Another: Memory of Another World
Ch. 13 Heals at once deadly

I came back just before the sun reached its highest point. Compared to summer, this afternoon is not too hot, it even feels cool.

Along the way I saw people harvesting wheat, potatoes and various seeds that they had planted months before. The adults pulled the cart filled with large sacks while the children sat on it, joking with joy. While their mother followed behind while holding vegetables that happened to grow in the field. Their lives are far from easy, but they can still smile and laugh. Whether it is positive or negative, the feeling will spread like a ripple on the surface of the water. Looking at them, a smile had involuntarily formed on my face.

"Antares, where are you from?" The voice I knew sounded from the opposite side. Looking at the source of the voice, Febri and his friends came to me with their hands waving in the air.

"Oh that's just a walk." I choked a little with my own words.

"Hm, who really?" Said one of the children.

"Suspicious." Said another kid with a naughty grin.

All the children were silent for a moment, then said with serious faces together, "You're out of the forest!"

I threw away my face as a natural response. Had it crossed their minds, did they not have any other activities other than trying to go to the forest?

"Who said I was out of the woods? Why would I go there?" Actually I could have said yes with a serious expression, but given their personality, it might have been better not to say it.

"Don't lie, I can smell the scent of wild nature on your body!" One of the kids came forward and started sniffing me like a dog.

I pinched the boy's nose a little strongly. Then smile as gently as possible, "Maybe it's just your imagination~ ahahahaha. By the way, what do you want to do?"

Everyone looked at me with narrowed eyes, which made the tip of my mouth twitch violently. Luckily, the innocent Febri immediately answered my question.

"We want to see the adventurers who came with the village chief!"

Oh they're coming?

"How much in return did the village chief give? I mean, when did they come?"

"They just arrived, the adventurers are currently going around to find out the situation in the village."

"Hey you know, I heard they are famous adventurers who can defeat Giant Bear and Basilisk!" the child said excitedly.

The basilisk is a lizard monster with a petrified gaze, similar to a gorgon in Greek mythology. Beating it is not so difficult, as long as you know its advantages and disadvantages. In general, Giant Bear and Basilisk have an equivalent hazard rating. Of course this danger rating is not entirely true, as there will always be unique individuals among the monster pool. In the Ren system, they were at levels 9-10. Far weaker than Goblin Warriors, even though the difference was only 1 level, the difference was like heaven and earth, metaphorically speaking.

Silver rank? Are they going to kill themselves? Is the village chief into trickery? No, adventurers could only obtain requests through the guild, other than them there were only those workers who looked more like illegal workers.

"really? Aren't they great?" I smiled sincerely. To be honest, I feel like I'm losing myself, maybe Ren's childishness is contagious to me? It's dangerous!

"Just~ I can't wait to see them exterminate those goblins!"

"Now we no longer need to worry about an attack like yesterday! Ack-" one of the children elbowed the boy who spoke it.

Hm? "Is there another attack yesterday?"

"Err, no really... I said two days ago. Aye?"

"Yes right."

Looking at them for a moment, I could understand why they were lying. Or are they not allowed to tell me? Not that, haven't there been too many attacks lately? Is there a new ruler in the forest? Hopefully not, it makes me feel nervous. Without me knowing I was making a heavy sigh.

"So you're going to meet those adventurers?"

"Yes of course, you want to go to Antares?"

"I'll join you next time, Aunt Urdu is waiting for me."

"Is that so? Too bad. Get well soon so you can play with us again!"

"Not today, and hurry home! Ah right, the potatoes and vegetables you planted were harvested by the citizens yesterday. The village chief takes care of the rest. We go first!"

"Oh, thanks then."

I'm not afraid that the village chief will take all my labor, but are all the potatoes ready for harvest? I also forgot, Steve doesn't, he doesn't have any knowledge of agriculture. I will ask him later with the matter of these adventurers.

Long story short, I've returned to the healer's house.

"Finally go home too, thank goodness you didn't get lost on the road." He said rather excessively.

I slightly furrowed my brows when I heard those words.//can't you not make it too obvious? I don't have any directional issues like Zoro's mate, but hearing it still hurts.

"Maybe I should go straight home?" I thought with my hands touching my chin.

"You can do it if your wounds have closed" he said, shaking his head. "Eat first, after that I'll change your bandage."

The food offered by the aunt was more like potato soup and wheat porridge, only with the pungent smell of herbal medicine. The smell was so sharp that it made me nauseous.

"All right..." I forced the stomach acid that had reached the end of my throat to come down again, leaving a bitter and sour taste in my mouth.

Putting in a mouthful of porridge, the taste was so great and sharp that my tongue could not understand it. Luckily it was half solid, so I immediately swallowed it like drinking water without much enjoyment.

"Uwehh, thanks for the food."

<< Attention, additional effects of body strengthening, extra stamina, stimulation of regeneration, and acceleration of blood circulation have been activated. >>

Thanks for the notice. At least I knew it was real medicine, even though the taste... Urks...

"Oh is done? You're more submissive than I thought. Even an adult would cry and not want to take that medicine, you know."

Facing Aunt Urdu's smile, I tried my best to be flat-faced. I don't want to take it as a compliment. But if Ren says it, no, what do you think...?

"All right, let's go to the room. Auntie's already prepared the water."

In my room, I sat on the bed, while my aunt opened the bandages one by one. He would continue to talk about his experience as a healer in the village. Because he seemed happy, I just listened to him in silence. Of course I would occasionally respond to it, but almost the entire speaker just passed in my brain and vanished just like that.

Then the strangeness started to happen.

"Your body is indeed impressive for a child your age, but isn't it healing too soon? Not even a single scar was there!" His voice was a surprise, but his face seemed excited.

"Of course, the speed of healing is a little faster than most people, but still not this fast. What has my aunt given me the last 3 days?"

I raised my hand and activated [World Memory] right in front of him. At this point it is not useless to hide it again, but one thing is certain, apparently only I can see the details in the card. While others only see symbols or images such as berserker, archer, tarot cards or ordinary humans. For Urdu's aunt, her card featured a woman and a variety of plants around her.

Herbalists and Alchemists? Worth it, the potion had an effect that exceeded normal.

"What do you see?"

"Skills that increase the effectiveness of drugs and potions."

"really?! That's great! Doesn't that mean aunty can earn more money! You're great Ares!" My aunt hugged me excitedly. Although I called her an aunt, she was only 27 years old, so I could still feel that tenderness on the back of my head.

Is that what you think? I can also earn a lot of money by being an appraiser, but I am already too rich right now. And I don't want to spend all that money. // The number 68,997 points suddenly appeared in my mind.
