast. While the Exp they get is a lot. It still looks normal to me, but not to them.
"Should I accept the dream god's offer?"
"I want it too!"
"I'd better call him right away."
Arthur only let out a sigh, Noril whispered, while Percival looked at Saga with a hearty face like a child. Steve was still silent and confused.
"What did you give him as an offering?"
"Our soul and heart."
"Haha, that's the perfect answer. Basically we deliver anything that has historical value. But he never demanded anything."
"Truely, you often buy statues, souvernir, figurines, books, or anything with a unique design, Saga. Does the God of Dreams like such things? No, let's stop talking about him and focus on the enemy ahead."
After that, we continued exploring the goblin cave for quite some time. Until we get to the storage room. The place where all the remaining equipment belonged to the Crimson Vortex was stored. Unfortunately, the main part of the dragon skin armor had already been destroyed beyond sight. As expected of Apostle. Leave the arms, shoulders, and shoes. Also robes for Arthia, Samantha, Thalia, and Noril.
Everyone sighed except me and Steve.
They then use the equipment in the room. I can actually replace their equipment with better items, but, a little kid like me has a heroic grade item... I can imagine a member of the military or an underground organization knocking on my door tomorrow. That would be troublesome.
Then we immediately came out of the room. Not forgetting, I left a persona in the room, to guard the treasures.
After that we were faced with a bunch of level 25 goblins and above, numbering around a dozen. They shouted in a typical goblin voice, then, were slaughtered by Arthia with one AoE magic.
"It looks like I'm going to make a contract with the God of Dreams."
Yeah, that feeling is understandable.
